| I wasn't entirely sure who to root for in this next round but Anaak Jahad put up quite a fight. Almost forgot about her existence this season but hey, she showed up this time. Ran also put up quite an effort too. I do hope they maintain this momentum. I came up low expectations but this was one of the better fights this season imo. |

| I've been holding back posting on here because, I won't lie, I have close to zero clue wtf is even happening lmao. But hey, that fight had SOME decent cuts in there, I won't lie. Was still pretty bad overall though. And even though this episode adapted like 8 or something chapters I think, this was probably the most cohesive episode of this arc.... somehow. | Damn they're really bad at building and creating the emotions huh? The least they can do is make Viole calling Xia Xia's name from afar, walking slowly towards Rak and Endorssi, approaching them from the shadow, give time for Rak's realisation, and ONLY after that comes the hug! How can Endorssi's reaction of hearing Bam's name in episode 2 was so good, but not this one? I was waiting for Rak and Viole reunion so much and I knew I shouldn't put expectations, but it still went with how they handled Khun meeting Viole for the first time :/ And I forgot how pissed off I was with Paracule interrupting the duel in the manhwa like bro come onnnnn he's already a trash in season 1 ๐ Rak, just beat him to death and I won't mind ๐ That aside, Lero-Roooo my fav side character from S1 is back in action! ๐ All and all, I'm glad they animated the fight between Ran and Anaak goes well. Animation is less mediocre than before at least. Rak is finally meeting Bam and the hug is the cutest thing ever ๐ฅบ Now let's wait for when Khun can finally meet him for real ๐ช๐ป(which I don't remember when, but probably still a long way to go) |

| Color me surprised, they actually made a pretty good looking fight with the Anaak and Ran duel, of course some parts looked iffy but for the most part I thought they did a good job, without a doubt the best looking action sequence of Season 2 so far. Wasn’t expecting it to end the way it did tho, fucking Paracule lol, I’m not even mad tbh, that was kinda funny actually. And neither Anaak or Ran winning the duel meant most of the gamblers lost out, but I guess they’re not out for good yet since one of the Daft Punk guys mentioned a challenge for the eight losers, sounds like it could be interesting. And damn, even if it was for short scene, Endorsi really was looking amazing in that dress, funny how she still managed to be a highlight of the episode with just that lol. Also Bam/Viole is an ignition weapon too apparently, not sure if that Beta guy is completely trustworthy on that but it would explain why Bam is so epic. And I’m with some other folks on that Rak and Bam hug scene being too quick, it happened so fast that there really wasn’t time to feel emotional about it, it’s nice to finally see but yeah they sucked the impact out of it, the episode almost stuck the landing but not quite lol. |
| Huh, they actually spent a good amount of time on the Khun Ran vs. Anaak duel, I'm pretty happy about that. The choreography was good, unlike what they did to the Love vs. Viole fight in the previous cour. The animation still wasn't the best, but it's by far the best we've seen for this show since the first episode of S2 first cour. But yikes, they really sped-run through everything else and disregarded/skipped through a good amount of scenes. The Rak vs. Bam reunion was one of my favorite moments in the entire manhwa, but they totally did not do it justice here. They just skipped straight to the hug, which felt way too abrupt and I couldn't feel any emotional impact from it. |

| ugh the pacing is so bad, genuinely am hating how they've paced the entirety of this arc why the hell did they focus like 3/4 of the episode on the ran anaak fight but left like 10 seconds for bam walking towards endorsi and rak. plus they missed so much from the manhwa.. i'm really hoping that they dedicate some more time in the next episode to this, and don't just brush it away because honestly it was what i was most looking forward to see adapted. |

| Wait. This looked almost. Like an animation. I think Ran-Anaak duel was pretty alright. And Rak and Viole meet again. And best girls face of. I am definitely team Enhwa Yeon over Endorsi Jahaad for sure. And did Beta looked like MAGA guy in manwha as well? I don't remember lol. Lero Ro will be goat before arc ends tho, definitely. PS: for anyone who doesn't follow the story, dw, ToG doesn't usually make sense until everything clicks together each 100 chapters or so. It was released weekly, there is usually several plot points and multiple characters being followed at the same time. |

| Wait, is that actual good animation I see in a ToG episode lmao? Fairs the Anaak and Ran fight looked pretty good and had me engaged for once. That’s the sort of stuff we’re expecting in this cour and I hope the animation can stay decent. Lero-Ro back in the anime wow that’s a blast from the past. Good thing he was able to save Hatz there! So this Thorn that Bam is trying to get would give him control over his abilities and let him fight back against FUG? That’ll be interesting to see play out. Again though they cut out right at the end when stuff’s getting good, Bam and Rak reunion finally! Endorsi also looked amazing in her dress omg. Give me next episode now please. |

| They butchered whole reunion scene... I remember reading it for the first time and it was deeply emotional scene. And this... I don't even know how to comment. Saying it felt flat is understatement. It feels ridiculous. Absurd. Where is hesitance. Where is that emotional rollercoaster. Sacrificing himself for the sake for his friends by actively avoiding them. Desperation. No, none of this, meh. It feels like they casually met each other on the corridor after long no-seeing and the dino is overdramatic one. And there it was, one of the most emotional parts of the ToG. |

| The fight between Ran and Anaak was entertaining, but damn Paracule had to barge in and ruin it. And to top it off, everything after the fight felt rushed and confusing. One moment we see Endorsi in a low-cut dress (I appreciated that scene), and suddenly she's in a completely different outfit in a new location. At least the reunion scenes between Rak and Baam were touching. But it felt more impactful because of Rak's tears (at seeing such a proud and usually clumsy character get emotional) than it did because of the story development this season. |

| my god! they ruined the Rak hug scene! there was no emotional OST! if you read the Manhwa i teared-up on that Rak scene cuz he finally found black tutle Baam the 25th!!! THEY RUINED IT!!! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A GLORIOUS EMOTIOAL REUNION!!! cuz that's what i felt when reading the Manhwa... 1/5. |

| The moment you realize ToG has more fluidity in its animation than Blue Lock's current season... That aside, it sure is nice to finally see a decent-looking fight for once. Most of it still looked rough asf (and the conclusion was beyond lame) but hey, it was all still miles better than what we have seen till this point. As for highlights tho, I gotta go with Endorsi and Rak's moments as my favorite parts of the episode. Endorsi in that dress looked so mommy and smol Rak hugging Bam lowkey made my heart ache. |
