| Holy shit, Kira-kun was seething with anger and frustration and rightfully so. Even if this was a 'logical' game, it didn't make sense for the players to be literally banned from national/international soccer. Bachira's "monster inside me" mindset makes me cringe so hard bruh. It's like those 13 y/o girls putting 2 dots on their necks and pretending to be a vampire after watching Twilight π One thing that bugs me about all of this is the fact that they are making a striker play as a goalkeeper. That shit is way too absurd. Goalkeeping and playing on the frontlines is a totally different things. There is little to no correlation between them. The dude who'll play as the goalkeeper for Team Z would be at a disadvantage, won't he? He wouldn't be able to improve much on his skills and wouldn't be able to prove himself either. Excited about Team Z vs Team X. Baseless episode yet I fucking enjoyed the hell out of it. Weird. 4/5 |

| So basically this is soccer but not really soccer. This anime is edgy but honest to its core so it's actually FUN, however I need to put in mind that, again, THIS IS NOT SOCCER and that's supported by the statement of that dude who looks like Midousuji saying that they needed to forget about the soccer that they knew and create it from scratch. Realizing that this isn't soccer made it easier for me to accept this anime as it is. |

| I resonate with Anri's ideals as blue lock PR.She didnt have to answer any questions and walked off like a mic drop pro. Comfort in just playing in the world cup is for pussies like fatso guy who just wanted money. No longer will anyone just stay content with what they have. You eat the monster within you or you get crapped by it. Glad that cocky brat got locked out at the beginning of the episode. He was a hypocrite, willing to make MC hit on the weak because he didnt want him coming to eliminate him. Even after last episode when he was trying to say it wasnt unfair but still went when others did. Glad he got to understand how he would have stood for jackshit in a penalty game. You are the striker of your own game. Never stop at just being content in your position of defender or goalie or whatever the fuck you think is ok. Like the fictitious player Noel Noa said, its better to hit hat-trick goals and lose than just put the one goal and win. |

| I love unpredictable characters like Bachira in the "battle-royale" genre so he's definitely someone to look out for in the arcs to come. Won't even put it past him to do something that'll break Isagi in the near future too |

| Think I’m gonna struggle with giving a shit about the dreams of the characters cause as a British person I already have a very solid opinion on football (soccer) and that it’s not a good one. BUT… hopefully these characters will be enough to make me care about their dreams beyond my dislike of the sport. I already love Bachira who is unapologetically odd! |

| To be honest, I'm not vibing with the OP, just doesn't sound right, the visuals are awesome but the music just doesn't hit it out for me. Quite unusual. The ED's visuals have yet to be seen but the music sound quite relaxing. Ego's and Anri's speech on their desire and goal to reinovate and destroy the current football trends in Japan still sends shiver down my spine. Now that the into-eps are over, we're finally getting into a real match next ep. |

| rip Kira, I thought Isagi hit the guy with the higher rank. Bachira you crazy ass, I was hoping to see Kira and Isagi duo up (cause Kira was so kind to Isagi when they first met), but now Kira is mad and upset, there really is a monster inside of Bachira; he knew Isagi would kick the ball. That press conference was crazy, the hope to win the world cup is ambitious and intense. Gruimu ranked up to 275 but is still in dead last, he was happy for nothing, rip. Next episode is a match against Team X, this is exciting |
