| As an anime only (for now), this episode was beyond my expectations. I wasn't expecting to sob like a little baby today, but alas. Seriously, the art direction and music direction for this episode was off the charts. The writing was amazing as well. This is one of the best shows I've watched in a long while. |

| What a heart wrenching episode... But when spirits come from unresolved issues, I should have known Acrobatic Silky had a serious tale to tell. Whilst in the midst of her pain, the sequence where she's practicing ballet was beautiful. |

| If it weren't for the art direction I'd call this mid and just another action shonen. This was gorgeous. There's a lot of passion and talent behind this project and it shows. |

Overindulgent and unnecessarily bleak for a comedy anime. I mean, we saw a girl get HUMAN TRAFFICKED and not only do we NOT get closure on that, but the episode ends on an almost joyful note.
Frankly, it came off as lazy writing, like "I cant write compelling characters with well-developed arcs so I'll just make a character with the darkest backstory I can conjure up for the sole purpose of getting a reaction out of the viewer. "
I've absolutely LOVED the show thus far, so I can only hope this is not the direction the rest of the show takes because damn I miss when we were just looking for my man's balls.

| ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE I have read this chapter a while ago and it always shed tears in my eyes. To be honest I have no expectations what so ever for the adaptation and Bro they delivered so well. the combination of the cinematic and the voice acting made this written masterpiece into a reality. ( Chainsaw directing really suit the scene well) I cant wait for next! 10/5  |
| Just wow, such a great episode. The best episode so far, I wasn’t expecting them to make us empathize with a spirit, but the story was so real and tragic, the soundtrack was amazing and the scenes were great. Who knows what happened to that child but the build up of how a human become a spirit and how a spirit forgets and becomes simply a killing and hurting machine. |

| Instant classic, up there with the likes of Violet Evergarden 10, A Place Further Than The Universe 12, and Clannad After Story 18. This is how you write Shounen. |
| This episode was so beautifully done holy shit. The style and color changes, the spinning camera, the music, just perfect. Acro Silky's backstory hit me pretty hard, but what really pushed me over the edge was Aira running to hug her with tears streaming out saying she loved her and that she'd never forget. |
