| lmao who tf checks out ero mags when out on a date. ah nothing prepared me for the train scene. damn. been ages since i felt this much cringe and second-hand embarassment. ^i wrote that after watching the train scene. now that i've watched the cinema scene, oh boy what a terrible day to have eyes. it was somehow worse than train scene and for some reason people hate on kazuya more like wtf? kazuya is a legit chad compared to itou however you see it. hmm that was pretty easy. that kiss defied all logics. wasn't Katsura uncomfortable being with itou? it felt like that but then just by listening to Sekai's speech Katsura's (clearly malfunctioning) brain cells landed upon the decision to kiss itou. damn. one more girl is introduced too. this was at least entertaining. nothing more to say. |

@Adnash guy has never dated and is getting advice from a girl who has different preferences than Katsura🤷♂️ he just doesn’t know dating it’s not like it’s exactly selfish
| @Lost_Hearts When it comes to dating, yeah, he lacks experience and decided to ask for an advice a girl that has different view on relationships. But in terms of empathy and social interactions in general, his behavior can't be described in any other way than selfish. He hasn't lived for years in a secluded area to forget, or not know at all, how basic human interactions should look like. |

It’s a love triangle, big shock (not). I’m going to continue watching, since I know there MUST be a reason people hate this so much besides just plain boredom (because trust me, there are a LOT of boring anime out there with far higher ratings than this). Just as a side note, if this was airing as a seasonal, I most likely would have driven it already, lol. |

| Makoto comes across as a hormonal, impulsive teenager who is having a hard time dealing with social cues, or romantic outings he hasn't yet familiarised himself with. I suspect that was the intention with his character too. Still, it's apparent that he's making an effort to read the room, despite Kotonoha's mixed signals. |

What's with all the "panning up with a dutch angle" shots?
| @D-ohnuts LOL, I noticed that too! Well, my guess is that since dutch angles have a menacing vibe, this is a way to foreshadow that there is a darker element coming up some time in the future. Combine that with the fact that they're speedrunning the usual romance tropes, and I suspect there's a dark twist on the way. Not sure when, or exactly what it's going to be, but I definitely feel like there is something sinister that they're hinting at. |

| It still seems like a pretty typical high school romance, although I feel like some of the storylines could go in a weird direction and I predict that's going to be the reason people hate this anime so much xD The MC is still awful but still not bad enough to particularly hate, overall it's pretty good so far, the plot/character relationships are moving along pretty quickly and it doesn't seem like it's going to go in circles like other anime of this type I've watched. 3/5 |
