So it ended happily after all which is no surprise. Still it was pretty tense towards the end, Kureha could not handle her loss well. It's nice that the main characters were finally able to be honest with their feelings. The needed some serious encouragement tho. Personally i think they make a great couple Himari doesn't have a easy personality but Yuu has been hanging out with her for a long time so it's clear he doesn't mind her personality. Yuu himself has some personality flaws as well but i think Himari covers that perfectly. Relationships are also about being able to know each other's personalities know each other's good and bad parts and be able to work things out with each other. If you can't that your relationship won't last. |

Oh no… I’m supposed to care about Himari getting all depressed over… what exactly again? Legit no reason because we know somehow someway Yuu is gonna fix this before the episode is over. But sure, let’s spiral into melodrama over nothing. And wow, what a great tonal shift from sad, brooding Himari to a full-on shot of Enocchi’s ass. I know this show is a dogpile of ASS, but that is not the ass I was referring to. Anyway, once again, the only semi-tolerable character in this mess of a show is carrying it on his back. Shinji out here helping both Yuu and Enocchi like he’s everyone’s exhausted therapist. Props. Then we get a speech about how much Himari lovessss Yuu... Seriously, I respect Enocchi for even caring about either of these two annoying fucks, because JESUS. AND YET AGAIN, THE ONLY TOLERABLE CHARACTER, MY FUCKING GOAT SHINJI, COMING IN CLUTCH AND PAYING HIMARI’S DEBT… Well, not really, but it’s the thought that counts. And just like that, it’s as if nothing happened. Kureha? Who’s that? She didn’t even exist, apparently. Most unnecessary arc ever Almost as unnecessary as that final scene with Yuu telling Himari the same crap he’s been spouting the entire show… LIKE WHO THE FUUUUUCKKKKKK CARESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Also, one last shoutout to Shinji for stopping them from almost kissing at the end. Seriously, nobody wanted to see that. So once again, for like the fifth time this episode and final time for the whole show, ARIGATO SHINJI. Seriously, in a season with that gooner trash Takamine, I didn't think a show could reach it's levels of dogshit but oh boy did this reach, and at times, surpass it. Never show the light of day to this show again... it was too much already to give this an anime, so just let it go. Also also, this episode looked like actual horseshit visually. Can't WAIT to see what this team cooks up for OPM S3. |

This seems like the most troubled Yuu felt this season since he knows Himari is leaving Tokyo. Felt like this episode was a long time coming after everything she and Yuu went through. I kinda like how she also leaned on Rion for emotional support. I mean, after all this time though. Feels like this show didn't overstay its welcome at 12 episodes. Yuu was able to tell his feelings in the most Yuu way possible. Too bad their kiss got interrupted but oh well. |

Pretty much the definition of mid after an exciting start with potential. But fairs, that was a decent ending. Himari and Yu finally took that next step. It’s absolutely hilarious that even in an episode where Yu and Himari get together, Rion is still best girl. She’s the catalyst that got them free from Kurea’s scheme π I still don’t like Himari and Rion deserves better than the NTR nonsense this show devolved into, but this was a decent(could’ve been a lot better) ending. I think Shinji saving the day at the end was cool and all, but he pretty much started the whole thing to begin with. The best way to write this would’ve been having Yuu and Himari actually change Kurea’s mind on their own. As it’s written, Kurea’s just a pos who only backed down because Shinji paid off the loan. How did this develop Himari and Yu at all? They’re basically the same creatively as they were at the start of the app. I mean fairs it’s seasonal romcom and the whole appeal is the ship and fanservice, but that’s some subpar writing. As I said, Kurea stocks went even lower. She’s completely irredeemable. I thought maybe the author would try and say this was she and Yuu’s sister way of making Yuu become better at his craft, but nah she was legit gonna have Himari leave and split them up all because her dumbass took out a loan because a teenager was having a hissy fit lol. Dumbass deserved to lose money. Yuu’s sister is also a piece of work. All the older siblings besides Hibari are shitty. Honestly at this point, Shinji got rejected by Kurea and Yuu is with Himari, so Shinji and Rion might as well try things out lol. Had potential, fizzled out, still enjoyed because of Rion. Picture of a 6/10. |

