| I'm actually lost for words. The last episode was anything I could've ever hoped for, but this one was even better. Unbelievable. As if defeating Yamamoto wasn't enough, the disrespect Yhwach expressed towards his change in person and leadership qualities over the years was just sad to watch and nothing Yamamoto deserved. Nontheless RIP Yamaji, you'll be missed. We also got a little flashback of the OG Gotei 13 members, which already showed that all of them must have been monsters. I really hope that we'll get more information about them in the future. With the slaughter continuing and Ichigo sensing more and more souls fading away, he was finally able to break out of Quilge's prison and with the help of Akon also to make his long awaited arrival in the Soul Society which left me nothing but speechless. His conversation with Byakuya broke my heart and showed how much everyone in the Soul Society was always trying to keep Ichigo out of their problems. That's why Byakuya's desperate final words: "Please protect the Soul Society" had such a strong impact on Ichigo. Never have I seen him with such rage and Morita did such a phenomenal job in expression it through his voice. The ensuing fight between Ichigo and Yhwach was the manifestation of epicness. Even with Ichigo's rage and frustration, you could gradually perceive the great difference in power. At first I was kinda perplex why he was able to use Quincy abilities. We never got more background about Ichigo's mother, so hearing that she was a Quincy is mind blowing, but also makes sense at this point. Although I have no idea how Aizen managed to alter Yhwach's senses, he definitely saved Ichigo, otherwise he would already be on his way to Wandenreich. What's Ichigo supposed to do? So many people died, his sword broke in half and not to forget the information about him being part Quincy. That's a lot of information to digest if you ask me. Such an emotionally stacked and somber episode. I honestly didn't knew where to go with my feelings. This is truly the best adaption we Bleach fans could've wished for. I can't wait to see the next episodes, even though I know I'm not ready for all the sadness. |

| Rip Yamamoto, he was a true legend. Dude, I was crying during the whole first part of the episode till Ichigo showed up. I’m so speechless, like Ichigo is basically a mix of every race at this point. I also want to see more of the previous Gotei 13, they looked awesome. And somebody please tell me that Byakuya isn’t dead. I swear, I can’t see him go yet. |

| The OST gave me chills this episode, especially towards the end when the big reveal happened, with the new version of Nothing Can Be Explained playing. Super fitting for the scene. Shiro Sagisu doesn't miss. |

| Tbh the plot/ pacing blows Demon Slayer out of the water (the train arc of demon slayer is pretty meh tbh) So imagine if Bleach got the treatment of Demon Slayer -> high quality production -> original content + good shading + insane animation + abit of dark element. We get the recipe for one of the best episodes of the year. This episode makes me think that plot is not everything for a shonen and execution can make a mediocre / average story into something special, just like what Demon Slayer EP 19 did. |
| This show is god damn boring and predictable, only the visuals keep me watch this which is far weaker than Demon Slayer's. Every other thing is garbage in this show. |
