How often do you read thread replies between the first and last page?

Do you navigate through a thread by click from page to page, reading other people's replies? I usually don't and goes straight to replying to the topic, unless if a thread is particularly interesting.

It's probably just my standards, but isn't having your posts read by other people is the reason to posts at forums or message boards?

I only read the first and last.
If I really love that topic, I'll read each page.
This is serious.

depends on it's length, I usually read all the posts if it is under like 5-10 pages, depending on my interest in the topic.

Same exact deal, but even if I really liked the topic I'd only read the first so-and-so pages then. It happens.

Anything over 6 pages long I won't read every reply for. Also unless it's a user I'm fond of I won't read a lengthy response. Wall of text crits hurt...

I just read the first page to get an overview of what the thread is about, then few last pages to see what the current conversation is about. Anything in between is irrelevant for me :D

If it's five pages or less I read all. More than that I read first page, maybe second, and last. And sometimes I don't even post in the topic after doing so lol.

Anything beyond 3 pages drops my chance of reading it all by exponential decay. And only does certain topics that interest me actually get that chance of being read in the first place. And mostly, I look for bulky posts rather than one sentence ones. Though the latter is sometimes too hard to ignore.

I only read posts, from people who interests me.

I rare to never read any of the replies a thread gets. Usually I just read what the topic poster said, then give my reply on that. I never even look back on a thread to see if anyone replied to me. My time on the net is too short for any of that stuff.

Depends on how many pages it is and if the topic is of great interest for me to read all the post. Or else maybe just a few and that's it.

I usually do in another forum, but the setup at MAL is very minimal and that made me almost never check every other pages in a thread, just because there are so much pages to click/navigate on. If we can have 50 posts per page display here, I'll likely read more, or at least skim for all replies.
