The construction workers are working late near shrine. A rumor about a ghost coming out in this shrine. AND IT DID! (it was laughing)
The girl visits Yakumo, who's sleeping. She got near, and he woke up, he said it must be a bad day for waking up seeing her first. He got out a battle (a drink?) from the refrigerator. He goes to change without warning.
He "lives" in the movie research club, which bunches of people randomly named it. He usually covers his red eye with a contact. (not that it changes to red when it's time, but to take the contact out.)
She brings Yakumo to tell the souls that the guy is arrested. They are gone, and the friend is cured.
They are now talking about souls. Yakumo thinks that they are thoughts and feelings put together, and formerly people. He doesn't support those people from shrine or doing related things for doing "oharai" and sealing. (against their thoughts) Besides, there are other who have no special power and use money to lie to people.
About the money... he already got from her friend's father!
She's telling Yakumo about her club activity, and then he said the contract ends here when they arrived to school.
At part time job, she asks her co worker about something and it relates Yakumo.
A customer who looks very strict came. He got a phone call and told her and the assistant to be out. The assistant told her that he's not good at talking about his feelings, and he is fond of her.
"Kitsune no tatari" So he's the recent owner of the shrine from earlier, and he wanted to reform it. There's a rumor that "kitsune no tatari" disturbed the construction.
The girl is visiting that shrine and a soul of kitsune came out in a form of woman. She runs away and bumped into a monk with a red eye!
A talk between a guy with two red eyes and a woman, who was ordered by him to do something.
So the monk was Yakumo's mother's younger brother.
She lets him see if the soul she saw was true, and he showed that he was wearing a red contact! He's feeling what Yakumo's felt (loneliness and pain) of having red eye. He can see souls without his own will, so it's not good for him to stay in the shrine, where there are many souls.
Yakumo is at home.
Uncle introduced Nao, Yakumo's cousin, to her. She cannot hear a word, but can feel others' feelings. Yakumo left when his uncle suggested for tea. His uncle explained that Yakumo is not good at expressing his own feelings, a kind person in his heart.
He suggested her to talk to Yakumo about the soul. Then when she got out, she saw Yakumo with a girl!
Next day at work, she is talking with her co-worker (vice shop owner), he got his car repaired and back today.
She walks to the shrine again, and saw that customer picking up a tag (he's disabled and on the wheel), and she saved him from falling. It was that tag when she saw the soul! Her description to the soul triggered him? He "walked" to the fox.
Laughing came out and something flies toward her, and Yakumo saved her. He's here with a request from someone. He said the soul and the weird thing happened just now are not connected. Those man-made "effects" is connected to a house (construct workers' office). The door was opened and the assistant came out! He's against the construction. He told the president that doing that won't make the woman he love come back.
The president and the assistant was best friend when they were young. The elope didn't work. The meeting place was wrongly transferred, so they didn't meet (there are two shrines in the neighborhood). Different social level made him not move and waited the woman to come instead. She married and died when she gave birth to one child.
Yakumo told him that the woman is still waiting for him.
He got up the wheel and walked toward her, who showed up with fox mask. She took the mask off. When they touched like E.T touching, they are in the space with light. He apologized her. Her soul is rested in peace when he said sorry.
Yakumo later told her that the girl who she saw with Yakumo was the person who requested him and she is the soul's granddaughter. She read the her grandmother's letter and saw the soul.
After that event, she told Yakumo she's going to be honest to herself.
Then a guy is showing 5 girls on the computer screen that the bodies are going to be used in some way, and that woman who was with the guy with two red eyes holds a cup of wine. Sensei is doing this because of his daughter who passed away.
I ♥Two Syaorans from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and TRC!!!
At first I thought Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi is the worst Light Novel adaption...but I guess I am wrong. It seem the next episode they gonna follow the main source from volume2 but I don't think it is very exciting when the director has already reveal the CULPRIT!!!.....there is one more...blehhh I am lazy to complaint right now.
If your going to complain that Yu-Gi-Oh! Mangas are on the top NY times manga best sellers, you must not realize how popular Card games are(as well as the fact that you get a free card).
I have to agree with that.
It was a nice episode tho, and i liked watching it.
Last weeks episode had much more impact tho.
The cliff hanger of this episode looked interesting and it seems there will be a good episode next week.
The way they tried to fake that the place was hunted also looked very good, sealing away your memories isn't always a good thing to do they can be precious after all.
A very interesting episode for me =^_^=
Although it lacked action, it introduced new characters, developed the old ones and gave some information about the plans of the man with two red eyes. The next episode is from the manga of the year 2007, so we can expect it to be quick-paced and exciting as the first one, or even better!
Maybe 1st ep was more interesting, but I really like this anime :) Reminds me of Ghost Hunt, but Shinrei's more in my taste. Suprisingly - I liked the soundtrack ;)

