This episode reminded me why i love Dr Stone so much, what an amazing story Inagaki and Boichi crafted mixed with passion and love you can feel from TMS about this series, frankly last scene could have been the end of the story and i would have been happy with it and that ending visual literally broke me, it's been a while since i got moved by an anime like this episode did this week,

This season might have had pacing problems and such but at it's core it's still Dr Stone and there's nothing else like it, long live Science users !

At least Suika survived but it's a big responsibility for her to revive everyone with her bad vision as well..poor girl 😭😭
Stanley was okay with letting Senku win knowing that his waifu Xeno will be revived lol
That was a beautiful change to the ed with Suika in it instead of Kohaku, Hyoga and Tsukasa..💖✨

This is peak dr stone. The best the series has been, hands down man what an episode.

The confidence that Senku had in his crew to come thru with the revival fluid and have the plan set in motion, when said “We aren’t assuming anything, they’re going to succeed.” It gave me chills because it shows the absolute faith he has in them just like they have in him. Compare his confidence in the end to Stanley and Xeno’s sheer look of terror as they realized suika stole the revival fluid lol.

“People like us could’ve ruled the world” yea and that’s where you went wrong Xeno, science isn’t supposed to be ruling anything. It’s supposed to make the world a better place and help people. Somewhere along the way, Xeno got lost and that’s why senku will always win.

Stanley aura farming my lighting a cigarette as he gets petrified is tuff lol

Speaking of Suika, the amount of faith that senku placed in arguably the weakest of the entire group was so cool. I felt bad for her being all alone and scared, but as she realized senku placed so much trust in her for a reason and that she can do this, I felt like a proud older brother by the end of the episode. We all believe in you girl!

The pressure’s on for Suika. She’s gotta basically revive the world single-handedly after the gang went with the last minute nuclear counterattack. At least she’s got that Senku determination. Keen to see how she makes more revival fluids or if she’ll be able to find more.

I’m a bit surprised this time the animals didn’t get petrified either. Didn’t they all get hit the first time around? Like the birds and everything? How do they avoid the beams? And what about like the little dog and their boar friend and all the other land animals?

@UtakaSenpai, it was explained early on that the petrification beam targeted specific species. They mentioned that the sparrows that had been petrified in modern-day were likely a test stage for Why-Man. Afterward, humanity was hit. Very likely that the petrification devices are calibrated to attack specific DNA models. Otherwise, there would have been no animals left the first time around.

Can't believe it. They really went for the method where everyone got petrified. Senku got shot again. It feels like it's a habit at this point. Poor guy. But it wasn't just him; basically everyone got mowed down by those gun-loving assholes. What happens to the bullets that stay inside them when they get petrified? I guess we'll never know.

But man, what a task Suika got assigned to. When I started the series back in 2019, I never could've predicted Suika out of all people would suddenly become the main character. But it fits so well. She's now the only human who's alive. And there's no easy way for her to bring everyone back. Fuck, that must be lonely as hell. Even the ED changed to only depict her. I got chills. It has been a long time since Dr. STONE made me feel like this. I'd say Science Future Part 2 has surpassed Part 1 by now. This feels like peak Dr. STONE. This episode went by so fast. I can't wait to see what Suika does next.

Okay Senku actually betting on the sound waves to destroy the elixir bottle and revive Suika was a genius idea and in the end it worked!! The issue is that Suika is alone with no mean to revive all the other ones, but she's not giving up fortunately, she's in survival Senku mode now, all alone ahaha.

I think I know what's gonna happen to Suika, I think it's very brilliant that the author create her as a very young character, it's such a well-planned story. Now she's gonna spend her youth (or longer) and all those knowledge she learn from her allies to revive humanity. Dr. Stone is unstoppable right now.

That seems to be the end of the escaping Stanley arc, in general one of the weaker Dr. Stone mini arcs I'd say with some rushed elements, and some side stuff like Ginro and Matsukaze being brought along didn't really amount to much BUT the final act of this arc has easily been the peak of the entire show so far, wow. These last 3 episodes have been fantastic and really make me remember why I adore this show so much.

I honestly wasn't expecting to tear up in this episode... Just seeing Suika crying all alone, with no one there to help her get food or shelter, she didn't deserve this :'(

Honestly, when they were setting up the plan, I didn't even think about it, but the reality is this one: Suika wakes up, and then what? It's not like she's going to be able to produce the revival fluid right away. Only if Luna didn't waste that last bottle, then Suika could revive at least one more person...

These last few episodes have been so intense. When I thought they had won last episode, Stanley and Xeno just show me wrong, and almost take custody of the last revival fluid. When they shot everyone down, even Suika, I was like "they did not just murdered a child", but Suika is the GOAT and was able to retrieve the bottles to Senku. They ended up only having one left, and left that one in that thingy they built that amplifies the sound, and the only one capable of reaching there, so that when the bottle breaks due to the sound waves, the revival fluid is poured on their statue, was Suika.
Suika is the real MVP here.

But let's not forget how sweet it was for Stanley to sacrifice his own life for Xeno, knowing well he will stay petrified forever, but by not shooting the bottle, he knows that Senku's team will eventually revive Xeno, since they need his knowledge to build a rocketship, and if he shot the bottle, maybe Xeno would never be revived again.
I don't know, but this episode was quite sentimental.

