| Instead character transported to another have two worlds fused together weird so it just confuses everyone from both worlds. Two characters from different worlds swap places and it’s basically opposite for them in some way. |

| I think it would be interesting to have a spoiled rich or popular person as the protagonist rather than the typical lowlife NEET. Then they'd be sent to a world where life wouldn't be as easy for them, and they'd learn to become more grateful and adapt to change. And also, they'd eventually return to their home and be reunited with their family as a changed person rather than staying in the other world forever. |

| a while ago I made a post about wanting an Isekai Anime that is about a guy that presumably lived greatly in his past life, and it's suddenly summoned, and he holds a grudge towards those that summoned him, and he ends up ultimately betraying them after finding out he was going to get disposed of. Apparently, there are a couple of novels that are like this, so I can check them out, but I haven't read them yet. |

| Isekai, where the guy was actually happy in real life with beloved family and life figured out, not an aimless loner like they usually are. So when summoned to another world he is unhappy, he doesn't just accept this as new reality. He ignores all the harem characters, and genuinely tries to find a way to come back to his real world to his real wife. |

| an isekai where the person is transported to a dimension where they just simply exists. they doesn't have a body, just their consciousness. the dimension is a place where memories can be seen. the person is then subjected to the memories of his friends and family basically he's shown their life after he's gone. now from here it can go two ways; first it's like the person was really loved by his fam and friends so he has to suffer seeing what his parents are going through after he's dead, he has to view all their suffering and then we can expand upon the suffering. second is like the person was hated by his family and he sees his parents act glad that the person is finally gone. so again more suffering. in this isekai, our protagonist will just suffer for the most part. it will be just suffering for eternity. once his family and friends are dead he will be subjected to the horrifying and painful memories of people all over he world. now the protagonist will be able to experience those memories first hand, even after having no body our protagonist will feel pain, lots of pain. this will continue for several thousand years. then after that when our protagonist has been desensitized to everything and is incapable of even thinking on his own, a miracle will happen and he will suddenly become god. it will take a few years for protagonist to comprehend what happened and after that when they will gain consciousness, the god will go all evil and then kill and torture every single human being in every way imaginable, whether it be tearing people's assholes apart while they are alive or parents made to see their children getting eaten by dogs. the god's wrath will continue as it has gone insane now and when finally there are no humans left on earth. the god will become the first human of earth and create a woman and then everything will begin anew. |

| I was just thinking the other day, that Isekai don’t focus on the process of DYING to get to another world enough. So here’s my twist: Mc gets into a car accident and barely survives. They are now in a hospital and currently stuck in a coma where they occasionally gain more awareness or lose it. But they don’t have a high chance of waking up. Because of this loss and gaining of awareness they can interact with both worlds: In the real world they can hear when people talk to them: All the heart-wrenching monologues of whoever visits at the time (family/friends). But they obviously can’t answer. Meanwhile in the Isekai-world we have a very typical plot: A prophecy that needs to be fulfilled, harem options, op bullsh*t etc.. The protagonist is now in the situation, where they actively try to get back to their world, to ‚wake up‘ and get back to their family. Also when they gain a little bit more consciousness in one world, they loose it in the other. So there are days where they can’t hear the people by their hospital bead, or days when they feel and hear them so clearly, that they loose the ability to move in the fantasy world. They ignore the prophecy, the harem, the magic, the op powers. The one goal, to get back home, is always present, because they still have half their consciousness in the real world. They hear their loved ones crying, and that brings motivation. Also because they feel both worlds the thought of DYING is so present that it terrifies the protagonist and leads to a very solemn mood the entire show, if not an outright depression in the Mc. Would be more interesting than the same formula with the harem and op powers over and over again. What do you think? |
