| It kinda feels like they are dragging this episode's fights. Talisman still seems to be on another level although Iska is the type that doesn't back down. But yeah, Kissing is such a mysterious character at this stage in the show. She's a lot tougher than she looks on the surface. |

| When will Alice stop being dumb? She didn't suspect her older sister at all, even at least a tiny bit. Especially, with this kind of 'acting' from Elletear, it emphasized to Alice to believe that Elletear is innocent. That stab was totally fake. It was all acting from Elletear. Elletear faked her death to make Alice enraged and blamed everything on the Empire. Then the war starts. |

| What a performance from Amamiya Sora in this kimisen episode. Really sold the wide range of emotions Alice goes through there at the end. Feel like this might be the start of her villain arc. If Elletear’s goal was to sink her into despair, she might’ve succeeded. This episode was nonstop action, I mean we didn’t even get an ending to digest all the crazy shit we saw today. The fights, sisbell getting kidnapped, the explosion and the. Elletear revealing her plan and her “sacrifice”. Since they’ve come back, this show has been great. I’m still thinking about how cold that camera rotation was during the kissing fight, shame we didn’t get more of that.. the queen’s magic activating and the 360 camera rotation was also great. I’m a big sucker for that, ufotable does it a lot especially in the heaven’s feel trilogy. I really hope Elletear survives and Alice can learn the truth. Also worried about Iska there, surely she doesn’t try to attack him, right? She did say ALL imperials tho.. |

I mean they can’t change the story? The production values are way better. The story is what it is
| @Marinate1016 I don't understand why some people expected anything other than the animation and production to improve with the delay. If it's accurately adapting the novel then this just is what it is. |

This is straight bullshit! The whole episode was filled with unnecessary dialogue, the fights are worse than season 1, even after the re-animation. I'm so sad that such a great show is getting treated like a shit
| @Rom-Com_lover I wouldn't say that at all, yes the fights definitely don't have the best choreography but overall the animation here does the job well enough. A show "getting treated like shit" isn't something like this, a better example is something like classroom of the elite where they apparently cut almost 50% of the novel out and even totally messed up the main characters persona. Or something like TBATE or Blue Lock S2 where the still frames ARE the animation. Besides, if you wanna talk "getting treated like shit" then blame Silver Link, they've done basically none of the production for this season and essentially left Studio Palette to do all the work for them despite this being a "Silver Link X Studio Palette" work. So basically Silver Link are the ones giving the poor treatment to Studio Palette and by extension this show too. |

But it’s not on the studio to rewrite the script |

| @Rom-Com_lover No they never "handed it over" per se since this was always "advertised" as a Studio Palette x Silver Link work even last year during the "original" airing. If you look at the credits none of the staff or credited people working on any of the episodes from this are from Silver Link it's pretty much all Studio Palette or outsourced to 100studio. My personal theory as to why the "original" airing was so badly rushed is because Silver Link basically ditched Studio Palette to work on other things so they had to try and throw something together by the release date which was likely a date that the show would've been able to be finished by had both studio's been working on it. Again, that's mostly my theory based on the fact that silver link appears to be absent from pretty much all the production work. But either way it wouldn't shock me as Silver Link has made soo many production fumbles recently (like demon academy) they're pretty much just asking for the negative opinions. |

| Nonstop action in this episode, and it all looked great, it was a tough wait but I’m really glad they allowed this show to cook for a bit longer. And all the fights themselves were fun, unfortunately they all ended without a true winner for one reason or another (besides Johaim versus Millavair) but they all had cool moments, Kissing going sicko mode after realizing guns hurt was probably my favorite part, both because it was kinda funny and I got to see Mei blasting away again lol. I’m not too upset about all the fights ending without a victor tho, because I was a bit worried this would end with the Empire having a handful less Saint Disciples after it was over but thankfully that didn’t happen. And I gotta say, even if Johaim is the one that caused Alice to witness her mother and sister being cut down, this guy is pretty badass lol, he’s got MC vibes and he hasn’t even had that many scenes, supposedly he’s an Astral Mage too but betrayed his people, I hope we get more on him eventually. Going back to Alice tho, damn I gotta feel for her here, this was a true taste of despair for her, heck I’d be mad too if I happened to be facing the best goddamn driver in the world that managed to avoid her attacks lol, had me feeling like I was watching Mission Impossible for a bit there. But man this is about to hurt her relationship with Iska isn’t it? She has sworn to take revenge on the Empire after what happened, and Iska who just so happens to be an imperial is standing right before her, I’m thinking she either makes Iska quit his job as an Empire soldier or this causes a massive rift between them, next episode is gonna start out in rough way lol. Oh and also Vichyssoise is back, cool but I really wish she’d go back to her normal form lol. |

| Well Alice went back on her promise to be Iska's rival to bring peace, and now they going to talk it out, with her enraged and wanting revenge. I can only imaging what this conversation is going to look like 🤦♂️ |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |
| Absolutely hate it when piece of shits just get away unscathed after doing whatever they pleased like the case here. Why is not even one of the saint disciples dead by now. Also Alice has been really useless so far, completely. I know she isn't that bright but this is beyond hopeless. She's been late at her judgement at every step and now is gonna fight Iska too ain't she? lol. |

| The fights are defintely dragging along on all sides, though by the minute it's clear to see who is on the winning and losing end. Though on Jhin's end, Captain Mismis being their trump card with the astral crest to help combat Grugell's snow, it's the genius mind of the former without astral powers that defeats the Mdnight Sun Witch, but their problems aren't over as Vichyssoise soon steals Sisbell under their hands, which despite Ashe's best efforts to stop her, it could not be overcome, and this is where Iska and his gang takes over from here on out. Kissing and On being sideswiped by Elletear's quick development, which she tries to play the hero by being slain by Johaim, which Alice only spots the scene thereafter thinking that he is the one who caused the downfall of her mother and Elletear. But she could not be any further than the truth despite Warvick helping her chase both Johaim and her sister down, only tto assume that all her efforts were in vain. Is hope all lost for Alice at this stage? And with Iska's sudden arrival, what's her resolve now? |

A few examples of all the flaws You mentioned Especially with this episode, because yes, indeed, there are flaws, but It's not as catastrophic as you'd think in real life from my point of view of course. |
