The other students plot line makes me wish they all died already because they're wasting my time, I don't care about them, they're so boring I want to gouge out my eyes every time the scene switches to them. |

Well in all honesty, as much as I love Kumoko and this Isekai, I don't think I would be that much interested in it if there was only Kumoko. Her grinding stuff is annoying and for me the weakest part of the story. Shun otherwise adds many informations to the world, mysteries, and idea where the story goes, he also introduces new characters (like Ariel, Julius, Sophia and Potimas) that would have much less impact on Kumoko side if they weren't introduce earlier. And that's one of the many reason why the manga is so bad. |

The finale finally brought the two timelines together! The whole robot machine stuff felt like it came outta nowhere. The last few episodes were also kinda slagging to me. Overall though, I loved the kumoko part way more and the whole janky cgi was honestly fine to me because I'm terrified of spiders and this way made them bearable. |

It comes out of nowhere in every adaptation actually ^^ But the fact that Gülie was not surprised to see a smartphone in episode 9 let suppose that the world is (or was) more advanced than it looks like. |

I think the anime was enjoyable but I disliked the constant timeline jumps I wish they rather had longer time for each. Was rooting for the humans but was shocked to see demons in the right. That shocked me. Anyways concluding, the show was a good binge show to watch but I still wish they had another episode for the humans felt unfinished. |

So much revelations in the final episode of the first season of So I became a Spider, So What? anime! I would like to see more of this animated! - So, that White Girl is Kumoko herself!? She finally reached her wanted wish! To have a human body. - So, The Demon Lord Ariel is actually trying to save the world!? I see how and why the Demon Army really wanted to eradicate the elves from the world since just like what Demon Lord Ariel said about the elves, they are the pest of the world. Haha, looks like what Kumoko thought of elves as suspicious robbers and stuff like that instead of creatures being loving and caring. She was right that the Elves were up to no good. Also, the Demon Lord Ariel acts cutely ever since the Body Brain of Kumoko entered The Demon Lord Ariel's soul, or rather merged. - So, Potimas has clones of himself as robots!? It sounds just like Kumoko's learned skill, "Egg Revival", except, Kumoko revives supernaturally while Potimas revives scientifically. - So, the world which they currently live in was already an advanced civilization!? That explains why the elves had that really advance mecha robots lol. Also, I wonder what kind of technology Potimas holds to be able to destroy the entire world. WHEN IS THE SECOND SEASON OF THIS ANIME COMING |

That was quite a fun, easily bingeable series in the end. The only slight annoyances I had were the shoddy CGI scenes that didn't mash together well at all with the rest of the animation, and the lack of exposition regarding most of the students. I liked how it didn't hold your hand with the separate time lines and how it came together at the end of the series. Potimas was always shady, but never would have thought it would be driven to him vs everyone else at the end of episode 24. And now that the Hero has taboo level 10, he also knows the truth, so the students will soon be on board eventually. 8/10 overall, yeah, I think Isekai is meant to be binged in the end. I'm not sure if I would have liked this as much as I do, if I went one episode a week pacing. |

wow... without those cgi i would have rated this anime higher ngl. I can understand if they use it for mecha and some weird monsters but fuck no they had to use cgi for even the characters... anyway, i have not read the web/lightnovel nor the manga but this anime was very satisfying story-wise for me |

this not better end like WN comment on wiki site USER, SageM. 07/04/2022 She's reduced to almost nothing at the end of the web novel. Being nothing more then a plaything for D and Meido, not to mention she is trapped in an insect cage so she can't even do anything to defend herself. One of the few Isekai's were a character that became OP, ends up as a weak as newborn baby by the end and loses all the advantages they originally had. Kind of ironic, but I guess there was no other way to finish the story in a way the fans could accept. https://kumodesu.fandom.com/wiki/Shiraori it has to end like this she and her tem beat D for one |

Unpopular opinion but the spider part was probably the weakest part of this anime. I like her seiyuu but I think she doesn't made good jokes or the comedy is forced. The other part is more interesting but the bad animation is constant. But I have high hopes for a possible S2. 6/10 for the anime. |

Just finished it. Didn't really get how Kumoko survived that attack. Does that mean one of her consciousnesses died? As for the show as a whole, to quote "A tale of two cities", "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times". Kumoko's time was pretty awesome and enjoyable, while Shun's time, other than a couple bright spots like their trip through the dungeon, was pretty damn lame and not interesting, not to mention it stopped at a pretty damn weird point. Would have been better if they stopped it at the beginning of the elf battle and left the rest of the episodes to Kumoko. Heck, I heard that apparently the Manga completely ignored the future time, and I wish the anime would have done the same. It would have been much more interesting and enjoyable, and we would have gotten a lot more of Kumoko and progressed the plot a lot further too. I hope for a Season 2 that has way more Kumoko and way less Shun. PS: Did Sophia in the future time call Kumoko "Master"? and who really killed Shun's brother, if he even actually died? |

I enjoyed the heck out of this show (except for E21-23)! The budget trouble clearly caught up with them towards the end, but this show had so much to love! (Mostly) good fight scenes, lots of characters with varied motivations, and a FANTASTIC job by the lead VA! Also 4 banger songs! Although I subtract points for the quality drop leading to the end, I still rate it an 8 (ya know, for spiders XP)! |

I like this anime, but i don't like the 3D and the story of the manga is more centered on the spider, and personnaly i prefer to see only the spider rather than see the story of the human/other class members. And i prefer the manga because it's a manga ^^ |

