That one seems pretty unrealistic considering the hives are only appearing on one part of his body? Maybe you're right about the psychological angle, that makes more sense than the alternative chicken pox or allergy to a person. It feels like Aki is in love with past Fat Masamune. She has trauma making her distrust all boys after he left. He should really come clean and explain to her, AFTER Yoshiono confesses. Because Aki WILL find out (stupid notebook) and then ... there will be even worse consequences. Lies take on a life of their own, and when eventually found out, it's never good. |

Lies take on a life of their own, and when eventually found out, it's never good. yeah. really goes to show how dumb the writing is here. making it look like the same kind of symptom someone with chicken pox would have broke my immersion for the show. making it hard to believe any of this could actually happen in real life. though i guess the premise itself is already not likely to happen irl. still, i'm liking the drama overall. it's better than s1 at least. felt like s1 wasn't going anywhere. on the other hand, i feel like s1 had better animation quality. can easily tell by comparing the visuals in the opening sequence between the two seasons. i really like both songs though. both are very catchy. wonder if the artist has sung in other anime series. Actually if he caught chicken pox IRL, wouldn't the spots be all over his body and not just the forearm where Aki touched him? Maybe she has some hand lotion that is interacting with his sweater sleeve causing the blisters? S2 is definitely better than S1, but like you I agree that S1 has better animation quality. |

It is actually 100x worse because Aki seems to be one of those extremely fast metabolism people who can eat a ton, and not gain weight. If they could patent her metabolism, we'd have a billion dollar health supplement company, since a ton of people are "on a diet." I hope he succeeds in clearing up the misunderstanding, but I don't have high hopes considering that idiot left his notebook out. Plus now I am worried that he has an eating disorder if he's had to spend time in the bathroom after eating. That can't be healthy for him. |

| That was a legitimately great episode. It was clearly never going to go smoothly but the rate at which everything is unravelling is quite something. |

| I’m liking the development of where this series is going currently. I hope it keeps it up without going the overly melodramatic route. Hopefully Makabe and Adagaki are able to resolve this. |
| Figured this was coming sooner or later. Now that the truth has been revealed behind the incident when they were children, this needed another conflict to keep the story going. And that's going to be the consequences of the revenge plan. I'm a little weirded out at how he's getting physically ill just by touching Aki. I feel like something else has to be at play here. Also Yoshino looked phenomenal in that Santa outfit. |
| Aki's birthday on Christmas Eve, Masamine is playing hard to get because of his clause with Yoshino, but for someone who has never been on a date before, not even his mother and Chinatsu are of any help. Even a Shoujo manga doesn't help either. Lots of work from both Masamune and Aki's sides, and then it's the day for the date...and nothing says fancy than a movie date. Too bad that Masamune didn't plan his Christmas date all that well, though his place is the only one that he is willing to put up with, and Aki goes along with him...which turns out, both his mum and Chinatsu are out to the hot springs, and it's both him and Aki left in the house. Welp, there is no choice but for Masamune to serve Aki some tea, but he couldn't find any, so they made some homemade pancakes with some hot cocoa. Obviously, Masamune wants to get Aki into the whole relationship shtick, and she does, though it doesn't suit his lifestyle, which he drags her to his room to find that the picture of their childhood still stands, though he's obviously changed for the better to get his revenge on her. But for some reason, he feels allergic to her that more than his hives, and Aki has no choice but to get the gift from his ccoat pocket, seemingly frustrated that she thinks that she herself is not appealing to her. The revenge notebook..the drama's all becoming clear... |

| You give me the rash, literally. Such a reaction is possible under high stress combined with eating more sugar than usual, lol. It was apparent that a relationship wouldn't be smooth sailing from here on, not when both Masamune and Aki aren't ready to move on from trauma and the past. While the premise of a home alone date at Christmas Eve was sweet, this series wouldn't be the same without making it extra complicated. |
