Maybe I should read the manga because I've been so confused this season. Why was Mechamaru fighting with Mahito? Why did the crowd want Gojo to arrive? The visuals of the fight were absolutely insane though.

Miwa talking to a lifeless puppet is sad... Mechamaru love her... He said everyone but only Miwa was on his mind during the fight...

Well... The Shibuya arc that every JJK Fans are talking about is finally here... Can't wait to see it.

God! I wish M-maru didn't have to die and he was able to have his real body shown to those he cared about. I'm worried about this train station, as if Gojo has to use his domain expansion here, that means the normal people around might die.

I guess this marks the start of the long-awaited and highly anticipated Shibuya arc. Let's see what this is going to be about. Let me hazard to guess. Geto is trying to get Gojo out of the way by locking him or some shit so he can easily and seamlessly carry out his plan of getting rid of the non-sorcerers/ normies.

I don't see the dimming y'all are talking about, but then again I have astigmatism so my vision is pretty messed up.

I sometimes forget to finish my sentences.

not sure what to make of that fight in the first half. it was mostly blurs. the actual fighting was nothing special imo. not even all that enjoyable. but the simple domain stuff and that weirdo body manipulator's strategies were interesting at least

you knew when it cut to that room with the girl talking to his robot that that was the sign he was dead. kinda sad. but that's the deal he made, with the devil. i don't blame him though; he just wanted a regular, healthy body

as for shibuya...finally gojo arrived. presumably it will get better now

Mechamaru never stood a chance. He should've run away when he had the chance and gotten protected by Gojo. Would've also given him a chance to use the large mechamaru against another opponent and actually win.

This show is fun, but I feel like it always slips on a banana peel and stops itself from being great.

Mechamaru makes a deal with the devil to overcome his disability. This is classic storytelling, compelling. There's a big fight, and the animation looks great. This is hype seasonal anime. The elements are in place for a great episode.

Then they go into their arbitrary metaphysics about how every attack works, which is just a verbose way of saying "look at something cool and unexpected that happened, here's how it makes sense with magical pseudo-logic." It just feels cheap. But I guess that's shonen.

@Nizamjarjin I don't get it. Right after Gojou is sealed, mechamaru suddenly appears out of nowhere with his super-cellphone (which works inside barrier where no other cellphone works because plot magic) and tells MC about sealing staff (because God himself told him about it?). It feels like in one episode there is 1+1=3 and in another 2+2=apple

The fight between Mechamaru and Mahito went well. The Shibuya Incident arc officially began now. Mentioning of time for each incident is good.

Mahito didn’t die sadly :(. But he did get pummeled a few times by EVA Mechamaru. It was pretty cool but I’m not really a fan of mecha fights. Rest of the episode was mostly buildup for the Shibuya Incident which I’m very excited about. And it was really cool seeing the parts of Shibuya in the anime where I’ve been as well.

- Mechamaru seemingly dead, I assume he’s not and will be used in the plan.
- Everyone in the middle of Shibuya is trapped in a vail? I assume the plan is to massacre them… uh oh, I’ve heard this arc is dark

Poor Mechmaru tried his best but alas a side character can't beat a major villain like that. I'd like to know how he managed to damage Mahito's soul with those pointy things. Were they some sort of special cursed weapons?

I felt like his farewell wasn't done well. I think the point when everyone including Miwa realises his act of bravery that'll be the final goodbye for him. RIP

The Shibuya incident feels quite sudden. It's kinda scary because we don't know shit about what is actually going on and what is gonna happen. Only Gojo entering the veil is kinda sus as it can be a trick to immobilise him for a while I guess?

Mechamaru went full on gundam level threat and was even willing to spend all the cursed energy he's built up just to exorcise Mahito and relay the information he has acquired to Gojo. I gotta commend MAPPA for the lack of CGI present in this battle, at least not that I knew of.

MMechamaru put up a decent fight all things considered but alas his attempt is fruitless. There goes the sole person who could've warned Gojo of the plans during the Shibuya Arc.

Mechamaru fight felt rushed and yet another asspull way of how a sorcerer evades certain death. It feels strange to say as so many anime pull fight time infinitely but in this case i think it would have been good, make things more tactical and logical and not always invent yet another way of how the opponent evaded certain death and managed to win.

Shibuya looks interesting but its hard to say anything more than that.
