| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Haha, great and quick fight. I remember someone mentioned it was going to be a quickie. Looks like they were right. I had a feeling that Luffy was going to grab onto one of the flying fish and fly with one. And it seems he caught a glance at under the mask of Duval. AND he recognized him. And with Duval's seemingly lack of a mad response towards Luffy, his rage may just not be directed at our rubber hero. I wonder if we'll be unveiled to his identity next chapter. Brook's attack looks pretty interesting. The rest of the crew just needs to be careful not be all fall victim. ^_^ |

| those kidnappers were really stupid to take on the SH. did they seriously think that a group that has taken down Enies Lobby would be a pushover? D: the best part about that was Chopper and Brook were the ones who attempted to save him from drowning. hilarious stuff by Oda. Oda sure left his readers hanging another week to reveal Duval's identity. the lines used by Luffy when he saw Duval doesn't make things any clearer. EDIT: Loved the cover page. woot for CP9. I'm hoping that the next mini-arc would focus on them. it'd be funny if they all tried to get normal jobs. lol. |

| Great chapter, yay for Strawhat action!! Lol I also loved how Chopper and Brook jumped to save Luffy... so ironic. XD Brook's attack though was awesome. Music is power! :D Nggh. Now I can't wait for next week, maybe Duval's identity will be revealed? I just really hope it's not one of those "Its you! Wait... Who are you?" ("Daree?") lines. XDD |

Agreed, I said it was going to be a fast fight, they are not even at merman island yet, so they would not overextend it! Luffy loved interesting stuff, its no surprise there :P But indeed i knew Chopper would try to save him, he's done it before, but now we also have Brook :P Lastly, the CP9 can get a normal job!!! They could get their previous jobs as shipwrights/ secretaries/ barman!!! :P |

I'm still going to stick with my initial gut feeling that Duval was never after Luffy to begin with. But now that Oda made Luffy catch a glimpse at under the iron mask, it would point to the fact that it IS Luffy that he's after. Otherwise, wouldn't it make more sense for Oda to have someone else see his face? Hmm....*goes back to contemplating.* |

| Awesome attack by brooke, i totally forgot he could run on water! funny how hachi took care of those three so easily xD ussopp needs to quit admiring his shot and shoot down more fish. woo one down now keep shooting!! since most all the other characters aside from franky have to wait for them to come close. man i have a bad feeling theyre gonna keep duvals identity secret for awhile longer, hence putting the mask on wihout letting us see who it was. |
