| Ok episode, but i can't get over the fact that if they just made the anime like the manga this would be awesome. Like this, with the censoring and everything else this is just an average anime :( |

The creator just made Natsu win because his simply the good guy with no reasoning behind it. The old man was ridiculously superior to the other guy also. Aren't they both guild masters and member of the ten mages thing? Is the old man so much stronger just because the good guys have to look cool? But anyway i can accept it easier than Natsu's fight simply on the logic that the old guy has been more years around. I'm i right to assume that Mistogan has some kind of wind magic. He collected the power of Makarov that was torn away by wind and then those flying flags came by a breeze of wind after the woman asked him why he was there. It looks very possible. |

If you are gonna make him get the upper hand then make him use some other way of winning or get to a new level of power. I like my shounen to at least put some rules down in terms of it's own world and not be a complete mess. |

| This is the only anime I have ever rated before watching the whole thing, that's how much I'm in love with it. The end of this arc was epic~ Natsu totally pwning Gajeel made my day; as did the Fairy Law bit. And... I haven't read the manga at all, but I suspect that Lucy's loaded 'rents might pay for the guild being rebuilt? >.< I can't wait a week for another episode, I'll die. |

| Are these guys wizards? Because at this level of fighting they may as well have been screaming "Kamehameha!" Regardless, Natsu finished off his battle nicely. Master Jose gave a decent enough motive for why he went along with this war, and Fairy Tail's midget master sure as hell cleaned the plate when it came to ending this episode. | AWESOME EPISODE Nastsu rage was epic and Makarov too . I thought Erza was going to Die Thank god makarov was there and that Mystogan guy creeps me out can"t wait to hear his story Next week is lucy story ;) Can anyone tell me what kind of magic does Jose use ? |
| Loved this episode, Makarav and his Fairy Law were great :) I also liked it that we got some info about Mystogan, even though it was only a little. But well, not sooo much looking forward to next episode ^^ |

He was punching him. If he won by enveloping him in a huge fireball and melting him then it will be sensible. But that's not how it happened. |

| WOW. I just watched Bleach before watching Fairy Tail and Makarov was scarier than Ulquoirra's release :P I liked Natsu too ^^ Lucy's the one who's not fighting at all these days... And Mystogan is cool *_* Erza stayed pretty strong and put up a nice fight but OMG was she really gonna kill herself with her sword right before Makarov showed up ???. But I'm still glad Makarov showed up ^^. He's awesome. |

| The animation on Fairy Tail is nice, and I am little sad that we are unable to see the master is going into giant form. The battles are awesome and I enjoyed it. Mystogan is coal character. |

If a fire dragon smacked a steel dragon, would you object to the steel dragon being harmed by it? Because that's essentially what is happening here. Natsu isn't simply punching Gajeel, he's hitting him with blows roughly comparable to a dragon striking something. agree again. In addition: the premise of your arguement is faulty for two other reasons. 1) People (even real ones) DO become stronger in desperate situations. Haven't you heard all the stores about mothers lifting cars to save their babies (or something like that). Nothing gets the old adreneline flowing like anger and desperation. 2) Makarov himself explains in ep 2 that "magic is not a miraculous power. its the synchronized and incarnated form of spirit energy particles that flow within us and in nature. it requires willpower and concentration...pouring all of you soul into whatever you do is magic" in short...natsu wanted it more...it is dragonball...magic style, lol! |

| It was a good episode, but now that I look back on it, there is one thing I highly dislike. Of course some powerful magic kills off everything he sees as an enemy. It is equivalent to using a cheat code in a game, in my view. |

| So Jose had potential to be the leading master wizard? Interesting... The animator did a great job making Jose out as super villain in the last few episodes, because I kind of looked down on Jose, when he got kicked in the balls by Lucy XD Also glad my theory was wrong, that the master of FT would die fighting Jose. |

| Arceus Makarov used JUDGEMENT! Didn't seem like Laxus did anything but Mystogan actually helped. Phantom's basically destroyed. With the victory scene I went back and played the Gurren Lagann victory theme. It kind of fits. And from the previous episode (which I thought would fit better here): |
