| Sweet fight. I don't get Deku's motive behind helping Todoroki. And his helpfulness annoys me, but it was a great fight overall. Glad more of Todoroki's past was revealed. That last bit got me hyped up too. Intense fight, had some pretty good animation. I can see why a lot of people like him. But I'll stick to the explosion boy. (I can tell this is Yuki Kaji's voice because it sounds so similar to the voice when Eren gets mad or determined in Attack on Titan. |

| Oh my god Kacchan saying boom boom janaiyo should be my message tone. What the fuck Nobu is killing me with that voice. When he was explaining how he uses his boom boom to the boys that’s like the most calm conversation he has ever had lol I started tearing up when those flashbacks happened as Todoroki was in the air. That was so cinematic. And when the tears subtly rolled down Todoroki’s face........my heart hurts. Todoroki needs a hug. Endeavour is such a bitch!!!!! And when Todoroki said thank you to Deku....I got the chills. Kaji Yuki has done it again. That was SO good. Todoroki has finally embraced who he is. I wonder what kind of friendship & development he would have with Deku from here on. Deku changed his life. Brilliantly directed episode & the animation was SO sick Easily a 10/10 episode |

| HOLY FRICKING MOLY!! what an episode! This single episode may carry the whole season lol. Midoriya still going on after the broken fingers was painful to watch...Todoroki just unleashed all the flame power! Endeavour is a fu*king bastard. He shouldn't be called a hero >:( If Midoriya had control over his quirk he would have beat Todoroki pretty early lol. He was kinda holding back and motivating Shoto to go further. |

| Best episode Yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Frikin Loved the clash between the boys!!! Deku was amazing giving it his all and also changing Todoroki in the process I support Deku's idea that Todoroki was not giving it his all by with-holding his Fire quirk (Half cold - Half hot) but Todoroki's not that dumb to not use it he had his reasons my boy had terrible childhood thanks to his Dad :( But I'm glad he could move on and use his quirk to the fullest :D , thanks to Deku Honestly he was incredibly powerful since he activated his left side This match was by far with out a doubt the best....I just cant stop expressing my love for this episode....this is definitely gonna be one of my favorite episode's this season...Frikin Enjoyed every minute of it ^V^ Once again I'll say "IT WAS AWESOME"!!!!!!!! |

| what the hell, they couldn't have made that any better. Deku didn't get absolutely destroyed, in fact, he probably would've win had todoroki not decide to unleash his left side. The thing is, deku wanted for him to go all out and give it his all, and he succeeded. He freed todoroki from himself, and that's the main focus of this episode, not who won. |

| That was the most intense match yet! Sadly, Deku lost, but I believe that he's partly okay with that, because he helped Todoroki accept himself, not to mention that there was no way that Deku would've recovered in time for the next fight anyway. |

| Another epic episode and this time it’s the fight against Deku and Todoroki. A fight that has been built up for quite some time and boy was it so intense of a fight right there. We finally got to see Todoroki’s backstory and my god it was so tragic if I didn’t already hate Endeavour as a character then I certainly do now because there is no way he can ever be seen as a hero when he treats his own son and his own wife like shit and just treat them tools for his own personal gain. The marriage was very arranged from the look of it and Todoroki’s mum must have been scared of him and all the stuff that was happening concerning her son must have been so maddening for her, that it got to the point where she was driven insane by it. God that determination from Deku was incredible even though he was suffering something fierce with One for All he was still trying to get through to Todoroki that his other side is also important to him and that part of his quirk isn’t going to remind him of his father but rather help him in battle and that it can Todoroki can raise above what his father expects him to be which is quite incredible I must say. And because Deku helped him, Todoroki won the fight I really think Deku made a difference in that fight and it shows that while he can control his quirk for the time being it shows that he can still be a good influence and help when he can when the situation calls for it. Once again well done to Todoroki, Deku you did well, it was a great fight all around again this episode was just so epic and sad at the same time. |

| Todoroki is just cool, the animation when he was about to unleash the fire part of his power was so nice. That said, I did not like this fight as much as I remember the first time I watched it. Deku is unnecessarily preachy and a little too reckless/self destructive for my liking, it's like he's aware that "he's living as the protagonist in a manga therefore he won't die" and he's playing by that rules and nobody else. The stuffs that he was preaching about didn't even make sense to Todoroki imo, the whole thing was just setting up for Todoroki to realize that he wants to be a hero for his own sake, but it didn't address the "not using his dad's power" part of the struggle. The narrative conclusion they came to was that it is his power too, but it also came from his dad so.. I'll reserve judgement until I am finished with the series. Todoroki is the star of the series for now. |

| From the preview of this episode, it's pretty obvious that Todoroki would develop in this episode, and use his fire. However, this episode also threw many expectations out the window by having Deku lose this tournament. I have a feeling that this episode is the best in the entire series. It is so far. |
