| Rather than an uncut dub, I think a remake of the original Sonic x would be better. When I look at that show, though I see quite a bit that I like, I also see a lot of wasted potential and interesting ideas that don't really go anywhere. A remake that fleshes out the story a bit more and makes it more cohesive and planned, as well as does a better job exploring the characters and their relationships (especially the dynamic between human characters and Sonic characters that could have had a lot more substance) could probably be a genuinely fantastic sci-fi/fantasy adventure anime. I feel like the Sonic Adventure story lines weren't tied into the rest of the story very well, and the end of time, as well as the Metarex could be foreshadowed better. This might be from behind the wool of my good-time hat, but I feel like Dr. Eggman had a lot of interesting character traits that went nowhere, like how he's constantly telling Sonic about his plans in order to get Sonic to fight him, or that he is always laughing even if he loses. I also feel like they could have incorporated the human world better into the Metarex finale as more than a mentioned stake. Remember that nice episode with Helen? She doesn't do anything for the rest of the series. You know Rouge? Why does her character regress back to its status quo at the beginning of every arc? You know Mr. Stewart? Why was he forgotten by the narrative only to be brought back for the occasional role? You know Sam Speed? He's one of the most similar characters to Sonic in the entire series, so why isn't their rivalry used to better establish both characters? You know Chuck? His friendship with Tails was probably the most fleshed out of any of the human-Sonic character duos, but there still is tons of potential for improvement. You know Chis? He's the main human character, and a lot of his struggles are laid out pretty well, but people found him so annoying for so much of the early show that nobody cared about his struggles by the time they were being properly explored. Also, I wasn't sure where to put this, but the animation was quite lacking, even for a show of that time. I could go on, but as you can see, there were a lot of problems with Sonic x that I wish were done better and a lot of potential that I wish was capitalized on. |

| I watched it a little as a kid, on Kids WB after yugioh. I don't have many fond memories of it so it's not high on my list. I sorta tuned out after YGO. I don't care as long as it has the same cast. I love the 4kids cast. As long as it still has Megan Hollingshead in it, i'll watch it. (She's the greatest female dub VA in anime. Anything with her in it, i watch.) |

I'd like to see that too, an uncut dub, i'm sure they could get the cast to reprise their roles. They got about 80% of them back for duel links. With all the dark stuff and mature themes in the sub, i'm surprised 4kids even bought it. It was a way darker show then the typical things they licensed. There's only 3 i can think of who can't/probably won't return. But that was because one of the actors passed away, Maddie Blaustein. One was blacklisted from the industry for reasons i don't understand, James Carter Cathcart. The only other one who didn't return was Megan Hollingshead, as she had moved to LA and had to be recast. They never brought her back and just used her replacement in all future YGO dub projects. I'd like to see her come back, it's not the same without her. |

| No. The original Japanese voices are already great, and Sonic X should only be watched in Japanese. It's hard to understand why people even care about an anime translated in English, which obviously will always have inferior voice actors. And I don't want a remake of Sonic X either; Sure the presence of humans other than Eggman ruined many scenes a lot, but it still had many positive factors, such as the way how the anthropomorphic animals were drawn, and also the voice acting. And the main events of the games are already contained in Sonic X, so making a new anime now showing those same events of the old games once again will just be repetitive. What I really want is a new Sonic anime showing the events of the games that didn't exist when Sonic X was produced, obviously preferably with the writing improved in relation to how those events were shown in the games, not changing the lines that were already good, but only fixing the bad parts, and adding more, though obviously without the addition of human characters. They could animate the events of Sonic 2006, for example, but improving it by drawing Elise as a female anthropomorphic hedgehog instead of as a female human being, thus avoiding the uncanny valley. |

I have higher hopes for Sonic than I do for Pokemon that's for sure. Sonic deserves a new Anime that re-does some concepts but executes them better. The metarex stuff is badass, SEGA should bring them back. |

| I think an uncut dub would be cool since it would better adapt the Adventure storylines compared to what 4kids had to do, censoring content originally from the game. If they did an uncut dub too, I doubt they'd really change the music around but Open Your Heart really should be re-implemented into the Perfect Chaos fight since it was missing in both Japanese and English versions of the anime, and the Biolizard fight in Japanese retained Live and Learn from the game so it would be nice to have the boss music restored. I think if this were to happen they'd prolly get the current game voice cast to redub the anime but the likelihood of a Sonic X redub is very unlikely. Id at least like a Blu Ray release of the subbed version as a little something but having an uncut dub as well would be the ideal scenario considering how most Sonic fans tend to prefer the English voices |

| I was a young teen when shows like Sonic X and Kirby: Right back at you were on tv. I recall them both being just awful shows for babies. So I guess I'm trying to say, Yea sure. Give it a better dub. Shrug. |

Oh Bother. there was also the Archie SONIC Comics that i had kept up on, from -Premiere Issue Zero through Issue 50- PLUS ALL of the numerous mini-series, -spin-offs, 50-page specials, and so on- up until about 1995 or so, when Anime came seemingly out of nowhere, and began to take me in other directions. these SONIC comics, - my one other outlet for indulging my fandom, outside of the SEGA GENESIS games themselves - came along, mind you, but once per month. BOY, was it indeed a DIFFERENT world back then; you really had to bleed for what you were into, if it was even the least bit left of the mainstream in any way. the tired old stereotype about parents/grandparents and their "you damn kids don't know good you have it these days" coda really does ring resoundingly true... |

| The TV version is neutered yankee crap, aimed at preschoolers. Many people don't even consider it anime. The original is not a masterpiece, but it is good in its own way. Unfortunately, it is not well-known. |