Peak ending, rarity for the Romcom to have the main couple end up in one season of anime. I like how this serious with the story even with questionable decision with little to to no filler. Characters are really immature but it can be solve through the span of time and exp, make sense since they're just in puberty phase. The adult tho... Overall this anime is 8/10 |

The Summer break that confirms Himari going to Tokyo with Kureha, which Makishima is CLEARLY happy at and the loser being Rion 'coz he's been trying to help her win the romance game, and even at the end of the day, he's speechless for how strong Rion's will is. Still, against the backdrop of romance vs. creating his accessories, Makishima helms the brutal truth towards Yu, which he has to play the villain act to get him to finally move his ass towards her before she leaves for good. Even Rion does the same Devil's Advocate for Himari, which she continues to vehemently deny her feelings and thus allowing Rion to get close to Yu as possible, which of course, is a clear and blatant lie to support her rival, even if the flower accessories store gets in the way. Of course, Makishima being the ultimate Devil to pay off Himari's debt with the help of Hibari, everything was quite the farce of a loan that as he puts it "can be paid off in cash". And while she paid the price paying for good food for everyone, Yu choosing to abandon his dream for romance, albeit taking THIS long to finally realize what he lost sight of, it has been all about the focus that he wholly needs, and the dream is not complete without her. With the tulip flower seed (which meant eternal love) clearly signifying Yu's love for Himari, these two are the lovebirds of towards Rion and Makishima's drama. What a roundabout way of doing a romcom so extreme, it feels as if this is fictional love on the docks. Not that I can recommend this though... |

It has somewhat interesting concept but plagued by mediocre execution resulting in poor outcome. Also, can anime industry stop producing tsundere character... wait, what I upset the most is the tsundere character that's not 100% commit to tsundere personality. |

Well thats that. Alright so, blond hair dude just had to pay off Kureha's debt and thats how Himari ends up not going to Tokyo? Alright then. To be fair, the ending was pretty good. Really glad that Yuu was honest with his feelings and ended up choosing Himari instead of his dream. Though, he still needs to work on some things but, I'm sure he'll fix them eventually. I honestly like the idea of Yuu and Himari dating but, Enomoto is RIGHT THERE. She deserves better to be honest. The ending scene with Yuu and Himari on the ground about to kiss was odd until blonde guy and Enomoto showed up which made things pretty funny. Overall, it was fine at best. If Enomoto wasn't there, it would have been worse. 4/5 |

This wrapped up a little too neatly. It felt really rushed just to give a nice bowtie to the series and honestly, it feels as though the side characters (especially with Rich Boy) doing all the work moreso than the actual main couple. What do I know? Maybe I'm wrong. |

Guess this anime didn't do much on MAL which is acceptable. I'm not basing my enjoyment on this and others tho. I like how Rion's favorite count just dropped tremendously. Guess people realized how much of a cuck she is. Lol |

Man, it would've been so poetic if Yuu got the last "Bwa ha!". Himari's extra soft one was admittedly pretty adorable though. Hibari is still the MVP and only likable adult. |

I've certainly seen worse ( there was one such just last Winter & we ALL KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT, show with the most annoying tsundere EVER) but I've seen many better, too. So while I enjoyed parts of it, I'll soon probably just forget it ever existed & never revisit it. |

Yuu tells Shinji "I've already decided to be with Himari!" Himari quote "I just wish I were born as someone loved by Yu." Rion "I'll let you borrow him until he opens his store. But when I come home, give him to me." Himari "Yu was the one who discovered me." Yuu chase Himari, "But all I ever wanted was for you to see me!" Makishima backstab Kureha, "You three's rom-com does the trick." Yuu tells Himari his real goal "I'm dreaming even bigger from now on. Love, my dream, my own store..." Yuu confession to Himari "Will you let me be selfish and stand by me forever?" Himari ask Yu "Yu, do you love me?" Yuu tells Himari " I love you." Yuu and Himari should get married perfect couple. Looking forward to season 2 next year. |

i just don't like how any of the characters developed throughout this show, it just feels like everything they've been through has resulted in no real change. they were bad at communicating with each other to start with, and they still are; he struggled to improve with himari as a model at the start, and is the same skill now. also, i genuienly could not tell if makishima was his friend or not; i dont care if the show said he was, it did not feel like it. maybe im just dumb |

