| Seems like this will make for an entertaining show! Those pictures, in the end, prove that he's actually the father? I thought maybe they may have been forged but his reaction seems to suggest otherwise. Just when we thought we'd have to wait about half a year or so for the next Spy x Family, we've got something similar in essence airing now. Sounds good, doesn't it? Guessing it was the Op that played there, sounded a lot like Ayase-san's work and that often means good stuff, lol. |

| So they basically kidnapped someone's child and they'll be living together based on the opening scene, just great! They kill people in front of the girl and she's not afraid of them, is she braindead or what!? Also I'll never understand some random dude doting on someone else's child. I hope they don't use the child to get those "daddies" closer like kyo kara maoh and hataraku maou sama did. |

| I like it.. but how a kid as small as Miri can stay calm and actually smile when there is danger (gunfire and blood) all around her (even when someone is pointing a gun at her).. she even try to touch the gun :"D she is a fearless kid. And now she lives with someone who killed her father lol. |

| I think kids can be very unaware of nearby things and be real focussed on their target : Miri wanted to find her Papa, and I think that's a very realistic trait of her. That being said, it seems she'll get to know her Papas activity, and even "play" the assassin as well as her PV shows (Youtube) :  I don't expect it to be a Spy x Family clone, I just enjoy the vibes it's giving and I think the real deal will start with episode 2 or 3, as this episode was just there to "set the story". |
| Very solid premiere, I hope the rest of the season delivers. I have faith in P.A. Works. Hopefully this show can differentiate itself enough from Spy x Family. |

| I'm not really into stuff like Spy x Family. But I gave this one a try - the studio usually has "girls doing boring things" anime or anim with female cast mainly. And is good with different types of anime - if they sometimes (rare) make them. (Kuromukoro was good.) Episode 1 was just great. Focus on lots of comedy. But it worked. With heartwarming moments in between. And the two male mains (better than a couple with another female imo) ... work well together. I bet the dark haired guy ... will be liked by female watchers. Reminded a bit of Levi from AoT lol. :D |

| P.A. Works had a very solid 2022 for me and they're starting of 2023 with another nice start with Buddy Daddies. =) The comparison with Spy X Family is to be expected, but since I liked that series, it was natural for me to watch Buddy Daddies as it airs over the course of this Winter season. The first episode itself had many good action scenes, but also some nice comedic moments, too. Miri is incredibly adorable and her moments with Kazuki during the stand-off inside the hotel was sweet. I'm guessing that the target was the true father of Miri, so that's rather unfortunate if true. =( Either way, this was a fun first episode. Soundtrack and production values are very good and the chemistry between Kazuki and Rei is amusing, too. Hopefully this'll be another solid P.A Works original just like the hectic Akiba Maid Wars was last season. |

| Really loving the animation and artstyle for this anime. Kazuki & Rei are on a mission to steal the jewels but at the same time Miri is looking for her father, when both the buddies go to the hotel, Miri comes along and finds her father, Miri looks like an cute character, Miri reminds me of Anya from Spy x Family, also the show reminds me of The Yakuza's Guide To Babysitting. I think i will love this. |

| Meh I only decided to try watching this show cause I like Rei's character design, but this first episode didn't impress me at all. The main characters having killed Miri's dad (why does he look so much like the blond MC, so confusing) could be an interesting plot point, I guess maybe it'd become relevant if/when Miri's mother comes to fetch her. But what kind of shitty mother lets her kid travel alone to find her father by herself. And I find it weird this little kid is totally unbothered by seeing blood and hearing gun shots everywhere. Maybe she's just built different, but I'm pretty sure at her age I'd be scared shitless hearing such loud sounds lmao. Oh well, obviously I shouldn't take anything in this show seriously. I'll give it a few more episodes to see if it's worth watching. |

| Ok first episode. But it feels like it's trying to go for the SpyxFam demographic with a fujoshi bait twist. Also why the hell couldn't Rei keep the cat!? |
| It's decent. Nothing amazing but not bad at all. Has some good jokes and fun action. The animation is also just alright but nothing that really wowed me. Probably will end up being just a simple 7/10 for me but we will see. |
