| They just don't. Like they wouldn't even have any anime in their ptw and even say they are burned out when I can give them a list of so many good anime. It's definitely Hunter X Hunter and Ranking of kings for me. They are like "I don't watch anime with kids in it. Maybe if there was like a really sad story, the mc was exploited and avoided, or if there was death and blood" like bruh |

| Anything older then 2 years, if it's not new or has sequels coming out people won't touch it. It's sad but I now know how people watching the "Golden Age" feel like when they have so many classics but people only want the new, popular stuff. I've had a little success with Code Geass when the sequel movie was released but eh, more peer pressure and everyone was hyping up the new movie then a serious recommendation The only real success I've had was Cowboy Bebop, they weren't interested in the first 2 episodes but I said get to episode 5, if you hate it at that point I will never bother them with it again. They watched episode 5 then proceeded to finish the series at 3 in the morning |
| None of my RL friends watch anime. They think it's all lolis and nosebleeds. So I don't even bother trying. Well, theres one of my friends who watches anime but his taste is stuck in the VHS days. Because I like K-On he seems to think I am some kind of surface level weeb. It's really annoying when he starts telling me about "mature and obscure" anime like Hajime no Ippo and Macross. He's never even heard of MD Geist! |

| I recommended popular shounen to my friends (4 of them) when I introduced them to anime and all 4 of them dropped full-metal alchemist, NHK, and HunterXHunter. |
