| Starting a story right in the middle of the action is a common if sometimes overused technique, to be fair, but I wasn't that interested in most of this first chapter until things took a slightly different turn at the end. You'd normally expect Renya to get a Geass of some sort from C.C. but apparently that didn't quite work. I wonder why, perhaps he already has one or...? |

| This new code geass feels a bit weird and kinda dull without the usual mecha and lelouch egoism/awesomeness. Towards the end it did get kinda interesting so i'm gonna look forward to that. Though this manga seems to be moving towards the usual shounen battle manga type, hoping it can move away from it and more towards the psychological stuff we saw and loved in the anime. Btw is that exploding rock sakuradite? And I'm still kinda confused what country is this set in? |

| Oh it's already out. Renya is kind of a weird name. Well, he is a weird one too :3. Didn't like the fight scenes, it's pretty hard to follow. Also poor introduction of characters. Kind of a weak first chapter to this prequel but it's only starting so let's see. Oh and C.C. in that armor is <3. So, is this coming out in a weekly or monthly basis? |

| If you expect mecha's, it would probably be the best to drop it now. I doubt you will see mecha's in era of samurai's (but I do hope to see some tactical battles of samurai tough). The new anime tough should have mecha's so maybe that one will keep you more interested. and i dont rly understand why it has to be in the past i would have preffered a fcking sequel Maybe, just maybe the new CG's are not made solely for milking the franchise but also because the author wants to explore other events in CG universe. |
