| Oml the Engrish leveled up another level with Loki's VA joining the fray. The "if you open your legs up easily, people will think you're a loose guy" line cracks me up. Seeing Rin getting pissed off at Bachira and the other team members' antics and idiocy was pretty funny too. And Shidouuuu my boy! Didn't expect him to be voiced by my favorite VA (Yuuichi Nakamura) but I definitely ain't complaining. Sad Kunigami didn't pass the second selection - other than Bachira, he was my favorite. I liked his personality and aspiration even though some may find him and/or his dream childish and boring. Overall, gonna give this show a 7.5/10. Very fun watch. Didn't like most of the characters in the beginning, but the show as well as the characters' chemistries/dynamics picked up during the Team Z vs. Team V match. The second selection arc was great, especially with the thrilling game format, but it definitely could've been much more enjoyable if only the animation didn't drastically drop in quality. To top it all off, the edginess and cringe dialogue makes the show all the more amusing to watch. Love how this show doesn't take itself so seriously. Could've been an easy 8/10 anime for me if only the animation was better. Fingers crossed that next season's animation would improve drastically, especially for the upcoming big match. Pleasantly surprised Nagi's spinoff is also getting animated - into a movie, no less - but I'm definitely looking forward to it as well as the second season! |

| Interesting final with Ego burning up his speech toward those diamond in rough about another big match awaiting their asses, which honestly understandable since BL project also under the pressure to being closed up by the big boss. A bit sad with Kunigami, not surprise with Raichi tho. Since i saw him on the latest manga cover, so no way he's not passing. But why the monk dude also passed the selection? Dang what a twist. So i can't wait to see more of those new guys getting a screen time, and the producers grant it by another season already. Guess this is a big W result for BL enjoyer, and many more announcement making this whole week actually feels like a grand bliss. So yeah, see you around at the next season! |

| The hypest (is this even a word) anime this season. While watching this I found myself shouting and clapping from all the excitement. I loved the atmosphere and the characters, everyone of which could be protagonists of their own. The designs were fire too. How they used the aura to indicate someone devouring someone else was a really nice addiction. I especially loved Ego's speeches about luck and talent, they can be applied anywhere, not only soccer. And the music was really nice too, really set the mood. I've listened to the full version of the second opening countless times. The one thing that could be improved is the animation. But to me the visuals were still satisfactory. Post anime depression hit me as I finished this episode. But we've got season 2 and episode Nagi movie coming up, so we've got something to look forward to! 9/10 |

| That engrish was gold, last episode felt like a good wrap up I love Blue lock's concept of Ego and not teamwork, etc but the dialogues are way too over the top I thought the selection process were streched as hell, 2nd half made it just a bit better. Visuals and music was good, overall good and engaging story |

| Hype! A little unfortunate they cut out the Shido vs Kunigami match but I suppose they didn't have enough time to put it into the same episode. Regardless, excited that S2 is in the works! This was easily my favorite anime to come out of 2022 without a doubt. |
| A roller coaster ride of emotions. A special approach to the game of football, good animations and a lot of interesting players and moments. I'm looking forward to the 2nd season. 7/10 ~good |

| The first season of Blue Lock anime has ended. Can't wait for the next kick-off! The U-20 Japan vs Blue Lock eleven. It's my favorite match in the manga so far. I'll give it a 8/10 for this season. |

| Shidou seems like an important character later on, but what an asshole. That said, realistically being teenager athletes handpicked from across the country, I expected more guys like him in the competition who would cause trouble. |

| this episode was the weakest one in the whole season tbh kinda disappointed how that match ended like that in like 2 mins this whole season was on fire except this last episode i was very disappointed by it it was ok at best |

| Of course they lost against the world best scorers xD Though it's hype for what's coming next, some of them didn't make it through the qualifications sadly but that's the concept of a sports battle royale |

| Man, every week I was waiting patiently for a new episode. Enjoyed my half year of Blue Lock. I was a long time ago I watched a show that got me on the edge of my seat every week. Looking forward to the second season. What a great few months for football anime (Aoi and Blue Lock). 9/10 |

| they fucking killed ichigo for Reo and the clown that was lowest rank? he was too kind for this world of edgelords so it makes sense i guess i was pretty close to dropping this show with it's over the top premise but once you put aside how dumb it is and just live for it's hype shounen-ness of edgey glowing eyes it's highly entertaining if only the animation could keep up with it (visually the show looked nice but those were just still shots) anyho big fan of new character drops and the designs were all the charts but i kinda feel like im already seeing personality repeats with the amount of the 2nd season cast the hook for S2 was good so im looking forward to more dumb not soccer soccer 7.5 for this season as someone that normally does not care for this sport in anime typically i can't say this one really won me over compared to something like Ao Ashi but again this ant soccer |

| So many years of speaking English and only now am I realizing that I have been pronouncing Wednesday wrong all along. Ya learn something new every day. That Top 5 match didn't last very long now, did it? For the U-20 match, they should focus a bit more on their physique. If S2 is as good or better than Part 2 of S1, then I'm most certainly looking forward to it. |
