Oh my God, it's peak. They fucking the did it, the madlads did it, and they included Mimimi and Meme on it.
They really went shameless on the Dragon Ball references this season and most especially this episode, I am 100 percent sure it wasn't that blatant in the manga lmao.

| Once again this show proves itself to surpass all sorts of limits with fourth wall breaking, extremely sus lines and references to things like DBZ. I think this episode wrapped up the season perfectly and proves itself to be the funniest anime I've ever watched and one of the few good harem anime still out there. I think again this show shines from having an incredibly strong male lead and so far completely unique girls in designs and personality. I think the harem genre is generally flawed because it suffers by either having a dull male lead, not giving enough time for each girl or just having a bad story. This show, date a live and Trinity seven are easily the best in the genre. I do think date a live is the worst of the 3 but manages to hold its place with a good story. this was a absolutely amazing season and Im looking forward to season 3. I still don't think the author will manage 100 girls and make them unique but only time will tell. 8.4/10 And what better way to end this off by ranking every character. 1. Karane 2. Mimimi 3. | Good episode a little sad with Karane thanking the girls that her face got wiped away, it really ruined a good moment for her character. The mixed up why i love you speeches from all the crew and the 4th wall breaks were hilarious in this episode. A good tried and true where ending this as ridiculous as possible. I think the animators had a harder time drawing this season than the first. Lots of faces gone missing and stilted animation. But it didn't deride me from loving the show any less. If this show gets like 20+ seasons it would be an incredibly difficult thing to animated. That being said I really hope we get another season. The manga is absolutely hilarious and the VA's for all the girls have been absolutely solid so far. All the girls of this series are precious and I'd love to see them. |

It was a great season, and the ending was truly remarkable— I loved it! However, I was really hoping to get a glimpse of the next girlfriend. It's unfortunate that I now have to wait for the third season.

| Absolute peak cinéma ! Again a great season with absurde level of adaptation in to the anime format. I loved how Rentaro trashed the Mangaka and Animators for the horny parts! Need that S3 ASAP! |

| With that, the adaptation has completed six manga volumes altogether; with only a very slim margin of error. Seeing the visual realization of the group helping return Karane back to her usual tsundere self was a joy to see. The way Mimimi and Meme were integrated into the re-sequenced ch. 37 was neatly handled, changing over the Iku lines to the former two. I kinda wonder if they'd asked Nakamura to help write those two in as they hardly feel out of place, if not, then huge kudos to the writers for realizing their characters without much deviation. Placing their confessions between Mei and Kurumi was a very smart decision and given the series' love for breaking the fourth wall, it was quite welcomed to see them call out that they're a continuity anomaly, as was the way they handled re-writing Karane so that it acknowledges that it's happening after the Tsundere Lost arc. Overall, just big ups to director Hikaru Satou and Bibury for this season. After S1 had been very 1:1, the shrewd changes, re-storyboarding, chapter omissions, and scene extensions seen here have all been to the series' benefit. I rarely find that adaptations are ever better than their source material, but at times this season came close, especially with certain chapters. Kind of a good choice to eschew visually teasing the next set of soulmates. Some major spoilers would've happened visually. So can't wait to see what peoples reactions are going to be to them in real time. |

This 2nd season was so great, I found it way funnier than the 1st episode, absolutely loved all the 4th wall break jokes and the many references. |

| I don't know if it's just me but I felt like this season was just boring. Don't get me wrong, I liked the first season quite a bit but I just haven't really jelled with this one. I like the new girls that were introduced and the quality is still high, but other than that, not a big fan. |

| Pure cinema, as always. This season was absolute gold, and the Dragon Ball references were a solid 10/10. The final scene with Rentaro, in which he lists everything he likes about his girlfriends, was the perfect capstone. I had to read it in slow motion; anything else would have been disrespectful to Wataru Katou's effort to make this stupid 😅 . I liked this season much better than the first, and now I'm just waiting for them to confirm a third! |

| @ota92ppon Mate, it’s for giving the other characters something to do and helps add to, or bolsters, their dynamics within the group to prevent the audience from not getting over the conceit a large polygamous relationship. At it’s most basic, then the series really would just fall victim to: meet a new girl, she meets the group with maybe one gimmick to spice things up, rinse and repeat. That’d get boring and wouldn’t satisfy the author’s artistic needs. |
