| All the obstacles in my life prepared me to see from the beginning that everything Himari was doing was emotional manipulation so that Yuu would go and apologize to her on his knees, even though deep down I was sad about their separation. She expected Yuu to turn the tables on her and use the same lie of going to Tokyo, but sadly, that didn't happen. At least her brother was rational enough to show her how ridiculous she was being. To me, Himari is perfect as a best friend. Her reactions and the naturalness with which she connects with Yuu seem genuine to me, but as a romantic interest, it's a firm no. Well, at least they've made up, but she has to step up, because Rion isn't going to stand idly by and hide his feelings like Himari does. |

| At first i like Himari because cute and funny. But after this episode, i seems to hate her. As you know girls' heart can't be predicted, it's completely her fault that pushing Yu to Rin. But when they are starting to get close, she changed her mind as simple toying boy's heart. Rin character as girlfriend material is the best! But i believe the author will make Himari and Yu together at the end. Because they seem needed each other, can be seen from this episode. Too bad for Rin doesn't stand a chance because she was too late. |

| Just when I thought Himari would become normal, she became annoying thinking that she could go to becoming best friends. I wonder what those girls showed her tho |

| The way that Yuu and Rin left a pack of cookies and a yogurt carton on a bench as bait for Himari was really cute. Sadly, the drama did ramp up once more which did leave things awkward between Yuu and Himari, which even led to Himari's flower accessory on her choker being damaged. Shinji did step up to help out Yuu with some decent advice and he even acted a bit tsundere when Yuu complemented him in being nice. However, this was overshadowed by how Himari's brother went from kind to unleashing the hairdrier treatment on her in a blink of an eye. It was pretty hilarious, but his words of advice to her was pretty good. Thankfully, Yuu and Himari have got their relationship back to where it was before this drama happened. not only that, Yuu also made a new beautiful ring for Himari to wear, which was nice. If only she knew about the meaning of the purple tulip inside her ring, but either way, it does make things more interesting in seeing how their relationship with each other and Rin continues. |

@Marinate1016 You are not spoiled. Yuu promised that Himari will be the number one model for him, and he shows that 'passionate eye' to her only. He went back on that promise by wanting to ditch Himari as main model without a second thought.
Himari was okay with Enomoto being a Model, however she did not agree with him basically kicking her out of the whole thing. She was absolutely right about getting mad.

She was 1000 percent not right to react the way she did. She could’ve acted like a normal human and had a convo instead of throwing a fit, acting out etc. just say what upset you. Again if this was even remotely a concern she shouldn’t have introduced him to another model. It’s clear she’s possessive. You can like her idc but don’t act like she handled this well lmao

| Ok what did I watch. This anime was depending on this episode for the direction it's heading. And it blown up on its ass completely. "This shit is so ass" [Enter Kurokawa Akane meme] I was still expecting someway they could revive Himari it still wouldn't sit right but they will atleast try no..bwah haha.. She publicly shamed Yuu throwing water at him, made the classmates hate a introverted guy, slapped him, absurd the power dynamic, manipulated him, gaslighted him, scammed him, cheated him, faked him every possible trick she can use. "But but it's for love" If your love is this toxic it's not live anymore. It's abuse. Only good thing came out of it when big brother gave this bitch the scolding of her miserable little life. It was very satisfying. But surprise surprise she didn't learn jack shit. She didn't even apologised for single thing and every thing went back to normal. Huh? I was glad for a moment she got silent treatment from him but he was cooking behind scenes. Seriously how can you blame this dude. He was ready to throw everything aside for Himari where she faked and manipulated him. She didn't even admitted it fuuuuuuckkkkk.... He literally apologised for nothing gave her a present for that with potential hidden meaning about some confession ig. And he all but admitted he is love with her but he is keeping up best friends charade due to her. And Himari was blaming him and STILL going with 30 year old marriage crap. I give up man. Honestly Yuu isn't doing anything wrong going for his love I admire that but what a horrible choice man. I can see how a loner getting attention from popular girl will naturally make him fall blah blah. But nah just run man she is no way a good respectable women. After being the main culprit causing all this drama she just gets rewarded. Just amazing... In middle of all this shit show I just feel so bad for Rion. What did she do to deserve this. She was honest, caring, helpful and put her feelings aside. And she was guilt tripped by Himari and now Yuu all but rejected her. Please stay away from these two. Date Makshima or something. Someone who really cares about you and help you as much as possible even to the point ready in being the "bad guy". Imagine hating any of these two and champoning for toxic bitch that is Himari. After having such an outstanding start last two episode was slap in the face. How much I rant about this is not enough. I am so disgusted by this crap. Rion and the OP is only few good things left about this anime. |