Episode 1 was better... but I like the fact they built a little on Yakumo's family... (I really liked his uncle... "sharing" the brden of the red eye) and I liked the developement of that pink haired girl... (WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER HER NAME?!) her and Yakumo's "relationship"
I also see a bit of foreshadowing going on with Nao-chan... I really do... either that or she's just a filler... and while this may be starting to sound like a generic anime, I HOPE that Nao isn't just a filler...

I will have to see how it plays out before i complain that the culprit is already revealed. I am more interested in seeing how they are planning to insert her spirit into the girls.
Episode one was better, but this wasn't that bad either. It seems like the kids in his family aren't very fortunate.
This was a pleasent episode a bit more on the Scooby-Doo style of mystery rather than the horror/mystery, I still suspect the plot will thicken. For those looking for a blood bath you have the wrong series and wrong network (it being NHK and all). OST was better timed than episode one and nice music overall. Not as exciting as episode one but pretty nifty.
Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.
But my feels.
Wow.... the case was solved very quickly XD
Like everyone here, episode 1 was better.
Next case is interesting. Kid ghosts are always freaky.Hope they make an impact in the horror element next episode.

ono daisuke is the reason i'm still watching. haha.
Some pleasant parts but overall a weak episode. I couldn't muster up much interest in the old man's situation and when the culprit was revealed like Alex I couldn't help thinking of Scooby Doo. I wouldn't say it's a bad episode but it is pretty much forgettable except the end which sounds quite promising.

Is it just me or does this seem sort of lifeless so far, I'm sure it'll pick up at some point but for now it has been lacking something essential and i can't quite figure out what that something is.
It won't give up it wants me dead god damn this noise inside my head
I found this episode a little boring, and, like the first, it seemed really rushed to me. I feel like the episodes really aren't giving me enough time to care or become curious about what's happening before they launch into explaining everything (or at least their watered-down version of 'everything'.)
Plus, I didn't really understand how the granddaughter of the 'Spirit of the Week' ended up going to Yakumo for assistance..I think at the end Yakumo said something about her finding her grandmother's diary, going to the shrine & seeing a ghost. He also says that she tasked him with investigating, but how did she end up going to Yakumo specifically for assistance? I'm assuming his gift isn't well known, & he didn't say that he knew her or anything, so I'm just a little unsure how that came about...
I did enjoy Yakumo's uncle, (though he didn't really look the way I thought he would.)
I think the situation with the red-eyed mystery guy probably has me the most curious, but then he's only shown for a few moments each episode. I wish I knew more about him & what the heck his purpose/objective is in the story.
Also as kind of a side note, I have to say I'm kinda disappointed Yakumo is always sleeping on his couch. I liked how he slept in a sleeping bag & was compared to a caterpillar in the manga. ;P
I mean, I understand that the anime can't (and even arguably shouldn't) completely follow the manga, but I wish the show kept in more little details like this that I enjoyed--especially since I see no benefit in removing them...*sigh*
Still, I'm cautiously looking forward to the next episode. I just hope it doesn't fall as flat as these last two episodes did for me.
The mystery aspect of this episode seemed somewhat forced. It felt even more rushed than the first episode. However, i did enjoy meeting the family this early on, as well as the soundtrack. The next episode seems to be more exciting. Hopefully this series will begin to pick up :]

This. I could (barely) live with the first episode being severely rushed as it was still interesting, but this episode was both rushed and boring... 2/5 for the episode.
Better episode, at least there's a bit of backstory and some devellopment on Yakumo and his relative instead of a straightforward ownage like in the previous one. Still nothing spectacular though.
This epsiode screams "FAST PACED" everywhere. Also, the little girl kind of creeped me with her "AM I KAWAII UGU~~~~" Key-like face. I was like "god damn just say this girl is possessed already!".
Nevertheless, an OK episode. As someone said on another page, very Scooby-Doo like.
At first I was like ヽ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ. But then I was like ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌.
