| Not sure how to feel about watching a demon crying, but Tanjiro's kind words did hit him pretty hard. Whelp, Tanjiro defeated him in the end anyway. Should I feel sorry for Zenitsu? Nah, Inosuke is just a bit hyperactive, that's all. |

| Zenitsu gained some points here. He might be a whiny character and I still don’t like him very much, but at least he got some values and sticks to them. Boarhead has to chill down a little. |
| Visually this was a fine episode but structurally, this was terrible. You could just feel and witness so clearly how this show tried to drag this episode out so badly to get that cliffhanger with Tanjiro and Inosuke staring down, with minutes of nothingness, redundant dialogue and repeated scenes taking up seconds that were from this very episode itself. The directing and composition for this episode was very clunky as they tried to retain that slow-paced format and turned it into a bit of a mess. Hell, the Zenitsu scene with protecting the box had its emotional elements completely neutered by having it play twice with no changes whatsoever. Didn't help that Tanjiro was just doing nothing and staring while he was getting his ass kicked and the safety of her sister was still threatened. This sucked. The demons so far have been far more underwhelming as characters than I expected, but hope that aspect picks up with the next episode. |
| All the rapid drumming looks like Tenjiro is floating up with no gravity, but the CGI on the water looks weird Zenitsu all of a sudden protecting the box was weird. |

| Well, Tanjirou is certainly a class act, by wishing somebody like that well wishes in death. And it was great that that demon was able to hear those words just before he died, that was in fact very good Karma by Tanjirou. I’m finally starting to understand the comedic value of Zenitsu, only I felt it was done in the right way this episode. Before his cowardice was so ridiculously over the top, that it just felt more annoying than anything else. This episode, I really saw the community value of it, because they definitely backed off on it a bit. And it looks like Tanjirou is about to lay down the law on that Inosuke pig man guy, so it should be very interesting to see what happens next episode! |

| Zenitsu was amazing at the end, unlike Inosuke. The OST playing in the background was definitely a great choice. The way he protected that box was so sad in a happy way. Loved Tanjirou's reaction but I was hoping he would just launch himself with the sword ready, not start shouting for a very long time, lol. Nice ending to that demon as well. |

| This show has really picked up. I was a bit hesitant on it for a while; I really didn't know if I wanted to finish it. I'm glad I came back to it and watched episodes 12 and 13. The villain had an amazing power and was so tragic, and there was atmosphere to that house. I'm really interested to see how Inosuke and Tanjiro deal with their situation. Zenitsu has even grown on me; I find his comedic screaming really out-of-place, but he has some interesting depth to him now too. Let's go!! |
| One of the best written and worst directed episodes in this show so far. I can't believe we finally get some good writing and this director decides it's more important to drag it out into a fucking cliffhanger. |
