| Pretty mid start. I guess that's what happens when something gets super overhyped. It just ends up giving the image of being overrated. As lavish as it's production values are, looks can only go so far when it seemingly lacked alot of substance. Wasn't invested for the most part but I'll keep watching since it's the biggest thing this year. Pochita adorable though so thats a plus. |

| When was the last time 2 episodes/premieres of different shows both had 1,000 replies so close together? It's kind of cool seeing how much traction both Bleach's return and this has gotten, even if it was obvious and if it involves fanbases and people against the show to be pretty annoying at times. The show's living up to the hype just from how many people I know in person that's talking about it, even old friends that were not anime fans when I knew them in school back in the day, now seeing them. |
| I'm glad to see MAPPA showing great attention to the show, it's very very nice to see a MAPPA show with the amount of quality and care poured into it. Really liked the new anime changes that they put in, made it more coherent. I cannot wait to see what is coming up next. |

| Great animation, great sound, good VA too. Pochita is very cute. Denji's murder scene was brutal. But what stood out to me the most was the opening. As a manga reader, I love the vibe it gives. BTW, this is the first time I watch an adaptation of a manga I've read prior. So this new experience and the normal moments like hearing the characters talk for the first time feel a little special. I'm happy with the first episode, excited for the next one. Can't wait to meet the rest of the team. Until then, I'll likely rewatch the episode once or twice :) |
| Early Chainsaw Man ain't amazing but if this is the level of adaptation we're getting it will be great. Not sure why so many complain about the CGI, it looked more than decent and general animation and art was top notch. |

| I was really enjoying this until the CGI. It would've been okay until literally they used it for Denji's hybrid form. Compared to the manga it seems they've massively slowed down the pace which I actually am happy with personally. |

| Turns out people weren’t actually kidding about CGI Denji lol. I hate to say this, but after seeing that fight between CGI Denji and Zombie Devil, I’m honestly quite worried how the rest of these episodes are going to look.. Aside from the CGI, I don’t have any other major gripes with this episode, and I’ll try to stay optimistic. |
| That was fire, I am not a fan of the CGI either but so far it's blending in acceptably so it won't ruin my enjoyment. |