Aww, that was such a cute finale. Yuu running after his love to tell her to not go away before she takes the train is a big classic in romances but it always work for me. Himari shy version of her 'pfft' after Yuu finally and clearly told her, while looking her in the eyes, 'I love you' was so adorable and easily my favorite moment of the whole show. The friends helping them is also a classic move in romances but also always work for me, it was pretty fun to see. Overall the show had its qualities (Yuu/Himari relationship, the comedy, Himari's big bro, Rion's kindness...) and its flaws (Rion is convincing as a friend but not so much as a love interest imo, didn't like Rion's big sister, the show probably lacks some good secondary characters besides Himari's big bro, the drama was good but did not always exactly put me at the edge of my seat as it might be a little bit too predictable that Yuu and Himari are always going to end up together anyway and no matter what). I enjoyed it enough to say it's one of my favorite romances/romcoms of the last couple of years (along with Giji Harem and the Angel Next Door) but I can't say it comes close to being one of my favorite romcoms ever. Still, I'll give it a very solid 7 (might even have given it a 8 if not for the last arc who was not the most convincing imo). |

Honestly, I wanted to like this episode more, but it feels like the script goes out of its way to prevent the story from having any real impact. This whole situation with Kureha ended up being a poorly disguised excuse to push Yuu back into his “growth arc,” completely ignoring everything he had already shown up to this point. Himari going to Tokyo “just because,” Makishima showing up again like he’s the official villain of the universe and solving everything with money… it turned into a theater of the absurd. It feels like the characters have no real agency. things happen because the writer needs them to happen, not because the characters would actually do those things. And the worst part: the resolution of the confession was dropped in so poorly and with such bad timing that it completely lost its emotional weight. It had potential, but it was wasted to fit into a plot that was already all over the place. In the end, Rion and Hibari held up what little there was to hold onto. But overall? A well-meaning mess, poorly executed. |

Errrr…….. So we just went through an unnecessary drama?? I wish it was "You're wasting your potential here but I see where your passion lies so I'm letting it go" type of resolution. Jeez do you need to be provoked before you accept that you love somebody?? Huh? Rion as a character - completely unnecessary. She didn't really serve any purpose in the show except your generic second female character. We could take her out and nothing will really change. Outside of Yuu, there's nothing to her apart from whatever we're told about her daily routine. Shinji was an interesting character in the start but just faded away. Now he's just an annoying character who just loves blabbing and nothing else. Extremely forgettable show with spineless characters and a rushed ending that leaves you disappointed. This anime frustrated me lol. It had the potential in the beginning and dropped the ball so hard. 5/10 |

So, that's all. Himari wins, sorta... Kinda? In any case, Shitsumon, Koi tte Nan deshou ka? Awesome catchy OP song. Next best thing? Shinji, what a legend. I didn't like the drama, the thing with dreams and whatnot. But I kind of expected it, since this is a rom-com of that type, after all. It was frustrating, it was nice, it was infuriating, but above all, it was funny. Can't complain too much. Everyone here knows which one was the best girl, even with her insisting too much on Yu to keep both girls. Rion was the one who wouldn't be mad at all with Yu making a harem with her and Himari (and perhaps Shinji because bros). It was crazy, but it goes to show most weirdly how "strong" she is for allowing that somehow. I didn't like that too much, but I guess she does not want to lose them both, a typical thing in this kind of series where the guy is the one who needs to choose between two friends who can't live without each other. And speaking of Yu, yeah... That was the most frustrating part. As usual, it took him 12 episodes, and almost a fist fight with his bro, to finally make him understand what was the thing he was feeling. You could have taken out the element of Kureha, and the business and all, and he might still have thought of Himari as his best friend, until some Shinji beat the F out of him and made him understand again what his feelings truly are. I normally gave anyone in this situation a pass in these romcoms, just to enjoy the story... But damn... At least Kureha went out with a lot of money... And Hibari. Those two will F*** a lot!! And that was good. |
©2025 LaczPro What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway). And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea). |

