| This show is just pure vibes man what a cozy watch. Especially since it’s a thunderstorm moving through the area today, very fitting. This went by in the blink of an eye, Fuji was just meeting Kii and her dad at the park and then it’s over π So TIL technically our furry friend isn’t a raccoon and that Tanuki are a breed of dog, specially the Japanese raccoon dog. Very interesting. Today’s episode was a nice way to play with our expectations because Kii is the calm and relaxed one while Fuji’s dad acts like a little kid when he sees little man lmao. I believe Kii was voiced by an actual child actress too so congrats to her! It was sweet seeing Fuji sorta becoming an older sister figure to her briefly. Hopefully we see more of them. It’s nice how close Fuji and her parents are too. She’s at that perfect distance where she has her own place and can do what she wants, while being able to run into her parents at the park or having them over for dinner. Plus she’s no longer alone at home because she’s got the tanuki Sweet episode, enjoyed it, need two of these a week man lol |

| So fricking comfy man. Kii is great man, I thought she would be loud but no, shes pretty quiet actually and I like that. Now the DAD? HE IS AWESOME. Love the guy so much, such a funny guy in general and just really nice as well. I'm gonna guess that You doesn't like getting pictures taken of him, makes sense though. You and Fuji are such a cute duo, love them so much. 5/5 |

As for the father, he honestly made me feel pretty awkward… yelling because of a *dog*… For your information, in Arab and Islamic culture generally, dogs are viewed negatively. People don’t usually keep them as pets, nor do we touch them casually. So seeing something like that just gave me a *really weird* feeling… Anyway! | No rain in this weeks episode, but watching this on rainy days is definitely a vibe. Good thing we don't lack these in Germany. So far we're in two for two. Ultra cute  Nice to see that You and Kinako became friends after a rocky start. |

| I like the dualities of reactions when meeting You for the first. Ones just rolling with it, and others just applying a little of common sense. I understand Fuji just decided to go out, The father is super cool, but at same time have too much energy for her. Glory to efficient public transportation! Easy to visit. |

| Psychologically and neurologically, this is like the perfect answer and antidote after watching episodes in the week of other current seasonals like Clevatess, Arknights season 3, and everything else infinitely more tense, thrilling, gripping, and aiming to induce other strong emotions and reactions. It's like you have your fight-or-flight response activated (well, if you get really cognitively/emotionally sucked into shows and their world as I do and I'm sure some others do) and this series gently and smoothly toggles to the off switch. Still need more aural pornography in the form of pure ASMR moments like in the first episode though; another pluvial deluge for the senses. It always cracks me up when in these peaceful Slice of Life anime a harmless character who may just be a bit loud or clingy or pushy or lazy or silly or something is first introduced briefly through an attempted audience misdirect as if he or she is like a criminal stalker or violent drunken thug or something. I pretty much knew that the worst he'd turn out being is maybe slightly rude because this isn't the type of series where there was going to be any serious problem with a character like that. As it turned out, he wasn't really even that and was basically just energetic and goofy, looking to dote on his daughter and her new pet a little. Also, I wonder if the inability to produce a clear photograph has an actual explanation relating to the tanuki's true nature, like because it has some mystical and supernatural origin and properties or something, clear pictures physically can't be taken and will just automatically blur like the faces of those condemned and marked for death in The Ring in any picture or video image. Or if it's a subtle joke which went over my head or reference to some actual real life minor phenomenon. |

| Really wholesome and fluffy episode with the two dogs playing with her father and the loli. The loli seems like a foreigner. Also she's literally voiced by an irl loli. One of the rare instances. This is also the third time I thought a character was voiced by the voice actor of that cat from Suzume but apparently not. Does all japanese children just sound the same or something lol. Anyway good to see the mom as well. She seems like a nice and caring person as well. But what was bro doing at the end there, too desperate. Also why was he avoiding camera? Died from one and got reincarnated as that tanuki I mean dog? And wdym you are not sweet girl. |

| Not as good as the first episode (that one was on it's league of it's own in mood and melancholic aura). This was more standard comedic. Hope the rest are more similar to the first episode. |

| Wasn't too sure about this after Episode 1, but it now seems like there's no catch: this is a simple, pretty, relaxing anime. I would be all over this if I was working long hours and just stressed out every evening. Really liked how the lady and her mom reacted to the tanuki stuck in the trash bin. They just stared for a bit, and one of them got up and pulled him out. Also, I liked how Kii sounded like an actual child. It's cute and feels a little more grounded. |

| actual proper child in a anime voiced by kid va and not someone doing a kid voice crazy i was caught off guard by how smart and proper she was lol better social skills than Fuji she even was having a heart to heart with her dad is a goof turns out nobody knows what a tanuki is ! this has all been very comfy i save this for days if i dont have a lot to watch which uh is kinda hard this season |

| A very funny yet relaxing episode. Love the reactions of You when they meet Kinako-chan, and of Fuji's father when he finally meets You! I wonder why Fuji keeps saying things like "I'm not a sweet person", or "I love the darkness" (from ep. 1). Lookiing foward to ep. 3 |
