I've read the manga before and it follows a trend of transported to fantasy world, Demon Lord, save the world, etc. Surprisingly, I think this has better visuals than some of the other fantasy anime this season, at least the similar ones. Oh and the abilities part...where Akira ended up being on the short of the stick. The "assassin" abiilty was bestowed upon him but yeah, this pretty much jumpstarts the main story. They'll probably adapt the general tone of the show as the series has quite a bit of content. |

Novelist Matsuri Akai's lone series is quite the premiere alright, of hard-headed assassin killing...which starts from the stereotypical Isekai setting. A class suddenly being summoned into another world for the usual "heroes defeating the demon king" type to find out their statuses and classes, and this is where Akira Oda and his class start with variable skills, with some to-be-expected people playing the role of the hero. However, Akira sensing something amiss, other than his role as "assassin" to privately investigate the matter with the king and his daughter, though killing them now would get their potential plan out of the way. For now, the class rallied behind the genius of the chosen hero Satou Tsukasa, and thus trained by knight commander Saran Mithray, though him personally sensing Akira on the side to strike a conversation to help him figure out more about their world and personally train him, it's definitely two sides of the coin being a lone assassin who's stealth is at level max, against everyone else being stereotypical, and more or less, a girl hiding in the darkness awaiting his reply to see how much the kingdom has sacrificed for their summoning, as much as the class is doing their best to get the job done alongside Commander Saran in defeating a formidable minotaur monster. Sunrise (or Bandai Namco Filmworks rather), came out guns blazing for this one right out of the park. Welcome back, and rise from your grave to deliver Sunrise Smooth once again! |

I expected it to be somewhat trashy... and yeah, it is. But it does look rather pretty and I like the setting, especially MC being an assassin, so I might as well give it a chance. |

Point for having a MC that's not pathetic or completely naive like "the usual template". I'm interested to see where this goes, for now.![]() |

I thought it would be your standard isekai with the whole class summon into another world, but this time thing is not what it seemed.. and mc is an assassin, and appparently more powerful than the hero himself.. what an interseting setup and I'd like to see what happen next |

I give it points for Akira being put in a Class you don't usually associate with heroes or heroics. And the only thing he got max levels is stealth. Well, makes sense. |

Holy, felt like they just went thru 3-4 eps worth of content there. Just instantly gets from point to point of the usual setup stuffs with barely down time. Man immediately had suspicion and accustomed to his abilities for instance. Cant tell how it is compared to source but if they are skipping thru hopefully only to get to the more interesting parts and not constantly. |

The: "I want to use "it"!" line was way too anime-coded 😂 This show feels fun though, and is vaguely similar to Solo Leveling in its energy. Also I wouldn't have known if I could have trusted the Knight Saran, but he's apparently an ally (unless it changes next episode). Was also confused by them having CCTV, or surprised at least anyway. |

This episode was really beautiful, top music, absurd opening and really good quality, definitely one of the best anime of October, the conversations between Akira and Mithray were very realistic for an isekai, in some isekai we don't see a protagonist put in the foreground the return to his own world and his family, but here we also see understanding from Mithray and this really struck me, I really hope we can have a second season because the way the first episode went and the animations are consistent, we can't do anything else but give my most sincere compliments to the Sunrise studio. |

Why there's a obviously in the title? I am really getting my GOAT Aqua vibes from Akira for multiple reasons(including va). It actually really praise worthy when guy actually uses his brain immediately after getting Isekaied. Credits to him. Normally in this type class summon type ones there a betyral theme right. So it didn't happen (yet?) is change of pace. So it's not a edgy revenge story or I maybe I am prematuring. That knight captain is honestly great guy maybe too good. Normally a Isekai mc doesn't get this smooth of a start unless you are a slime. Genuinely intriguing plot so far and production quality looks amazing. And the silver haired elf? Waifu is coming next episode. This looks really tasty food. |

So the main character spends all this time hiding... then a random guy shows up and he completely trusts him, then he stops hiding and joins the dungeon. No tumult over it, nothing ever mentioned, just like that? This is brain dead level. I liked the art though. Title should be "I speedran an isekai story as an assassin" and be labeled as parody. So to recap Hush hush don't show random guy appears, we show ourselves to random guy then we show ourselves to the entire class and fight in the dungeon, nobody cares like wtf is this |