@ejleon Read my previous comment. Never said the guy is 100% at fault.
The guy was at fault for wanring to ditch her as main model. The girl was at fault the things after that. Which I wrote.
Himari did not push him into that. She did not say to him that "Hey, let her be your main model" she said, that a new model can bring other perspecrive. And they made a promise to each other.
He promised that Himari will be the main model and she will be the only one who can see his eyes.
She promised that in exchange for that she will do her best to help him sell hiss accessories and open up a shop.
She upheld that part of the deal. He did not.

| @UTMAN I sincerely apologize for jumping to conclusions based on a later comment, you did talk about them both being at fault earlier. UTMAN said: She upheld that part of the deal. He did not. However, you saying this, it sounds like you are saying it is all his fault. Her whole attitude and teasing him from the beginning was really taking a toll on him and his feelings, she thought is was hilarious, but as I said, it seemed like she was putting a strain on their friendship with this, he was definitely being affected by her torturing him with her antics all the time, he was even starting to really think that nothing would ever happen between them. "wanting to ditch her", this is an example of completely misrepresenting him and what was actually happening in the anime. He was not ditching his best friend, Yuu did not even think or bring up "replacing her" himself. Yuu was following the pushing that the girl best friend was doing with the new girl to get him closer to his former crush, even having her model for him, along with the whole "your online store needs to change" idea being in his head, then the guy best friend purposely pressed buttons with saying "the new girl should be the new main model", this was said on purpose by him to force the girl best friend to finally be honest with her own feelings and stop hiding behind a mask, and it worked, so the guy best friend is also at fault here for throwing gasoline on the fire. To Yuu, in the moment, this seemed like a good business move that was making a lot whole lot of sense, and it would also mean being closer to his crush, but since at the same time, Yuu had forgotten about the promise that he made years ago, the girl best friend's feelings were hurt, but it was not done intentionally or "ditching his girl best friend". Yes, Yuu broke the promise that he made years ago, I understand that, and he hurt his girl best friend. But her not realizing the circumstances of what was happening from Yuu's perspective, her lack of communication, her not reminding him of their promise, and her getting angry, lead to at lot of time and energy wasted, not to mention fighting pain and tears. My main point was that it was not Yuu's idea, Yuu was not "ditching" her, Yuu did not hurt his girl best friend on purpose, and when Yuu remembered, he realized that he really messed up and tried to apologize. It is not a cut and dry, black and white, she did / he didn't, it is more complex than that. |

| While both Yuu and Himari were both in the wrong in their own ways Himari was being far more toxic about it. Like pouring a drink over him or slapping him none of that is necessary. When you resort to getting physical its immediately putting you in a bad light. Himari also lying about leaving and using underhanded tactics was very wrong. Yuu not thinking about Himari's feelings when he said to change over to ennochi was wrong sure but I mean come on with how light-hearted and fake Himari is all the time its really not surprising he wouldn't see how she felt and this will clearly be a blatant problem in the future Himari concealing her feelings through dumb teasing or jokes. But its nice we got a proper confirmation of her feelings and that Yuu is clearly starting to fall for her too. Generally this was probably my favourite episode. I gained some respect for Himari this episode and have gone from hating her to liking her to an extent. Im also starting to root for her even though what she was doing was very wrong. |

