| didn't like that one bit, it's yet another samey feeling generic 90s action/fighting OVA. The living robot armor could have been an interesting twist but they are just child like and annoying. I hope the original is better than this. |

| Nagisa wanting to become a wrestler is most likely a plot point drawn from the fact of Iczer-3 seiyuu being a wrestler. Well, my guess. This Nagisa got an explanation pretty quickly...and got nude pretty quickly too...covered by a robot talking with a mix of English and Japanese words lol. Kiiro's low-angle shots got blackened, but Nami's didn't lol. Nice difference between a strip dancer (?) and an idol. Also, Kiiro *Iijima*? This can't be a reference to Mari Iijima, the seiyuu of Minmay, can it? |
| I enjoyed this first episode more than all of Iczer 3 OVA. Not saying it was great tho. |
| Nagisa was annoying in this one again, reminiscent of the beginning of the first Iczer 1 in that respect lol, but I guess it's meant to be a different Nagisa here; although it sounds like the same VA returned! (in fact I just noticed Nagisa was recast from 1>3, I didn't notice, I guess they sound pretty similar!). She actually has the least interesting design of all the Iczelions we've seen too haha, but overall they all look pretty cool! I could hear Goku as soon as that robot started talking, had to double check and is indeed the legendary Masako Nozawa, pretty neat! Not expecting a lot but onto the last ep in the Iczer saga! |