As expected, the animation was terrible and completely ruined, a stark contrast to when I first read the manga. I didn't really have high hopes for the film when I first saw the trailer, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. It was truly disappointing. |

at the very start of the episode, i noticed the "summoning spell text" is actually all arabic written .. let me try to translate it: "using the souls of the sacrifices, we are summoning a new entity from another world, so don't waste the souls of our sacrifices, summon a new entity from another world to become the pillar of power we rely on, we are calling the souls of the innocent sacrifices of virgins, and grateful souls who don't hold a grudge or a sin since they were born, please don't get angry about presenting you with these virtuous souls as a sacrifice, since they willingly presented themselves to your cause, and to offer you the great power, so please dwellers of planet Earth accept the sacrifice of these righteous holy souls, and use the power given to you for the greater purpose, i seek you great entities to spawn in front of me, and present your great aid for my call" in order for me to read it all i had to watch the scene on 0.25 speed 1/4 of the normal speed all this "spell" is written in arabic at first, then the written language for some reason is mirrored it captured my attention because usually a "magic spell" would be written in ancient nordic, japanese hiragana, sometimes in latin, and sometimes in hebrew, and some times in a made up nonsensical gibberish. so for the spell to be written in a language i can actually READ! this is new! i doubt anyone would actually care about such a detail.. but i TRULY managed to read the entire spell! |

The designs are consistent and the production has already finished, I can see that there is a lack of fluidity in the animation and direction, but so far it seems decent. And that fight in contrast with the 3D castle was very good, I doubt the anime will reach this level again, maybe in the last episode. |

@UtakaSenpai This is my only real complaint about the episode. The whiplash from extreme doubt to immediate trust was annoying. If he feigned trust, that would've been one thing, but he poured out way too many feelings and too much info far too quickly. |

Amazing ep Sure Akira is quiet, but thank God that he isn't a lame mc. Kinda fast paced for a isekai, but I wasn't surprised that this gave sum slight eminence in the shadow vibes. Great animation so far. Commander a real one. I wonder who that hooded lady was. Perhaps she knows of the truth of the kingdom as well. Ik that hero was finna be dumb asl. Bruh, I was tryna see that shadow magic, but they bamboozled us. 10/10 |

😒 This Isekai looks promising, the plot is actually a bit different than usual Isekai, an Isekai like lord of mysteries and with good quality animation and the MC is not into harem or revenge or crazy like cid just a normal light novel loving guy who got himself stuck in an unfamiliar world and is trying to adapt to the world, his class is assassin so he have to kill people, as a normal human being killing people is not that easy since we have guilt and moral consciousness, So while being an assasin and solving the mysteries he's trying to get back to his family back at earth I bet this will be the anime of this season that has the best animation even above OPM |

Summoning an entire class is something new. Princess looks super sus and apparently just tricked the hero. Wow, this is kinda shit. I mean they literally just met yet the royal knight is talking about starting a coup against his king with the random stranger. MC randomly talks about killing someone, who so far has not even done anything wrong he knows of. But its isekai and tbh I eat that shit up anyway.. |

ZERO plot development. Just jumps from event to event at breakneck speed, as if they tried to cram 4 manga volumes into 1 episode. Will stick with it for a couple more episodes but, if it's all like this, it's a drop. Sadly, as it looks pretty and the animation is decent. |

Interesting start, will be keeping an eye on this one to see where it goes. Also not surprised how many people missed why he trusts this guy seemingly out of nowhere. He does say it out loud, but I guess not having him say "I trust you because" in front of the reason would make the average anime fan miss it. |

@Dust_Eyezz the commander was able to tell where Akira was baised on his body heat so he didnt show himself to a rando for no reason his only options were kill the commander, attempt to run from someone who could see through stealth, or try to make a favourable relationship with the guy. he first was suspicious of the commander and collected some information without giving any then decided to trust him after talking for a bit |