AND SUIKA'S DOG. I completely forgot that everyone else (the ones that stayed behind, the ones in that island) will also get petrified, and have to wait for Senku's team do revive them, again. The worst is that animals aren't affected by this, which means both the dog and that boar (was it a boar?) that always followed Suika will continue to age... At least they have each other, but will they be able to see Suika one last time? We don't know how many years have passed since Suika was petrified, but considering the vegetation that grew, probably a couple of years already.
This episode really ended on a depressive note.

I suspect that next episode they are just going to show us a grown Suika reviving either Senku or another member of the team, and that is going to hit hard. Maybe she will be able to find a lost revival fluid???
I was not ready for this honestly.

Also, they changed the ending to show Suika all alone, still with references to Kohaku, Tsukasa and Hyouga's sacrifices. That ending now hits way harder. It really is a "no man's world" now.

Suika mentions it herself that Senku was alone as well when he woke up.

But he didn't know there was a "Revival Method" while she knows there's a "Revival Method".

This lets her to try to be more composed and go through steps rather than worry.

Rest ofcourse we understand responsibility on her shoulder is heavy as not a Science person and Bad Vision.

Plus I believe the area where they are is of dangerous natural beings, something I wasn't worried when was introduced in this series as Senku was there with Treatment and preventive creams and medicines but that's going to be tough for a Kid.

Regardless, Tenacity of Mankind is one of the key lesson of Dr. Stone.

Senku's almighty gamble looks to have paid off, but with him getting shot, along with almost everyone else, the tension was overwhelming. Thanks to Suika's brave dash, she got the revival fluid to the tower just before the petrification beam arrived and got everyone. It was nice to see the the familiar faces from Japan and Treasure Island get some screentime as they did what they could to prepare themselves to getting petrified.

It does look like many years have passed, but thanks to Senku's setup, Suika was indeed revived. Her natural upbeat personality was in full force to begin with, but the stark reality of being alone with no sign of any remaining revival fluid lead to such a heartbreaking moment where she broke down crying. It's hard not to tear up when seeing her and also hearing her cry like that. =(

Thankfully, she did regain her composure and she's taking everything that she has learned from being with Senku and the other and is putting it to practice. Her determination on making sure that she can revive her friends is admirable. Who knows how long it'll take her, but I do hope she succeeds in her solo quest here.

Not to forget, the ED got an update focusing a lot more on Suika in place of Kohaku, Hyoga and Tsukasa. It was a really nice touch. =)

They activated the Medusa using the radio frequences Why Man constantly sends, that translates to that robotic Senku voice declaring the worlds diameter, as shown before in season 3, so in that regard, they couldn't just use the diameter they wanted, and had to rely on this "set" one.

Oh, for sure, no matter how long it takes, I have full faith on Suika, like Senku did when he asked her to stand below the revival fluid.

For real, in my opinion, the first 7 episodes were probably some of the weakest in Dr. Stone, but these last 3 episodes have been absolute peak Dr. Stone. It's crazy how much this season changed in a matter of 3 episodes.

This is so true, I don't know if the author had this idea ever since he introduced Suika, but it was really smart for her to be the one, considering she's the youngest character, and maybe we are now going to see her grow up, but still be close in age to the rest of the characters (this if it only takes 10 or so years, it would be depressing if it ends up taking her whole life, so I hope that isn't the case, Suika deserves the best)

@UaEfAlCoN83 Yea, Senku could have given instructions to petrify only the North + South America, and Joel would be the one to make the decision to use WhyMan's voice to petrify the whole world, as a last resort. But according to what Senku said at the beginning of this episode, the plan was for the whole world from the start.

Also let's think about what would happen if they petrify only the Americas: the people in Japan wouldn't know what happened, nor would they be able to save the rest, since they didn't have the know-how to build a new ship and find them. So they would survive for God knows how many years, and when the main group came back, they'd find a completely new generation

What's great about this episode is how it radically shifts the focus from everything we've had in this season at this point. The chase and the military tactics take a break once the petrification beam hits and now Suika is all alone in this new world. She basically has to find a way to find more fluid in order to be able to get everyone back together. Her cry is genuine, imagine having to do that at that age with no instructions, little food and in the wilderness.

This was the part in the manga that fully grabbed and we only have a few episodes left. Brace yourselves.

PS: Poor pets, they were left all alone as well.

@Marmotzel Ik this I was telling the other user that they were forced also to use WhyMan's voice so they didn't have control over the diameter to begin with

and I would say based on the speed maybe Senku expected the whole world to be petrified or he expected that the Medusa would be takes and that they might need WhyMan's voice

And true having people who know you in Japan is better than having new generations

The whole time all I could think of was "please don't cut to showing the dog dying of old age or Suika being a grown up after being revived, I'm an emotional mess from of all that death", Suika crying missing everyone and then simply asking for a hug from Kohaku did too much emotional damage.

So this episode was okay. Why? Well, it felt more like a glorified slide show; the transition from everything being maintained into the pure wilderness was a tad too long, and I honestly expected a little something more after the last episode was such a banger.

We finally see why exactly the ending song is called 'No Man's World' and the special ending with just Suika is just heartbreaking. But Suika literally could not be a better choice for this role as she is the youngest one and the literal future of this world. I can't wait to see her do some science and presumably be all grown up by the time she figures out how to make revival fluid
