| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh....so that's where the budget went. -The beginning of this episode had Gajeel with a "Who the hell do you think I am" and Natsu with a new attack that had "Guren" in the title. And then I knew the episode would be awesome (By the way, the way Natsu took done Gajeel was short but oh so very sweet) -Jesus, the Makarov vs. Jose was....wow....So basically, Makarov can create Second Impact wherever he wants? :P -Next week, Lucy.....T_T |

| awesome episode i was wondering what mystogan was doing but this is a good excuse:p Makarov is the best i love it that a little old man is like the strongest. |
| I actually liked how the manga did the master. I liked him going into giant form, and then using the spell since it was more intimidating, but this works too. Next episode is going to be a real tear jerker. Maybe less so because of Lucy's voice, but meh. |

| 4/5 I was a bit disappointed in the beginning. I wanted to see more of Natsu vs Gajeel, but it ended so quickly. The rest of the episode was awesome! My favorite so far. I'm starting to like this anime more and more. I thought I wouldn't like it since I hate Once Piece, but this stuff is much better. <: |

| Did Gajeel's battle ended quickly ? I'm sort of not sure , since i didn't recap on the manga. I feel that Makarov vs Jose's battle was great. Fairy Law's animation was amazing too. 5/5 :D |
| Haha!! That was amazing!!! The fights were really really cool!! Particularly Makarov v. Jose (even Erza was mildly awesome, and her fights are, on average, very dissappointing for how powerful she supposedly is.) Also this week, the flashbacks were a decent lenght that added to the emotion of the scene, not completely detracting from the fight (poor little Lucy crying ) And did anyone else notice Mystogan's magic eating of the apple through a face mask? I know we can't see his identity yet, but he would have looked just as nonchalant simply holding the apple. Lol. |

| Wow... Amazing episode, it was just a step above the previous 27. First Natsu destroys Gajeel. Then we have Mystogan, up to his usual trolling behind the scenes, but still coming off as badass. Finally we have Makarov destroying Jose, and even though he's an old man, I still have to admit that he's pretty badass. I hope Fairy Tail will be around for years to come. |

Did anyone noticed that Makarov used a move like Luffy from One Piece to defeat one of the elements ? xD |

| Natsu going super GAR against Gajeel was my favorite part of this episode. ♥ But Makarov vs. Jose was just as cool. P: I want to learn more about Lucy's childhood, next episode looks good to me. And I like Lucy, so that's a plus. |

| Fuck yeah Mystogan and Laxus cameo. The Jose and Makarov fight was actually better than I thought it would be even though there wasn't too much of it. This pretty much ends the Phantom Lord arc and next episode will wrap up Lucy's loose ends. |

| fairy law- most awesome magic so far, or at least tied with dragon slayer magic. so fairy tail delivers triple whammy- natsu destroys their guild; mistgun destroys its branch guilds; and makarov defeats the master and last of element four; to sum it all up- don't mess with fairy tail |

| Fairy Law was ownage :D Makarov vs. Jose was just great. Too bad Gajeel just got owned at the very start of the episode. It would've been much sweeter if they prolonged the fight. Next episode would be the conclusion of the arc. It can be expected that fillers will start after that -__- |

Then we won't be expecting too much filler then :D I remember we have some fillers in the manga itself before the next arc, at least 1 or 2 chapters, but it looks like it's not going to be these episodes... The next episodes are a nice followup to Lucy's story... Natsu vs Gajeel fight was great but kinda short. I was getting bored a little when Erza and Jose were talking but when Makarov entered things got really wild! I also loved it when Mystogan showed all those flags of Phantom branches. Lol at Mystogan making a mess. Fairy Law was awesome, nuff said. Though the post battle (graduation?) song was kinda out of place and weird but it was ok. Next episode: Lucy backstory. Brace yourself for some Aya Hirano overload(or will little Lucy be voiced by others?) 5/5 |

| It was an OK episode, but I didn't really enjoy the Phantom arc in the manga either. Now comes the mini-arc about Loki, and then my two favorite, the Paradise Tower and the Luxus Runaway arc. I'm really looking forward to these. |
