Nukitashi the Animation Episode 1 Discussion

I’ve watched a lot of eroges and ecchi anime before, and I usually try to stay hopeful, even when others say it's not worth it.
But for the first time, I might actually be the one saying this anime isn’t worth watching—at least not if it keeps going like this.

Sure, the animation is solid and the character designs are fine, but the story is really weak.
The main character is a proud virgin who ends up on a so-called "pleasure island"—yet refuses to do anything intimate, choosing instead to isolate himself and fantasize?

Then his sister only wants to be with him, And he still refuses, not for moral reasons, but just to stay a virgin?

If he doesn't want to take part in anything, why even stay on the island? What’s the point of resisting something you willingly walked into?

Also, for a show that’s supposed to be mature or +18, all we get is constant dialogue about "sex" and heavily censored scenes where the characters are still fully clothed.
Where’s the actual fanservice? It feels like it’s all bark and no bite.

Maybe I’m being too critical based on just one episode, and maybe it’ll get better—but right now, it’s just not doing it for me, and i really miss the old days of DxD and Redo of healer.

Calm down nipple people, and yes he is saying exactly what you think he is saying, he drew a lot of nipples for the heroines of the show, but there aren't a lot in episode 1. The marketing tactic was obvious to me, but I guess some people didn't get it. The content is going to ramp up from here on out, and the biggest reason they didn't go all out in episode 1 is that they needed that first episode to air on all TV stations without just being a picture of the sea the entire time to market the BDs.

Having read the common route and katagiri's route of the VN, there are a lot of missing details and is also rushed. Katagiri's character design does not have the same spunk and her red highlights looks like a mop. I want to like to anime because it gatekeeps tourists but I have to be honest here... doesn't look high quality.
