| OMG I didn't expect to transition to the present story this chapter. Fucking Saturn climbing up the ranks rather quickly to become one of the detestable characters in One Piece. In all this chaos, my boy Luffy somehow got food lol. And then ofc the big moment. Kuma. Bartholomew in the flesh shows up to give us what will be a thrilling but painful encounter with the guy who is the root of the tragedy that Kuma and Bonney have suffered. |

| That punch needs to land. Please Oda. It's probably the only way to get Saturn out of egghead too, which means everyone can escape relatively safe. Also is it me or Kizaru give food to Luffy AND blasted a few marines that were going to kill Kuma? Those two explosions looked very similar to his light fruit effect. |

I just read Kuma's whole backstory and everything is connected with each other all the way back to beginning of One Piece. This was a masterpiece of a backstory, though it was quite heartbreaking and cruel. Kuma went through so much in order to protect his family, but he lost all of them thanks to Saturn who just seems them as insects and used his wife as an experiment and his daughter as a bargaining chip. That's just fucked up.. I really wish Bonney knows that Nika is close to her and regains her trust in the legend. But, it's fucking time for Kuma to show Saturn his pain. |

| Hm at this point I'm thinking we have less than ~10 chapters left of this arc, there's still the SH's getting away, whatever Catarina Devon and Laffite are doing, the giant robot that was awakened earlier on by Luffy's G5 transformation, and Kuma's (very likely, but still possible to not happen) death, either way, man that ending panel with Kuma punching Saturn was all kinds of satisfying! |
