| That chainsaw-man reference (!) was unexpected: It was a pretty good read. After reading the one-shot, the sudden "MC is secretly a demon powered overpowered character" revelation at the end of 1st chapter kind of fell... not what I'd want from this manga. |

| DUDE this shit was so raw for no reason what the fuck. I really didn't expect to love this so much after 1 chapter but I am completely sold. Sad that the serialization is so slow but if it brings this level of heat I don't mind. And Tao is so fucking bad omggg. |

| I'm excited for more, wish we didn't have to wait until September. I don't mind the new designs but the half-demon thing can only be done so many times. Really makes it feel like the entire shonen genre is a one-trick pony sometimes, but I have hope that there will be more to this series beyond that premise and look forward to it regardless. |

| The story took a weird turn from the one-shot Get Backers-like story to something more akin to Chainsawman. Tao now has larger breasts, her hair changed colours, her tattoos and piercings are gone and her left hand seems suspicious (probably the scarred left shoulder tattoo had its meaning change to whatever Tao has in her left hand). Alma can smell fibs? Kinda reminds me of Kimetsu no Yaiba's Tanjiro. So "problem solvers" is a side hustle, they are evil hunters, kinda sad that this manga is following the same path of what is popular now instead of being its own thing, even though that thing was a bit similar to Get Backers. |

| can relate to everything said in this thread. the thing that annoyed me the most and can sum up every bad thing regarding the changes: tao's larger boobs. yeah i can understand removing tattoos and piercings, japan's standards and whatever, but this? it's obvious this was settled to draw more attention from shounen fans, just like the rest of the new content, and I'm pretty sure it's a design demanded by the magazine. smh I wish I haven't read the oneshot before, this chapter would give out a much better 1st impression. but, eh, let's see how it goes. |

| One shots are like tv pilots, things will change and its not a bad thing. This was a great fist chapter. It did a great job introducing a bunch of characters and they were immediately lovable. Superb chemistry from the main two and I'm excited to read more. Also all the unintentional MAGA jokes are funny if not a little distracting for me. |

| Finally starting it after holding on for a long time. Tao-san is the one and only reason why I started this, but I'm hooked on the mysterious setting about the disappearance of people and other stuff. Alma is a nice kid as well, and his transformation looked so cool. The new sign that Luka drew for them was so fucking cool. Need more Tao-san in my life. |
