if we're being realistic he would die, but because tanjiro has insane plot armor like most main characters he would probably survive.

i already read the manga so i know what happens at the end muzan is insanely strong and so are kukoshibo and doma. im not sure if season four will adapt infinity castle arc seems like it wont but if it does even season four tanjiro is still to weak to beat muzan

He can't even take on a lower moon demon alone.

Lower 5 (Rui?) messed up Tanjiro good even with Hinokami Kagura.

For the DS mark Tanjiro, from all the fight in manga and anime, I am not sure if he can win 1v1 against any upper moon.

At best case scenerio, he beats upper 5(Gyokko) 1v1. Upper 4(Hantengu) is going to destroy Tanjiro in 1v1.

Even if I am wrong, he is never beating Upper 3 (Akaza) or anyone above him.

people saying that he would win definitely overestimate just how strong muzan is...

SPOILERS BELOW

he was struggling against weakened muzan in the sunrise countdown arc and could barely evade his attacks, sure he was also injured but if they came face to face with no debuffs then tanjiro would lose before he even gets a chance to attack him (considering that there is no plot armour)

I don't understand the survive option, one of them IS going to die.

Also, since the manga is over I'm guessing he killed muzan, but if you meant tanjiro right now, no, there's gonna be a hashira training arc for a reason i think.

i mean it doesn't feel like the cast gets stronger, just the villains getting weaker. Maybe muzan is the weakest of them all? I'll just chalk that up to sloppy writing though.
