In terms of romance anime, what type of relationship do you prefer to be main focus?
| In this thread, we're not going to discuss anything related to topics about Homophobia and other political stuff. We primarily only discuss relationships and people's preferences when it comes to watching romance centred around BL, GL or NL. I know the majority of users of MAL are going to be male but still, I thought it would be interesting to discuss what are people's preferences when it comes to romance media. I know some women might also comment on this thread, it would also be interesting to hear your perspectives on this matter. |

| Even though my favorite ship is GL, I think BoyXGirl are always more likeable because most of the time anime’s don’t fully commit to BL or GL anyways. If personalities actually go well together, BL or GL could be nice. But i’ve avoided BL anyways so I guess that says something |

| Boy x Girl is what I prefer the most out of those three. Yaoi/BL is something that I just don't have any interest in. Yuri/GL is okay and watchable, but I'm not too crazy about it either. I personally don't seek out shows with yuri/GL in them. |

| Boy and girl is what I normally go for. Yuri is fine and watchable depending on execution, but I don’t actively look for these. Yaoi, respectfully I do not dare enter this territory. |

| According to statistics the queer community is a minority so by default heteronormativity is prevalent in media, but Anime and Manga are different and lot to them specifically create series in an attempt to accommodate the minority, unlike the abominable non-Japanese fictional series which are either homophobic or have erroneous representation |
