| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The premier of Inazuma Eleven Ares aired 2 episodes back to back in a 1 hour special. This series starts off with amazing animation and a super intriguing story. It seems as though the new Raimon eleven all don't have special techniques other than Sasuke. Also, the homages to the past series with characters that came back were a nice touch to the old fans of the series. I have to admit as well our new main team all have great designs and I can't wait to see them in more matches. Can't wait for fridays now. |

| it was beautifully animated, even for level 5's standards. they really upped their game for this new series. i'm hoping it stays consistent in quality. now if only we could get danball senki back... |

I suggest you watch the first 26 episodes of the original Inazuma Eleven, as this is a sequel to the first season. As for how dramatic that one is, there are some emotional aspects, but Ares was surprisingly dark compared to the original installments. |

Sure enough because the death of his mama came out of left field. And also how many episodes does Inazuma Eleven have as a whole collective, that would mean including Go and other adaptations ? 127+47+51+43 So 268 episodes in total. Still, that's the original timeline so it doesn't really have anything to do with Ares. Go 2 onward is pretty mediocre, but up to then is worthwhile to watch. |

Inazuma eleven does have dramatic element from time to time but it's usually not as sudden and random as that dead mother in the first episode. |
| What happened to the special episode announced last year? A variant of the second series of regular I11 to deviate from the original chronology. |
| I recognized multiple voices. Ryuhei Haizaki's VA is pretty well known, and that president girl is voiced by Rie Takahashi, my favorite VA, so that was nice. Pacing felt a bit too fast for me, and the mother dying out of nowhere was random and weird too. Maybe they're trying really hard to fit X amount of episodes into cours. |

| This is what I've been waiting for. Great start. Really looking forward to this. Back to the old school play (Though I will admit I loved Chrono stone, go and galaxy were lackluster AF) |
| The main protagonist trying to prevent the soccer field to be destroyed and his mother's death were really forced. But besides from that it was an legit awesome episode. The thing I was most suprised about was the extremely powerful and emotional OST. After Chrono Stone I thought I would never watch Inazuma Eleven again, but I'm definitely watching this one |

| Right of the bat the main guy has a tragic start, also didn't expect that Fire Lemonade hisatsu So Kidou joined Seisho's team, so far some old hisatsu techniques and a new pinguin move, curious to see some new moves |

| Why is everything so fast? From one second to another we are in the 1st FF match and they already are winning, this moves at 1000% speed lmao. Also they didn't even introduce the new characters properly, not even name drop for them. I don't like Asuto, his design is really lame compared to Endou or Tenma, and why did his mom die? Like, they want us to feel something for him so fkng fast that they killed both his team and his mom in like 2 minutes lmao, for real I can't get over it, his mom's death was overkill, there was no need for that XDDDDDDDDD What the fuck. |
