Two episodes in, I thought, "boy, this is going to be a drag." But then as I kept watching, this strangely mundane yet hypnotizing show about the daily happenings in the anime industry began to suck me in deeper and deeper by each episode's end. I found myself relating to every single character, which is a lot, for their own individual struggles and flaws, while simultaneously being captivated by the non-stop, relentless scramble within the workplace and loving every minute of it. |
