| As expected from the creator of Baccano, there are already a lot of interesting characters. I also LOVE the OP and the ED is cool as well. Overall the first episode wasn't that great, but this is only the beginning! I'm really looking forward to more~ |

| Gah! The OP and ED are really catchy. I like the animation for the ED the best, pretty cool to look at. :D I'm liking all the characters so far, especially Masaomi. Oh, and Simon. XD Shweet. It looked like the headless biker on the black motorcycle had boobs. :| But that could just be me... |

I dropped the series 3 times just from the 1 ep, before I forced myself to continue... Hmm been a while since I saw first episode of Baccano and you are actually right, I take back my comment about being slow. I really should rewatch it again :S. As for this, it is already much better then Baccano... This, Ookami Kakushi, Baka to test to shoukanjuu and Nodame Finale (even if it hasn't aired yet) are definitely the best 4 this season. |

| I never watched Baccano, but if it is as hyperactive as people here seem to imply it to be, I might try and crank it out before the next episode of Durarara. The subbing of the names was a little wonky in the version I watched, but I eventually got the hang of it. As for the actual episode, while it may have a felt a bit slow at times, I think it effectively set up the rest of the series fairly well. Voice acting was good, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Daisuke Ono's crazy vending machine chucking character. OP and ED were pretty legit. ED gives me a K-pop vibe. |

| Definitley lived up to all my (rather high) expectations. Can't wait to see more, and I'm excited to see that this will be 24 eps instead of being shorter like Baccano. Love the OP, and the little nods to Baccano! were cute. :3 Can't wait to find out more about this mysterious motorcyclist and the girl they ran into... She was with a guy in the OP/ED, wonder if he's going to help her out of whatever situation she's in... |

| Well, right off the bat we know that the motorcyclist is a girl, that's instant win for me. Attacking with a scythe...and being HEADLESS? It just gets better and better! xD I love how they give almost all the characters some screen time, really awesome. And it's minor similarities to Baccano! is just...love. Interesting character designs and promising plot! :] This definitely has potential to entering my top 5. |

| Sometimes things do work out as expected as the first episode was a winner, and without a doubt the best one I've seen this season. Great OP and infectious ED. The kids are laid back and a lot of fun. And people should cut Mikado a break as he's never really had an opportunity to step into the outside world until now. The setting they've created is vibrant and I found myself being drawn into it. Despite the hint, the headless biker is still mysterious enough for me. If I had to boil this down to 4 words, it would be: Fun. Cool. Awesome. Horo. Eagerly waiting for the installment. |

| I loved it. I know I'm probably jumping the gun with it being the first episode and all, but it was so damn good. I'm 100% positive that this is my favorite show for this season. And to my surprise (since I haven't even heard of Durarara!! until this season) that it is by the same author as Baccano!, made my day. I'm watching it and in the background I could have sworn I saw Isaac and Miria on a billboard. Though I'm still rather confused with all the names (I didn't watch gg subs because I heard of all the confusion with names) I had to stop myself half the time just to remember what the main character's name was. And the headless motorcyclist being a girl, that's just awesome. I love how the guys kept calling her a guy. I'm looking forward to the next episode. (I think I might have said love one to many times in here, haha) |
| Black Biker is a girl. The OP shows her true face for a second and a half, and she has boobs in the ED. |

This is definitely my fav of the season so far, but that's not sayin much so far. Can't wait for more, and now I'm hoping the Light novels come stateside, but I'm still waiting on Baccano so not getting my hopes up...Urahara Out!! |

| Read a bit the novels from Baka-tsuki but it's more fun watching the episode. I imagined the 'fight' scene to be a little longer. From the opening and what I saw of the characters so far, I like everyone. Lots of mystery characters. Glad I'm not the only one who now thinks that the biker thing/person is a girl. |

| Hmmm okay first episode had a slight Baccano vibe but still hasn't got me excited like Baccano did of course seeing as it's the first episode I would be surprised if it did, but I guess for the time being I should stop comparing it to Baccano and just see how it goes xD although they did show Baccano on the tv screen and lmao at Horo xD |

| Intriguing first episode but didn't excite me. Slow-paced as an introduction and has a very nice flow. Looking forward to coming events and more speaking roles for Hiroshi Kamiya and Fukuyama Jun. The male cast is just great >_> watched it because of this at first. On a side note, I vote Durarara with best OP of the season. kanyegate to anyone who says no. |

| Wow. This is an indeed an intriguing episode. That headless person was the most interesting for me. Awesome seiyuu cast for this show. Can't wait! OP and ED were the best. Can't even try to skip them. Definitely a promising show. |