I found this series to actually be quite enjoyable and really easy to binge while I was off from work. Obviously the spider part was the highlight, actually found myself laughing during those segments (especially the "wait she is a shotacon" part). I think this series has some really interesting concepts for an isekai and I think it actually got me interested in the light novels. Overall I gave this a 6/10 for the animation issues and the human plot, especially them fighting at the end, seriously just tell them what's up lol. |

And thats now my second re-watch finished. Wanted to re-watch this and get through the light novel while I was at it and as always, a great series. I cant wait to get through the anime portion to the adventures of Kumoko, Ariel and Sophia. Especially when Kumoko and Ariel will get closer cause they are technically grandmother and grandaughter. Well in term of the light novel and at the part where she gets out of the cave so time to binge read. (Edit: Didnt realize I said the exact same thing back in Aug 2021 lmao. Ok this time I'll get through the anime portion) |

5/5 Lessened usage of CG and a happier status for our new heroes. Leads to a higher scoring for me. Overall though I enjoyed my time watching the spider. Especially the interactions with best girl Demon King. Her cheery vocality in the dub made her scenes overall much better. Than I figure they otherwise would've been. It was just a good fit for her. The second cour's OP was also an improvement over the other offerings. And I just liked it better. Here's hoping we gain a season 2. Focusing on the true™️ heroes. As they valiantly save the world or something equally spidery. |

The story is somewhat interesting and Kumoko is a joy to watch, but the presentation is the most horrible thing that I've ever witnessed in a popular anime. The art and animation is trash, the sound effects are inadequate, all the CGI except for Kumoko, sucks hard, but the biggest offender is the storyboarding. The anime is filled with shots where you can't tell what's happening, if not for the voice acting. There is an overuse of panning shots, Dutch angle shots and shots which are way up close and there is a serious lack of establishing shots which establish the location and/or characters in a scene in one frame. Some important actions are outright skipped. For example, that one scene where Hugo storms out of the classroom for some reason. We were never shown what happened since they skipped it. Hell, the camera wasn't even pointed on that, like wtf? Other examples include several finishing blows in fights where the shot would only stay for a fraction of a second onscreen. This is simply incompetence on director's part or whoever controls the cinematography. No amount of budget and time was gonna fix this. That being said, I'd say Kumoko's adventure was quite fun to watch as it didn't have as much problems as the human scenes or had it to a lesser degree. However, her side of story suffered from bad CGI all around. All the monsters she fought felt weightless and didn't seem to exist in the same world. What a bummer. The anime had so much potential that was wasted just because the studio was incomptent. The anime deserved better. |

It's Amazing, also i think it's very underappreciated i mean i suppose people don't think that i would be great cause of the whole spider thing BUT YOUR WRONG its one of my favourite anime out there and I'm really begging for a season 2 which i don't often feel that way when there hasn't been any response on one but for this one im literally going to lose it if they say there's no season 2. |

Okay! I'm fine with the entire plot WELL DONE! INTERESTING STORY... BUT WTF then? Why didn't Spider Team at least TRY talking to the Hero team. They had so many chances; but they decided the Evil Hugo plot line instead. Like straight up; the Evil Hugo Plot line was literally the dumbest story thread and it literally made recruiting the Heroes impossible. Hell, we could even double down on the question of why was the involvement of any soldiers necessary? It is VERY clear that the world operates on Power Levels; WHICH IS FINE... but then you need to ask... WHY ARE THEY BOTHERING WITH FODDER? Those low level soldiers are literally irrelevant, hell they are arguably counterproductive since your soldiers dying will make the enemy gain levels as was proven several times during Spidergirl fights... Spider Teams goal to kill the evil Potimas is great, 11/10 Spider Team randomly creating mass war for no reason just makes them weirdly and inexplicably evil... If Spider Team had approached the Hero team saying that Potimas is evil, blah blah, he's a robot trying to destroy the world, blah blah, manipulating everyone... The Hero team would have probably joined in... or least stayed out of the way, since Elf Teacher made sure everyone in Hero Team stayed low level trash. |

Well the spider team wanted Shun to be out of the picture (the Hero Title is a huge threat for the Demon Lord), so they put Hugo as the new Hero and framed Shun for murder in the hope to stop any intervention from him... but as you see, it completely backfired with Shun deciding to stop Hugo. And since they're in the middle of a battle, they can't really afford to discuss anything (and Sophia is not really the type of person to sit down and talk about things xD ). |

Well, Ariel's group were occupied for 10 years with other things (mainly the Great Human-Demon war's preparations and the Elves Village attack), Shun only started to be a problem after he became a Hero. The Light Novels have an entire book based on what happens behind the scene when Shun had to flee his Kingdom and his travel in Elroe Labyrinth (a book that should be given more credits in my opinion). |

Well I had fun watching the small spider growing up and was bored to tears by the so vanilla human fantasy part, to the point that I ended skipping the humans sections just to watch the spiders ones. Since we reached a point when there will only be this human part, I guess I'll skip any second season altogether. |

I really enjoyed watching, Kumoko was a delight and so hilarious I love her so much. The bad thing about this show is the Hero, he's a loser, the human side in this story is boring. there a few characters I'm into like Sophia and Wrath, I want to know more about them, and I still think the Hero and his party are boring and useless, Potimas was shady as hell from the get-go so I wasn't that surprised to find out he's the true villain. anyway, there's more to this story so I hope we get a second season soon. My Score: very good Been a while since I liked an Isekai show this much |