I left quite a lengthy review about this anime, suffice it to say I agree with people here. Story was quite average, what truly make this anime shine are the characters, their relationships and all the drama around them. And boy, it was quite a ride. I don't remember anime making me this much angry in years. If this get S2 one day I would be very surprised, but I would still watch it. |

Yeah, that final dramatic arc really didn't lead to too much and there's so many better ways for that realisation in the end to come about. Enomoto dug her up grave very assuredly too, I get being nice and all but doing that in a love triangle is a spell for disaster xD. Bwe-he-hee dere-version is something else though! Purple tulip signifying eternal love is a nice touch to graduate from best friend status to almost-girlfriend phase. Not bad. 6/10 from here. Going to miss the banger Op! |

Guys, this anime is trash. Not even worth commenting on the miserable ending. I’ve written a review of the anime—please give it a read. I’ll add a few points here, and don’t forget to leave emojis to encourage me to write more reviews. https://myanimelist.net/reviews.php?id=561867 I judged this anime after just 6 episodes, and honestly, I had foresight—my decision was correct. The anime is bad on so many levels, full of contradictions, and ugh, if I start listing them, I’ll just waste your time and mine. But let me be positive—we’re finally done with this show, right? The animation did improve compared to the early episodes, and episode 10 was actually pretty good. Other than that, my rating remains the same. I originally gave it a 6/10, but now I’m dropping it to 3/10. It was hugely disappointing… I regret watching it, and felt like I was being forced to sit through it out of obligation. Thanks to everyone who read my comments over these 12 weeks! Have a great day, all of you. |

Yeah I was worried about their relationship in the previous moments, but I'm happy with the way they ended the case well. Kureha's appearance was like the final boss they had to fight lol. Even so I also didn't expect Makishima to do this, I mean you wouldn't think he's one of the characters who has a big influence on this case. Still I salute Rion's optimism even from the start, like I feel proud of her and honestly she deserves more time by Yuu's side. Nice ending, the case has been solved and this is better than I imagined. ![]() |

I went in with the title alone. It was a disappointment in how it was handled. I was hoping it was about two people wanting to get in a relationship, but certain circumstances were preventing them. The majority of the people were in favor or didn't object to them getting together. What was funny, the biggest antagonist in the series was Himari herself. She brought Rion and Yuu together, and when they got close, most of the time, it was her who pushed Yuu away. I guess you can say it was tragically funny? I can say I gave it a try. |

Sweaty Rion getting up in the morning. Approved. Satchel of money in the face. Chad move. Still, it took four of them to beat Kureha. I might take her on as an Evil Lieutenant and Mistress. Never having I seen such a collection of self sabotaging bakas among the main and core supporting cast. They did well and truly earn all their frustrations. 11.5 episodes of of 'we are dumbshits' them mostly resolved by a few words. Well, the least they could have done for us was go a little further with PDA at the end. |

So to sum this episode up in the most modern day way possible after Hima and Yuu got smoked last ep this episode Shinji and Rion found both of them and rage baited them into getting back together, Then Shinji and Hibari aura farmed their way past Kureha and got her to back off. What an episode. In all seriosness it was a good episode, wrapped the show up fine and I thought the last few minutes were really cute and funny. Essentially the moral of the last episode is, Life isn't so serious live a bit and make memories. I think in general this was a good anime, it very VERY slightly exceeded my expectations. It helped the cast was somewhat small, which made for some good moments. I for a time hated Hima and Yuu but grew to really enjoy them. Shinji and Hibari are the goats though. A very low 8/10 |

Toxic characters (most of them) with no chemistry whatsoever, forced drama just for the sake of it, cringe-inducing comedy bits, you name them. But somehow it still makes more sense than Kurakon, which was abominably horrible, so I give it 3/10 |

