| I'm probably with a lot of you on this one. Trigun was one of the first, maybe even thee first anime I watched long ago, and I still have it listed as a 10/10 masterpiece. This, on the other hand might bastardize the original, including the source material too much for me to actually enjoy the nostalgia of it. I'm okay with the CGI, but the change in character design and the story is kinda jarring. I'll give it the full, go, though. |

| Not sure yet what to make of this story, since I'm unfamiliar with the original Trigun. A sci-fi western set in an extra-terrestrial desert planet centered around two twin brothers, one good and one evil/mad, ha? 🤔 Not a great fan of the CGI art in this. I know Studio Orange have a knack for full CGI anime, but while that worked well in Beastars and great in Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous) here their art looks a bit awkward. One major difference, I would guess, is that it is harder to render CGI humans than humanoid animals and non binary gem based humanoids... |