Up to the end of Ep 3 it's all his fault yes. Then after that it's her fault. All in all both are at fault. ejleon said: Her whole attitude and teasing him from the beginning was really taking a toll on him and his feelings, she thought is was hilarious, but as I said, it seemed like she was putting a strain on their friendship with this, he was definitely being affected by her torturing him with her antics all the time, he was even starting to really think that nothing would ever happen between them. Neither does he tell her his feelings, as he is falling for her, or thinks as a really important person to him. Also they BOTH tease each other. That's the dynamic of their relationship. For example at the beginning of Ep 4 with the snack. ejleon said: "wanting to ditch her", this is an example of completely misrepresenting him and what was actually happening in the anime. He was not ditching his best friend, Yuu did not even think or bring up "replacing her" himself. No, it's exactly what happened. "Yuu make Enocchi your exclusive model" AKA she will be the model. And Himari is OUT. And the guy went for it EVEN AFTER Himari firmly rejected the idea that she don't like this at all. ejleon said: To Yuu, in the moment, this seemed like a good business move that was making a lot whole lot of sense, and it would also mean being closer to his crush, but since at the same time, Yuu had forgotten about the promise that he made years ago, the girl best friend's feelings were hurt, but it was not done intentionally or "ditching his girl best friend". He did not forget about the promise. https://imgur.com/TpzwH21 Intentinality is irrelevant here. He broke it. Also why don't you put the guy on the same standard as Himari here? You are being really hypocritical here. He also could have pull away Himari and discuss the whole model change in private and have a talk about it, instead of he just went for it in and basically embarrassed Himari in front of the guy and Enocchi. ejleon said: Yes, Yuu broke the promise that he made years ago, I understand that, and he hurt his girl best friend. But her not realizing the circumstances of what was happening from Yuu's perspective, her lack of communication, her not reminding him of their promise, and her getting angry, lead to at lot of time and energy wasted, not to mention fighting pain and tears. You do realise that during emotional distress people are not always acting rationally? Himari was obviously heavily upset and acted out rashly, like I said. She being angry is okay, I don't also agree how she acted out on it, but her anger was 100% justified. ejleon said: My main point was that it was not Yuu's idea, Yuu was not "ditching" her. Yuu did not hurt his girl best friend on purpose, and when Yuu remembered, he realized that he really messed up and tried to apologize. It is not cut and dry, black and white, she did / he didn't. it is more complex than that. As I said before, Yuu and Himari have an agreement. Guy makes accessories, and she is the main model. Him removing from this position is equivalent of ditching her, as she won't be in the accessory business anymore, since Enocchi will be the model not her anymore. He went for it, without a second thought, without talking to Himari, and even after she heavily opposed the idea. Also who cares that it was not Yuu's idea in the first place? Like if I tell you Ejleon, did you know that you could make a fortune by robbing a bank! And you do it, how does the fact that I gave you the idea acquit you from the act? |

4 episodes in and it still remains annoying.
One girl can't be honest with herself, she loves her best friend, but because she never tells him, yet teases him constantly, which is torturing for the guy, this ends up straining their friendship and hurting her best friend.
One girl can't express herself, but is honest with her feelings and caring, she has no intention of getting in the way of their friendship, she just wants to be with him, but she causes the friend to become jealous, and will probably be hurt in the crossfire.
The guy is too unconfident and shy to do anything serious, who is also not honest about his feelings, he is not selfish, but his straight "can't read between the lines" character, causes him to hurt his own best friend, and most likely, unintentionally hurt his former crush that likes him.
Then there is the creepy sleaze-ball best friend who is actually mature when he wants to be and can give good advice, but he screws up all his own relationships.
I really don't understand why anime "romance" has to be so dramatic and full of lack of communication, hurt, pain, and tears.
Why can't someone write an actual love story, where two people honestly get to know each other and fall in love over time?
It doesn't have to be boring if written creatively. It just would be a nice change of pace.

