Is it me or is Mcree a bad class? His slide is so bad, the range of his stun grenade is bad and he's only good for 1v1 fights, if someone from the other team decides to join the fight, ya fucked. |

Game definitely has some balancing issues, but it's only in beta so that's to be expected. Otherwise it's fairly entertaining for a FPS. The auto-aim abilities annoy me to no end. Especially when I'm playing a class that relies on mobility / skill. |

So basically. Torbjorn is OP. Bastion is OP. Tracer is OP. Mei is OP. Reaper is OP. Hanzo is OP. Genji is OP. I'm nominating Pharah to be OP because she easily OP's Mei. Junkrat also beats out Mei so he's OP. Soldier: 76 can kill Mei in an instant. He's OP. Mccree can flashbang/kill Mei. He's OP. Reinhardt is immune to ice. He's OP. Widowmaker can snipe the shit out of her. She's OP. Over half the cast is OP. Mercy, Zenyatta, Symmetra, and Lucio, just add to Mei's OP nature. Roadhog can basically spar toe to toe with Mei. He's OP. Zarya, D.Va, and Winston obviously need buffs. 18/21 characters are either OP or make the other characters even more OP. I forgot Zarya can put a shield on Mei. Winston can put a shield around Mei. D.Va can destroy bullets. OP. |

@Thrashinuva Pretty much, while there are SOME balance issues, it's mainly players needing to learn how to counter and git gud essentially. |

strange things happen in quick matches When playing a suicide ultimate run mei "I'll freeze the enemies, kill the sniper" "No ult the team, stop the payload and I myself will carry you to the end screen" "Am I awaited?" "You will get play of the game, shiny and chrome" *Cries tears of glorious battle charges into the enemy team* *Immediately gets sniped* MVP: "Mediocre!" |

Tracer is alright, I've been one hit killed by Hanzo before so she's very squishy, she's just like the scout from TF2. Hanzo and Genji require a whole heap of skill to play, if you get up close and personal with Hanzo, he will have a hard time. His ult s is so bad when you do it against experienced players. It's like a slow kamehameha wave. lol Bastion all he can do his camp, if you can nuke him good with Phara rip |

Played 9 hours and already bored somewhat. Can't really defend a $40 price tag. Hell, Titanfall gave me 60 hours before I became bored, and I got that for $25 from a key site. Natural Selection 2 is still my gold standard for multiplayer-only shooters. 400 hours for $22 and I never got bored before the developers kind of ruined the game. Overwatch is too shallow for me. |

Pharah is the legit hardest counter to Mei. Even if Mei catches her off guard Pharah can just jet jump out of her ice spray. Only if she's off cooldown or Mei gets lucky with an icicle can Mei ever hope to kill her. |

Thrashinuva said: Killing Pharah isn't Mei's specialty since Pharah can jump over Mei's ice wall, spray, and ult. But Mei is pretty good at annoying Pharahs. Her cryofreeze is as long as Pharah's ult so baiting it out is good. Your icewall, if placed right, can save an entire team from a Pharah ult too. If Pharah doesn't see you, you can snipe her down with the long-ranged blaster as well. Mei's not exactly a good counter but her abilities are good with the hell out of Pharah.95PercentCaim said: Medium counters are Mei I can't buy that at all. Overwatch suffers from RPS rock paper siz, you play who counters rather than who you want through the match. You encounter a rock you switch to paper so on. Maybe some people like that but for a game based all on finding a character you love its style goes against that forcing you to switch to fill the roll most needed rather than the roll you want. You don't really get to practice and win a round solely playing the character you want to perfect unless you have a good balanced team you have to switch up based on the demands of the match. Maybe you don't want to play a support but nobody else wants to so you're stuck 75% of the game playing backup instead of the role or character you're better at because demands of the balance outweights been able to just play the character you want. Its not impossible but you start to feel selfish sticking to your favorite character when theres a gap in your team that nobody wants to fill and you're losing. |

Its not impossible but you start to feel selfish sticking to your favorite character when theres a gap in your team that nobody wants to fill and you're losing. I don't think this is true. I think this is what everyone else thinks is true. Maybe it's because I play Mei and she can basically do everything, but I don't feel like I ever need to switch. There are direct counters to Mei like Pharah, but she doesn't generally cause me a huge problem on her own. If she's out and about I focus on the rest of the enemy, unless they're also Pharah... But a team of Pharah has never happened with me. If it ever does I intend to have practiced how to fight her with whatever means necessary. In reality a lot of other FPS games use the same system. Enemy brought a shotgun? Bring grenades. Enemy brought grenades? Bring a sniper rifle. Enemy brought a sniper rifle? Bring an assault rifle. If you're looking for circles, they're present in basically everything. In my opinion, this is better than everyone playing "Rock", in a game of "Rock". In Overwatch there isn't only 3 options, or 5, or 9, but 21 and counting. One hero can stand up to a majority of the cast and so countering other peoples picks isn't so easy when considering teams of 6, which means that you are harder to counter just by default. It isn't merely a circle, but a web of completely different branching paths. McCree kills Mei easy, but only if he uses his flashbang on her, otherwise McCree is taken out easy by Mei, unless of course an ally is around to help defend you, in which case Mei can't kill you at all. It isn't just a matter of who has the right gun. |

I hope they make the character selection for opponents in AI modes more varied. I can see myself playing this mode a lot in order to unwind and stuff, but if they don't change it so that you won't fight anyone but Roadhog, S:76, Reaps, Zarya and Zenyatta it would be even more repetitive than fighting AIs needs to be. |
