| If only this series was also as loyal towards its source material as Yakushi is towards the source he read back then, and brought everything to reality by playing Deathmecia against the dragon keepers. Seriously, at this point it feels like this adaptation is confused over what should they show and what should they skip. We waited two whole episodes for Red and Suzukiri’s confrontation, just it to be fast-forwarded like every other segment that has happened till now. Suzukiri is related to the divine artifacts, we know, but yeah, what’s beyond that? They revealed her actual name and that’s it? Sheesh, for once they shouldn't have jumped around and took their time but nah. Anyway man, I doubt Aizome is dead, and I doubt Yakushi would continue being the menace, even though it looks like dragon keepers are done for now. You see, Hisui and D will stop him in the end, after all. Now, whatever they're going to do with the finale. |
| Manga readers say this season shouldn’t have been ended on the IRA arc, but they don’t tell what they would’ve have done differently. I guess, it’s because any other option is worse. I look at this season and see that there is no way to finish this season earlier: it just wouldn’t have been satisfying. The problem is not with how many chapters were adapted, but how. One of the reasons I loved S1 and S2E1-8 is because of how fast-paced it was. It reminded me of Summertime Render, to be honest. Of course, manga readers were unhappy with some details being omitted, but I, as an anime only, didn’t feel anything wrong with the show. Until the final battle of the season. Epic and hype events pass by so fast that they don’t have any weight, it is almost incomprehensible. I went to compare anime and manga and had a thought that if this fight was 6 episodes long, not 4, it would’ve been as digestible as the rest of the series. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but that’s 1 more episode every 2 episodes. However, I realize that 14 episode seasons don’t exist, so if this were a problem, they could have skipped S2E1 and put the last scene from there (the one with Hisui) into the beginning of the new 1st episode (Chidori introduction is not that relevant to the plot). And voila, we have a nice little 13 episode season. Would it have been good? That’s unknown, but it certainly would’ve been better. |

| Like I said before, even if you’re anime only the pacing in this is atrocious, but at this point you just have to accept this is its own experience, separate from the manga. Why they’re going at such breakneck speed, I couldn’t tell you, but I still enjoy it for what it is. Essentially a highlight reel of the manga. This episode had a LOT to unpack. We got to see Yakushi and Angel’s mother backstory. Falling in love with a monster and being ostracised by society will tend to make you very sympathetic to their plight. The great irony of it all is him turning into Deathmecia and attacking the city is literally just gonna make people hate monsters even more and become even bigger fans of the rangers lol. Note that his Deathmecia is way stronger than the original because as a kid, Yakushi saw him as being badass. Yumeko screentime raaaaah. Seeing her play red like a fiddle is so cool. My gorgeous badass queen. D vs Angel turning into a game of hide and go seek as Aizome is there deadly serious looking to avenge Blue had me fucking crying bruh 😭 they acting like this a game when this is her entire reason for existing. Every single day has led her to this moment, getting revenge on D. This fight is the culmination of so much pain and suffering for her. Next episode will be good, but again if you’re lost here, just read it man. |

This blue loli is so annoying man just die. Blue chan blue chan every fucking time jumping to conclusions. D was almost done for. Thank you mommy Uskubo for saving the day🙌 She looks so hot😭😭 Yeah she is half monster everyone have figured that out a while back. I am not questioning anyone but falling in love with that thing, Yakushi taste is too "refined". Not gonna question how Uskubo was conceived at all. But whatever Yakushi cooked with his fantasy is fucking wild. Obviously terrorism aside he humbled those dragon keeper real good. Biggest elephant in the room Shuzukiri aka Muko aka dragon priestess is the reason for their power so they can't kill her huh. Makes sense. She was kinda ify character but now her cause seems more rootable. Also as expected Hisui kinda knew about D and she also understands him. Legit best character in the anime. D and Hisui against Deathmacia going to be good.  Hopefully a banger ending but this series always subverts expectation so never know. Pacing is always a mess but if they land the ending I will still be satisfied as I just love this story. |

| Lmao that kid looking for Urabe looks like the bird guy from AOT. Ah, so Yakushi is sad that his "wife" is dead. Understandable. I'm not saying that becoming a huge terrorist because your family member was unjustly killed is justified. I'm just saying that I understand. It's just sad that he had to drag his daughter down with him. At least she lives up to her name "Angel". I was half-expecting her to revive herself with angel wings only to see it actually happening. It made me burst out laughing. Who tf is the guy with Suzukiri. He's not the red we know. I know there was an impostor of some kind but who tf is he? The OG red seems to be with the others fighting Deathmecia. Pretty cool name tbh. Also, Suzukiri is a dragon priestess? What does that mean? Why are there so many copies of her in the first place? Do they use the copies to make weapons or something? Why did red order Suzukiri to destroy them? Wasn't Suzukiri enemies with the dragon keepers in the first place? We learned Yumeko's "real" name. It’s Muko. Means something like "other place". Ok. But why was she going by a fake name anyway? Also, doesn’t she have a sister? What's up with that? There are so many questions and the anime doesn't answer any of them. If anything, it just added more questions. That blue girl is kinda annoying. Just let it go, girl. Blue isn't coming back. In the end, Deathmecia beat the shit out of the keepers. So, now it's up to Hisui and D to save the day. I knew it. Hisui does know D's secret. Honestly, Hisui is the best character of the show and the only reason I keep coming back to it. I'm glad she'll get some focus in the last episode. The pacing of the second half was so shit but I hope at least the last episode will be decent... |