| It's me, or this anime adaptation is rushing things?... 4 eps and basically just catch up the manga and this episode basically cuts so much and so many moments were butchered for the sake of pacing. It's a shame that the LN isn't translated so far to confirm if this is the intended pace or not. |

| @ejleon Might I evangelize you about CLANNAD? Two strangers getting into a common project, slowly building trust and culminating in a relationship is what romance should be about, totally agree. https://myanimelist.net/anime/2167/Clannad Other options out of my head might be: Toradora, a classic Chuu2Koi (more comedy but the romance advances slow and steady) Pseudo harem for something more recent, yet it feel so organic Takagi-san, she already loves him, but slow and steady wins the race and she applies it masterfully until he develops the same feelings Bunny girl senpai, although the relationship advances very quickly. The end of the first arc could very much be the ending of most romance animes. | So she told him to make Enemoto his model and then got mad at him when he did, poured water on his head and said that they’re not longer friends. Then she fake cried in order to make him feel bad so that he can beg for forgiveness so that she can use that to make him do whatever so wants including forcing him to kiss her. She’s supposed to be a love interest right? |

| Decent episode. I honestly have nothing to say to be honest. It's mostly just Himari throwing a tantrum and Yuu just has to deal with it. There has been some progress though. At least they're starting to realize their feelings. It's just a matter of when they're going to confess to each other, but they still have some things to fix. 4/5 |

| I believe if Himari continues to behave herself like that, she might lose Yuu-kun for real. I know she’s in love with him and she wants to have a beautiful relationship, but this is not the moment yet. I still think there could be a possibility for them to be together though. | I don't know what to say. Yuu was good at what he did and said, even while making Himari cry what she thinks are "false tears". The brother is as crazy as his sister, but I understand what he tried to say (something like "sacrificing everything towards a goal, no matter what"), and he nailed it when he said she's a manipulative piece of **** (he didn't say that, but it was so close to that). I don't know who the lady with the purple hair is, but something she said made Yuu's answer perfect the next time he talked with Himari. Then, there's Enomoto... Like most people here, I don't want her to become a third wheel in a future relationship between Himari and Yuu, especially after seeing that she can pick her up like a cat by her neck, and of course, her past with Yuu. But it'll be difficult for Yuu to just erase the "Best friend" tag from Himari, and ignore the "First love" which was Enomoto. It's a mess, and people are leaving this story left and right because of it, mainly because of Himari being immature. I can understand her, though. Being the main character of an anime where the main guy might be in love with her (definitely), but as usual in romance anime, she can't EVER admit she's also in love with him in these few episodes is quite tough, huh? So the craziness is raised to make people upset, but not leave the anime entirely, just to know what would happen next in the whole mess. I will still watch it. After all, Maomao is carrying the Fridays of this season. I can't get mad on a day like this. |

You get the idea). |

That's some wise words coming from Himari's brother though it's too government-centric for the situations happening in my country atm lol.
Just can't dislike Himari's possessive behaviour at all, I'm extremely rooting for her.

| There's one thing that make me sympathize a lot with Himari, even with all that happening: she is just a teenager. She is what, 16? 17? It's normal for teenagers to be spoiled and act in a "bad way" when things change. She lied about going to Tokyo and wanted Yuu to apologize, but was scolded by her brother and went to fix things up. Teenagers be doing bad things because they're teenagers, and I don't think that makes her a bad person. Anyway, good episode! Even now I still don't know who to root for... I guess either Himari winning or Enocchi winning would be good, but I also don't want to see any of them sad for losing.... aaaah! |

| Yuu and Himari are cute when they are getting along but very toxic when they are fighting. They are very quick to say and do the kinds of things that dig deep into a person's psyche because they know it will get under their skin. It's straight up emotionally abusive, and a relationship can only handle so much of that before it becomes irreparable. If they want to be together, they better start learning to respect each other real fast. |

| Himari is like a spoiled attention seeking child that throws a tandem any time she’s not having her way. Yuu is like the parent who doesn’t know how to properly discipline such a child and ends up caving and giving them what they want even though the child is clearly in the wrong and reinforcing these bad behaviors is going to lead to more trouble down the road. Rion is the other child that’s perfectly well behaved, does all her chores, and is genuinely wonderful - but she will never even get an ounce of attention from the parent because they are too distracted appeasing the temper tantrums of the other child. I absolutely HATE the character of Himari. I don’t understand how anyone could be 50/50 of her yet alone root for her, there are so many brain dead simps that will just root for a “cute” anime girl. In real life, people like her are worse than cancer. It’s funny how they’re already working to undo the damage at the end of the last episode. It hate how in anime (and Japanese culture in general I guess) the guy is always the and one no matter what the girl does and how he always has to end up apologizing to her. Just for once I’d like an MC that wasn’t a beta male cuck. Ideally what Yuu should be doing is cutting Himari from his life completely, behaving like he’s absolutely unbothered, ignoring her existence, and getting with Rion as loudly as he can’t. But this is anime… he’s going to cave and apologize and get with Himari in the end after finding some secret flaw in Rion. It makes me so friggin sick. |