Enomoto proving once again why she's the best girl. In more ways than one. In the end, she was the reason Yu and Himari could still stay together. She wants things to be "fair". She's too pure. She feels too good for Yu. But I can't complain too much about Yu wanting to be with Himari. After all, these two have spent way too long together, so separating them feels cruel. This "going after the heroine to stop her from leaving the town" thing is so cliche bruh. They did not have to show Yu running to go to the station. He could've just taken a taxi or something. This was way too dramatic for no reason. Though that could probably sum up this entire anime. Many anime fans let their first impressions judge the characters forever, and rarely notice developments and change their minds. Himari was shitty before but at least she realized her mistakes and tried to own up for it. The way she tried doing it was foolish because it'd probably only hurt her and Yu in the long run, but that's where Rion and Makishima came to help them. Yu and Himari owe them a lot. I'd like to see how these two further develop but the show's already over. Judging by the ending, Yu and Himari don't seem like "best friends" anymore. They actually became lovers. So, at least the show ended well. I don't think an anime like this will get a second season. If by some miracle it does, I'm not sure if I'll watch it. I liked the flower accessory business side, but it was too melodramatic for my taste. |

I always thought the only solution is to paid off Himari's debt to Kureha, but I never knew it would be Shinji who step up... anyway, I knew both Yuu and Himari need more push before they can see the truth and made the right decision, and I am just glad they have such a good friends, but honestly they drag this on for way too long. |

Considering how much of a poor taste the previous episode left me with, I'm sort of relieved that this episode was able to end on a mostly happy note, although it doesn't fully do enough to change how I view the support cast much, with the exception still being Hibari. Shinji, for once, was a big help. He was able to ignite the fire within Yuu so he could spring into action to help Himari and he was at it once again to shut down Kureha's plan thanks to him paying off the loan. As for Rion, I really liked how she was able to confront Himari and bring out what she truly feels about her situation like a true friend would do. While I still prefer Himari since she's a funny, but flawed gremlin, Rion has grown on me quite a bit over the last few episodes. Plus, the fanservice shot of her at the start with her underwear line showing through her shorts was pretty hot. Overall, I'm not really sure how I would rate this series. The visuals were fine most of the time, the OP song was catchy and fun and the story premise was enjoyable until it got a bit too serious when it came to the episode involving the bratty student and her delusions about Yuu's accessorises gaining her true love failed, which led to her dragging his reputation down due to her blind hatred. I see most drama in real life to be forced due to how humans react, but this was a bit hard to take, even for my standards. I still had fun with this series, but it didn't hit the potential that I thought it could've hit. |

They fucking did it! Danjoru best final episode 10/10 after it made me a bit scared it previous. I'm crying tears of happiness over this. Might even be one of the most satisfying first season endings ever, hope they make second one, but I'm honestly happy if they just leave it here too. This anime not only had, amazing visuals, but also nice little drama in there and incredible development in one season, especially this last few episodes were keeping me at the edge of my sit with surprise after surprise with some heavy emotions, one of the best shows this season easily and my 3rd favorite seasonal after this final episode. |

Huuuuh? Wtf... is this seriously how it ends? This isn't the original ending right? I hate to say it but yeah, sure it fits the current plot. But damn, this is clearly not the ending I wanted tt. Arghhh, I should’ve dropped it back in eps 3 smh... Πm$ π€‘ Straight 2/10 |

Thank god this is over. Rion was the only redeeming part of this anime. |

They are such a wholesome love triangle, I hope all 3 stay together and love each other. @aurora_yuuki 8/10 |

I mostly liked the characters' relationships, especially how Rion would manhandle Himari and pick her up by grabbing her face. But the main conflict was still pretty stupid; recruiting people is just a part of doing business, and sometimes it just doesn't work out in the end. And then having Kureha be the judge of Yuu's tiara was completely unfair. As if she'd be unbiased, given how sleazy and ruthless she's shown to be. And how can everybody sense Yuu's internal motivations so well that they know he's not doing it for the same reason he was when he started? And maybe it's okay that his motivations have changed; why should his sister be policing the reasons he does what he loves and loves what he does? |

Overall it was a good show with lots of ups and downs. I'll definitely remember it the most for Himari's "Bwa-ha" and Rion's facehugger grip. |

It finally ended, what a pain it has been. But sunk cost fallacy or something like that... Expected ending, thankfully someone spoiled the truth a few discussion threads ago and knowing that this doesn't last long and Rin is the final winner makes it a bit better. As spineless, simp, and generally moronic the MC was, nobody deserves to be with someone toxic and manipulative as the show has been portraying from the start excluding the last 3 episodes. |