| I feel like this show could have been (almost) masterpiece. However, the rushed pacing completely shattered that possibility. So many things happen without proper setup. I hope the manga handled it all better. |

| The most annoying character goes to Aizome. That move that Usukubo did was cool though. Hisui is awesome. She’s had an abundance of screen time and I’m not mad at that. I’m hoping for a solid next episode. |

| See? Messing with the order of things just makes everything confusing and weird lol. All of this should’ve happened earlier, but they changed stuff around. And it’s hilarious how betrayal is popping up left and right in this final stretch D is mad at Deathmecia, so now we just have to wait for the final episode to see if they’ll stick to the original or mess it up again. |

| If Red thought Aizome would mess up the Keepers' group pose at the start, surely now he'd have less of an issue now that her silhouette is a little bigger, right? Hisui stonks skyrocketing right before the finale is pretty poetic for a season starring her, and seeing the reunion of the OG plushie puppet preview trio brought a tear to my eye.  |
| If I understand this right Yumeko is the original and she was experimented upon and cloned to create the Dragon artifacts and the equipment used by the Ranger force most likely as well. This must be her motivation to destroy the Ranger force and I don't blame her. |

| one of the more visually impressive sequences in A WHILE for this season especially with Aizome's expressions in this episode, still doesn't save itself from the horrendous pacing of this arc. just seeing how it ends with one last episode left. might read the manga in its place after cause this season was just a travesty near the level of TPN season 2, as an anime-only to both. |

| So much information at once: Yumeko is a priestess, the power of dragons, Angel shows her power from her invader side, and Hisui considers D her partner, even though he's an invader.... Damn, the pacing is wild. I've moved on to the manga (haven't quite caught up yet), but I already realize that the adaptation skips a lot of things. Still, it's still super entertaining. Yakushi... well, his taste in girls is beyond weird, but hey, Angel came out of it, so maybe it's not all bad. Yakushi perfectly illustrates how dangerous it is when an obsessed fan acquires the power to turn his delusions into reality, especially about how his favorite series "should" have ended after being cancelled. As an invader, it wrecked Dragon Guardians. The pacing is absolute chaos, but I love every second of it to see where it takes us. |

| The bond between the Usukubo family is undeniable, given how much the extent of how Yakushi has his utmost support from his daughter, as much as Deathmacia is now a reality that's quite the job for the Dragon Keepers, except for Red Ranger realizing that Yumeko is more than just her size as the Dragon Priestess and the last remaining remnant of the Suzukiri clan. That said, it's quite the insanity betwen Usukubo and Fighter D, only for Aizome to come in and swarn the latter for killing Blue Keeper. And worst of all, utilizing the replica Divine Artifact that was meant for Usukubo to relentlessly kill Fighter D until he's done for good. However, Usukubo's real power of the Angel being able to disarm Aizome in her place, that's something. The Dragon Keepers really have been defeated by Deathmacia, and Yakushi's objective is quickly becoming a reality. The only ones left are Fighter D and Hisui to redeem not just themselves, but to take down the final boss altogether. Will the ending save the adaptation overall? It's still too soon to tell... |

Falling in love with a monster and being ostracised by society will tend to make you very sympathetic to their plight. The great irony of it all is him turning into Deathmecia and attacking the city is literally just gonna make people hate monsters even more and become even bigger fans of the rangers lol. Note that his Deathmecia is way stronger than the original because as a kid, Yakushi saw him as being badass.

D vs Angel turning into a game of hide and go seek as Aizome is there deadly serious looking to avenge Blue had me fucking crying bruh 😭 they acting like this a game when this is her entire reason for existing. Every single day has led her to this moment, getting revenge on D. This fight is the culmination of so much pain and suffering for her. Next episode will be good, but again if you’re lost here, just read it man.

| hmm... So it looks like all the original Dragon Keepers were from "Temples and Shrines"... And the original Dragon Keepers' powers are "inherited" (passed down in-clan) And Yumeko is the last of her clan. This mean all the other clans are all genocided by the Humans and only kept the weakest of the original Ranger alive so they can use her to make more fake Divine Weapons. (how they beat the stronger rangers? easy, by blackmailing the rangers they'll kill their clan if they don't sacrifice themselves, and once the stronger rangers are dead and turned into weapons, the Humans then use their own protector to kill the clan and thus making so there won't be any rebellion. This is actually a true fact taken by real world history, and still currently going) And as the clans are all dead, it means the Dragon Gods can no longer pass down their powers to anymore original Rangers. (as to the comment from previous episode that said "we've killed all the originals") . This is so fucked up... Personally I am actually sorta rooting for the Monsters here, they're indeed... the "victims". |