Up to the end of Ep 3 it's all his fault yes. Then after that it's her fault. All in all both are at fault.

Neither does he tell her his feelings, as he is falling for her, or thinks as a really important person to him. Also they BOTH tease each other. That's the dynamic of their relationship. For example at the beginning of Ep 4 with the snack.

No, it's exactly what happened. "Yuu make Enocchi your exclusive model" AKA she will be the model. And Himari is OUT. And the guy went for it EVEN AFTER Himari firmly rejected the idea that she don't like this at all.

He did not forget about the promise.

Intentinality is irrelevant here. He broke it. Also why don't you put the guy on the same standard as Himari here? You are being really hypocritical here. He also could have pull away Himari and discuss the whole model change in private and have a talk about it, instead of he just went for it in and basically embarrassed Himari in front of the guy and Enocchi.

You do realise that during emotional distress people are not always acting rationally? Himari was obviously heavily upset and acted out rashly, like I said. She being angry is okay, I don't also agree how she acted out on it, but her anger was 100% justified.

| @UTMAN UTMAN said: Up to the end of Ep 3 it's all his fault yes. Then after that it's her fault. All in all both are at fault. I disagree with this take. I think Himari was acting super annoying and jealously strange, while Yuu was tying to put up with her crazy antics, to communicate when he felt something was off, and trying to be nice to both Himari & Rin, plus I don't think the restaurant was all his fault. UTMAN said: Neither does he tell her his feelings, as he is falling for her, or thinks as a really important person to him. Also they BOTH tease each other. That's the dynamic of their relationship. For example at the beginning of Ep 4 with the snack. True, I do fault them both for not communicating and not being honest about their feeling with themselves and each other. Going back to "were best friends" all the time was really putting a gap in their relationship as friends and possibly more. I agree they teased each other, but I disagree that their teasing is the same. His teasing is playful and poking fun at her, he doesn't bring physical touch into the teasing, except maybe to push her away. Her teasing is way more torturous for him. From the beginning she is literally in his face, whispering in his hear, rubbing up against him, sitting on his lap, climbing on him, which he keeps passing off as her not being serious. Then she ups her game, starts talking about them being romantic, or kissing, or having sex, while basically "cock blocking" him the whole time with ruining the moment, while laughing in his face or insulting him under her breath. After today ruing the moment, she even says under her breath, "I gave you the green light", but Yuu is over their bothered that she keeps messing with him like this and it is hurting him too. She acted so different that he finally tried talking to her, but she avoided talking much about it directly, leaving him more confused. And what if he lost control one of these times that she was teasing him, like when she pulled him on top of her saying "Do you want to do it?", how would she have handled that situation? Say,"Just Kidding!", and find a way out of it? UTMAN said: No, it's exactly what happened. "Yuu make Enocchi your exclusive model" AKA she will be the model. And Himari is OUT. And the guy went for it EVEN AFTER Himari firmly rejected the idea that she don't like this at all. The translation I saw for the anime said, not "exclusive model" but "main model", meaning it was not replacing Himari, but adding Rin as a second model in the business, doing the main shots for the new merchandise. You are totally reading into the situation and misrepresenting Yuu. I re-watched that scene and I really think you should watch that scene again too. Yuu was far more innocent in this situation. Shinji is the one pushing the idea the entire time. Yuu is hesitant, Yuu & Rin kinda of talk about it, Rin says "she is happy to do it", Yuu starts considering it. Then Himari interjects, but keeps going back and forth on the topic. She first says "You can't dot that!" while slamming her hand on the table, then she tries to backtrack it by saying, "I mean it is a great idea, but ... she tries to list reasons why Rin can't handle it", Shinji starts pushing the idea again, getting in Himari's face, when Yuu says for them to "calm down", but they both tell him to "shut up". Shinji asks Himari straight out, "What are you worried about?", but she denies being worried. When it finally goes back to Yuu speaking, he is still hesitant about it, and he obviously does not remember making that promise in the past. He even reminds Himari about her saying he needed knew inspiration. Then Yuu comes right out and says to her, "You have been acting strange lately", meaning that he has no clue what is going on in