| Ye once again, he just makes everything look so easy. Those golems are somewhat impressive though. He also had to deal with a vampire this episode but made that look easy too. Looks like they're pushing for a Magic Contest coming soon. Ugh, this is going to feel rushed already with just two episodes left. |

| Are you serious? What kind of cliffhanger is this? The guy’s supposed to be the black school’s headmaster, yet he can’t even control his own summoning? Why is he even a headmaster, then? And why didn’t he just ask Arel, a student at his school, to save it instead of getting swallowed like a stupid rookie? |

| Arel wanting to be promoted by the Black School, but can't due to missing the deadline, the former with his Golem having to resort to being Instructor Rogwell's research assistant, it's too late to back out now. Even within the audience, them being distrustful of the instructor torturing his subjects with his battle Golems, Arel's Golem being an earth-alchemy hybrid to act as normal as possible with the inferior cuts of metal, when combining magic and material, truly makes it stand out. Even with spirit magic teacher Kaede's test in the underground to defeat the undead, his ability to discern even the advanced class undead like the Undead Wight, he spares no mercy for even the anime-standard tropey introductions hitting him with Holy Ray and Holy Cross, that it just fazes her understanding to no end. The Black School being the only one left, though its promotion exam doesn't exist due to its low numbers, and Latalia allowing him to venture into a sealed library, where the vampire demon Mastema finds himself being free and subject to Arel's classless magic to shrink down to size being his servant familiar, everything's easy peasy for Arel achieving Second Grade for all schools. However, this is not the case for headmasters, where the headmaster of the Black Institute of Magic gets lesser allowance due to low contributions towards the City, the upcoming 6 Schools' Magic Contest is the only way to keep it afloat. Worse still, the Black School's headmaster resorting to summoning a demon, and then the irony of getting eaten by a gluttonous monster, it's the final story beat for the ongoing Magelord Festival. Just accept that everything so far, as mediocre as it is, there's just no expectations left for this show. |

| well i figured last week there would be a big inter-magic school tournament. so every headmaster is going to try and recruit him to up their budget for next year a bit? hmm. i bet it'll go one of two ways. 1 he won't back any one school but go entirely solo. 2 he'll back the black school since their headmaster is dead. plus they seem to be the only school that will fit his... 'anything goes as long as i can figure it out'... mentality. of course, the big blobby slime thing is going to interrupt everything; and our dude will whomp it to manageable cuteness like in the EP when it plops upon his head. it was pretty funny when the demon dude was turned into a Ken-Doll Sized Person. it reminded me of Senbi from 'Oh! My Goddess'. "Can I get a SHAKKIN!" CMON, give the lil demon dude that line and make all us ol'fart otaku laugh! ;> |

| What was that golem researcher even talking about? When the same weight a metal golem is obviously going to be stronger than a golem made of literal dirt, why would Arel have to sacrifice strength to make it lighter. Does he think that soldiers should be wearing plate armour made from stone as well? Absolutely ludicrous. |
| This show was average at one point, but once Reina left it just got worse and worse. Can't wait for this to be over. |

| Holy Ray....Holy Ray....Holy Ray..... Once again, Arel just passes all the schools with his insane talent with magic...shouldn't be surprised at this point. The most entertaining school this time around I guess was the Earth one with the golems....i guess.... |

| What is even the point of a story like this? MC literally has no physical or mental issues slowing him down. Guy is just rolling through life, getting promotions and accolades, and the next two episodes will be just that, only with demons involved. There is no way this shit gets a season 2. But at-least if you're looking for a generic OP MC fantasy, this gets the job done. |
| You know what I just realized... Since the [Sword city], dude haven't really learned all that much. Since he's already taught by the strongest of both and learned the highest level of skills That's why he's able to easily do everything, without having to really learn much... Even back in Sword City, the only things he's learned is [GUTS]... he already learned everything else from his Mom. All the "training" just do is help him get stronger physically, not skillfully as no one else in Sword City can teach him anything new in skills besides [GUTS]... . And now in the Magic city, it's the same. He's been overpowering everything with what he already know. The only thing he's learn that's new is [FLIGHT], which is only cause his dad is afraid of heights and didn't teach him. So yea... at this point, it feels like MC's traveling actually didn't really do all that much, LOL. He's literally only learned 2 new thing since the beginning... [GUTS] and [FLIGHT]. Everything else he's already know and surpassed even the Grandmasters (and Archmages). (and this is why the series just have bunch of timeskips, since there's barely any "training" or "learning") Which due to how he easily overpower everything, he thinks all the overpower stuff he's doing isn't really that uncommon. So MC does have a fault in this series. While he's mostly aware of his surroundings, including romantic aspect and has the power to overcome everything. He doesn't exactly have the best "common sense" due to his upbringings by the strongest mom and dad. ___ ___ ___ Also, MIKOS, I LOVE MIKOS . And yea... Black discrimination, Black Magic. TBH tho... I was slightly hoping for the MC to end up helping the Black Magic School. But it looks like it's going to be the opposite, with MC probably having to defeat the Black Magic summoned creature... which would then cause the Black Magic School to have a even more negative image... RIP. |
