| Vetlol and Machina teaming up :o Felt like a buildup episode but I'm kinda disappointed at the fight in this one. Really one sided and hard to care about the characters. Might be worth keeping an eye on Kinohara. She seems like one of the more clever ones. |

| If Chi was not airing this season, Maou 2099 would be my AOTS! (Old anime are currently excluded but that could change soon!) Most of all I love the characters and their dynamic. Veltol and Gram feel like old best friends that parted ways due to a misunderstanding. (basically what actually happened!) Takahashi and Veltol also feel like the type of friends that always fight with each other, but in reality are great friends. The plot is more nuanced than both a typical fantasy story and a typical cyberpunk story. The animation is above average and the fights feel epic. What's not to love about this series?! |
| We now have the team-up that pretty much all of have been predicting since Gram and Veltol met. Love Machima's fire demon combat form. |

| We all knew the team-up was coming, but it feels a little to quick and easy to me. Good banter between the two, though, as they bickered about creating dungeons and beating dungeons. Video-gamey and fun chat. Overall, it's turning out to be a little more generic than it first looked. Hot demon girl, girl gets kidnapped, old enemies join forces (with a literal manly handshake), straight into the dungeon boss after skipping the trash mobs. It's still mostly working for me, but I no longer expect anything special from this show. |
| It’s crazy how this show actually is a top 3-4 one this season. Genuinely amazing watch and one of the best reverse isekai thus far Think I speak for everyone when I say fuck Marcus, disgusting treasonous bitch. Hate when bums like him ruin what should be dope moments. Finally getting to see Machina go all out and her true combat form, just for this dweeb to use his disrupt magic gimmick and ambush her. Coward I can’t lie I got chills when Veltol and Gram finally reached an agreement and set out together to save Machina. I think it’s cool this show has a character with such a flawed past like Veltol truly becoming good and accepting his past deeds but striving to be better. Nothing can bring Gram’s family back, but Veltol was also fighting to defend his own people. War isn’t black and white and Gram just couldn’t resist that earnest plea for help. Times change, heroes never do. Lmfao at Veltol being upset they couldn’t properly tackle the dungeon. They do get a proper dungeon reward in the form of a boss fight tho. Gonna be fun to see them take on Marcus’ assistant next episode. |

@perseii that plot progression to me, and it finally getting to more action when the first 3 episodes of this anime were mostly just building the world and introduction to characters, mc getting stronger, just slice of life type episodes
| @AurasNep To me, the world, the characters and the slice-of-life stuff were the things that made the show interesting. It was kind of unexpected and fun how the demon lord was going around town looking for jobs, building his streaming career and chatting up his old rival. Like it or not, it felt fresh to me. Sure, we have a plot now, but the plot is just... fine. So far. I'd like to see more of the earlier stuff instead, but I also understand most people want a "proper" story. |
| 4/5, him having power over all familia was completely expected since we saw him, but I'm still hoping for Veltol to get some custom familia. I would be shocked if the plan doesn't have something to do with him people put in literally everyones faces, whether it be the robot attack, another thing, or livestream this. Whether it's in good or bad light, he'll get boost, because right now, he's screwed since only had 1m subs and likely people are losing interest, or "faith". So it's assumed from early on, that Veltol might have always been a good guy. My guess is the hero's evil experiences were from Marcus, and Veltol isn't denying it because Marcus was under him and is taking responsibility. However that's my guess. Veltol is truly a Gamer. |

| ROFL @ the Hero and Maou arguing about mapping the dungeon. Maou: "think about the dungeons, the fun of exploring" Hero: "think about the adventurers, the tedious time wasting" . Wonder how they'll fight this dude with the cheat device... Since Maou is like what? 10-20% of his full power? And Hero haven't fought for a long time, which is evidenced by the rusting sword... But the Hero should still have all his power, since his power isn't like Maou that requires "Faith", it's from the Goddess. Tho that's also a question... where is the "Goddess"... is she dead after the world fusion? but if she is, should the Hero's blessing be broken? But since the Hero is still eternal young from her Blessing, that should mean the Goddess is still alive somewhere right? Hmm.... |

| Hmm, unless I'm mistaken both Veltol and the hero Gram don't have familias so Marcus shouldn't be able to manipulate them like he did with Machina but Veltol isn't at his full power and I'm assuming the hero is probably rusty so they may be the underdogs. But for now they only have to face Marcus' assistant so she can be a "practice" match to see how they do although I think that they will come out victorious. |

| I can't believe the episode flew by. Some battles, but it's unfortunate their attacks and spells are not memorable. I know Machina is this anime's waifu, but Marcus' secretary is not bad. |

Just lose electronics or is there something more vital? Veltol comes off more an idealist that actually wants optimum outcomes. |

| @traed Veltol is a realist. With massive experience in leadership. And constantly gives actual real world genuine examples of it. From his interview session to how he handles everything else. Its exactly the problems we face in transitioning generals from staff to civilian work. At the end of their careers in the Army. So much so its provided as education to even us as children. To assist in that jump. From causing so much obvious harm to have anyone less than a nations leader on the streets with no prospects. While still having led like that. Vels case it works fine. He was that head of state. Doesn't miss a beat. Gram is much more so the lower level who gets crushed. By how everyone moves on without him. Never able to betray his loyalty and despise those who tried to harm him. Enough to work against them. But like passively accepting even without doing anything but waste. As tho that is expected of him. Absolutely the normal state for these types of guys in reality. So from that context they are very well written. |