head, because she always has a fake mask on to hide her true feelings, and she doesn't communicate. Yuu then shares that her teasing him all the time and not meaning it is "a drag", meaning that she is hurting his feelings by doing it, and even more now that she became more pushy with him, making him suffer under her antics. Like I said her torturing him all the time is straining not just their friendship, but anything more between them. He then says, "I am sorry, but I can't take your side on this one." Yuu is totally confused, feeling bad, not wanting to hurt Himari, but also not liking how he is being treated, saying "I can only handle so much" in his thoughts. You are not having understanding or patience with Yuu, while acing like Himari didn't do anything wrong before then, that's unfair. UTMAN said: He did not forget about the promise. That happens in episode 4, after he remembers the promise, not before this the station in episode 3, so it doesn't count. UTMAN said: Also why don't you put the guy on the same standard as Himari here? I am, you are the one being unfair to Yuu, and biased toward Himari, that has been my point from the beginning. I literally said you are not being fair to both of them. I also agreed with you that Yuu blew it for breaking the promise, but I thought you were being too hard on him and not hard enough on Himari. You are more defensive for her, and bothered at Yuu for Himari. You are inserting your feelings as the audience into what happened. UTMAN said: You are being really hypocritical here. In no way have I been acting like hypocrite here at all. You are now misrepresenting me. UTMAN said: He also could have pull away Himari and discuss the whole model change in private and have a talk about it, instead of he just went for it in and basically embarrassed Himari in front of the guy and Enocchi. That is you as an the audience feeling bad for Himari, because you know what is happening, that is is completely unfair judgement of Yuu, who obviously does not remember the promise and has no clue what is happening. UTMAN said: You do realise that during emotional distress people are not always acting rationally? There are women who act like Himari, and then there are women who communicate and say something like, "Yuu, you're not going back on your promise, are you?", prompting him to think about it and realize he was making a mistake. Himari, not communicating and expecting Yuu to remember the promise they made years ago in that moment, then getting angry when Yuu has no clue what is going on, is unjustified and selfish. She basically created her own problems and didn't have any patience with Yuu, even though he clearly was not remembering and was completely confused about what was happening. UTMAN said: As I said before, Yuu and Himari have an agreement. Guy makes accessories, and she is the main model. Him removing from this position is equivalent of ditching her, as she won't be in the accessory business anymore, since Enocchi will be the model not her anymore. He went for it, without a second thought, without talking to Himari, and even after she heavily opposed the idea. Yes, they made an agree years ago, which Yuu obviously didn't remember, it happens sometimes, a loving friend would remind him, not lash out from jealously and hate. It is like you have never had to remind a friend about something, you know sometimes they forget, but we can have understanding and patience, being mature about it, instead of being emotionally sensitive and feeling hurt. He was totally hesitant and second guessing it the entire time. He doest need to talk to Himari in private, they are all right there talking. On the other hand, she could have taken him aside and reminded him of the promise they made, since he was obviously not remembering. Himari didn't outright appose it, she was going back and forth, making up excuses, instead of just saying she is against because of the promise they made. Yuu did not remove Himari from the business, that is false. They would both still be working for Yuu, with one being the "main model" and the other being an "additional model". He was not "ditching" Himari at all, he was adding Rin as a second new model to the business and having her do the modeling for their new merchandise. Himari was not mad about being out of the business, she was mad that he made her the "main mode", not because he kicked her out of the business, but because that was the promise he made to her, to be the main model for him. UTMAN said: Also who cares that it was not Yuu's idea in the first place? Like if I tell you Ejleon, did you know that you could make a fortune by robbing a bank! And you do it, how does the fact that I gave you the idea acquit you from the act? That is straw-man argument. Of course I would be the idiot for actually robbing the bank in that situation. You are wrongly putting all the blame on him, when it is Hiimari, Yuu's, and Shinji's fault in that situatoion. The each share part off the blame. |

@ejleon Might I evangelize you about CLANNAD? Two strangers getting into a common project, slowly building trust and culminating in a relationship is what romance should be about, totally agree.
https://myanimelist.net/anime/2167/Clannad
Other options out of my head might be:
Toradora, a classic
Chuu2Koi (more comedy but the romance advances slow and steady)
Pseudo harem for something more recent, yet it feel so organic
Takagi-san, she already loves him, but slow and steady wins the race and she applies it masterfully until he develops the same feelings
Bunny girl senpai, although the relationship advances very quickly. The end of the first arc could very much be the ending of most romance animes.
Tsuki ga kirei if you want two students that actually not understand feelings and how to talk about them, instead of whatever the blue haired here tries to play as

| Romance anime are essentially endangered these days, 99% are just straight up boo-boo ass cheeks. I wonder how they decide what mangas/ LN’s get adapted? Has to be random or something. This one is apart of the 99%, maybe it’ll get better but probably not. |

| Only episode 4 and we're at the point where the relationship is at a "crossroads", even though it was all planned as a joke by Himari, but she's starting to develop/realize her feelings towards Yu. Enjoying the love triangle dynamic with the characters, and Yu's awareness is a lot better than most characters in his position. Not all the charcters are completely dense about their feelings for one another. Can't wait to see how this all develops rest of the season. Love the older brother of Himari, Hibari, for his fondness towards Yu. Very solid show so far! |

It was so bad that someone had to make a long-ass thread about Himari not 100% at fault for last week's crashout. Now when some points of the thread got supported by this episode and additional logic AND completely focused on the main couple, Himari and Yu, not dragging their drama, we get people pissed here cuz "Rin is completely tossed aside" this shit is just complete bias now on Rin just cuz Himari is being a human being. | Jesus christ Himari took a nosedive in these past few episodes. Literally introduces her friends to each other who were each others first crush, she knows they were each other crushes, then she proceeds to push for yuu to make the new girl a model and then when he does it she gets mad, slaps him, manipulates him, and gaslights him into basically start to fall for her instead of the other new girl. She went from this quirky funny girl in the first episode to the absolute worst my god. That whole bs promise about making sure only she sees his eyes, then takes her friend who is very obviously crushing on Yuu to fix the accessory and see him work so she also sees those eyes. So fucking dumb. There is absolutely 0 suspense of there even being a hint of a love triangle here, it's so incredibly obvious who is gonna win and the 2 people that are gonna become a couple both suck. |

| After years of friendship it's very difficult to cut ties like that out of the blue, so I understand why Himari acted that way. I believe the discussion was good so they could understand each other's feelings. How lucky Yu was to have had Makishima as a friend at this moment, because he was able to analyze the whole situation very well and give a good advice. Himari was just trying to prove her worth. Himari was just trying to be appreciated. I liked the advice of her brother: "discard the small things and get the most important thing in the final". Yu's attitude towards Tokyo was amazing, because he showed Himari how important she is to him! And everything that happened only strengthened their bond even more. I'm really excited for the new episodes :] |

| Okay, this episode was a literal rollercoaster. The MVPs were definitely Shinji and Hibari, with the purple-haired girl getting an honorable mention. I honestly thought they were going to make up, then break up, then make up again, literally just like my first sentence said. In any case, I loved that they finally actually made up before the credits. But I'm curious about how Yuu is going to handle both Himari and Rion from now on. Seriously, is he going to two-time them? Pick one and hurt the other? Pick Himari and hurt Rion? Pick Rion and hurt Himari? I'm really curious. Anyway, I'm team Rin, even though I’m aware that Himari is 100% winning the love triangle, simply because she's the heroine of the anime. That’s why I hate plot armor. I just hope Rion at least gets treated well by Shinji, since he’s her childhood friend. Go Rion! You go, girl! |
