the first half of this episode felt like filler so that was a bit disappointing but i thought the rest was pretty good. especially the flashback of chisato at the radio tower.

you know im not feeling an anime as much as i want to when a male character is more interesting to me than most of the girls

anyway

its pretty damn obvious Majima is a male Lycoris, Lilybell, w/e... and he somehow feels betrayed/lonely or some shit

Mika has clearly been hiding info from Chisato

they finna turn Chisato into a killing machine

Takina bout to have to kill her for the sad ass ending were all expecting

what if she has to team up with Majima to stop her or something... that'd honestly be pretty badass

Majima is an Alan Child not a LilyBell.
I think is hard to follow since in reality we don't even know the actual scope of the main org, the DA, and yet we have a lot of suppossed agencies that we should keep track of.

Thing is Majima probably has some dark mission from Alan, since is clear that he was set to explain to Chisato that Alan's missions don't mean good to the world, but something that makes full use of your talent, hence why they sent Chisato to become a pro-assassin.

yea the show gets kinda confusing at times with all the shit to keep track of

yea, with all the "covering up" that goes on in the show, even from Mika, its clear things aren't necessarily as they seem and we don't really know whats even going on

shit.. Majima may not even be a real villain

regardless, this kinda anime

NEEDS

a sad af ending, especially with all the build up of friendship between Chisato and Takina, they may be doing that to fuck w our hearts even more so when its over...

Seems to me like Yoshimatsu had different plans for Chisato (murder machine? who knows) and when Mika offered to give her a more normal life, Yosh got pissed? I am sure we'll find out more but damn such a cluffhanger!

Hmm beginning of a turning point? Chisato will either go berserk from now on, or she will weaken after whatever manipulation's done with her heart. She may even lose her talent... One thing for certain, Alan institute doesn't seem like they want Chisato dead. Wonder if Takina will get there in time and perhaps stop the procedure from completing 100%.

What are they doing to her heart??? What's up with the crazy high voltage? I hope they aren't going to make her evil now. Why would they end the episode with such a crazy cliffhanger ugh weird that Dr. Yoshi blamed everything on Mika. I found it funny that they started investing in stocks lol

Something a lot of viewer didn’t get….

Specially the very seemingly casual part where both Chisato and Majime said their favorite character is Police Officer Powell and that both favorite part of the movie is his scene in the end of the movie.

Just a Recap of Guy Hard, I mean Die Hard. Powell is the Cop that our MC John McClane be-friended in the movie, who Promised never ever to use his Gun or Kill anyone after an unfortunate incident of shooting a boy accidentally. The Ending of course in Die Hard is when McClane is embracing his wife after rescuing her, one of the Bad guy ‘Karl’ was able to sneak in with hostages and armed with a machine gun was about to gun down McClane and his wife. Officer Powell shoots bad guy Karl dead, breaking his promise but saving McClane’s life.

Quite telling isn’t it. Gives more reason for Chisato’s disgusted face after that before changing the subject to Coffee.

i really appreciate this episode for not being complete and total dead-horse-beating filler. it seamlessly laid the groundwork for something perplexing to happen without wasting too much time on a light-hearted change of pace. absolutely on the edge of my seat for next week ... but i have to say that i've got some questions about majima's motives and my whole-hearted optimism about the story has turned somewhat cautious. fingers crossed that the alan institute and him are tied seamlessly enough that the antagonistic forces here don't come off as entirely disparate (and rushed).

I wonder if the "final" conflict will involve Majima siding with the Lycoris to take down the Alan Institute.

That's pretty cool, it would make for some good foreshadowing though i wonder who'd be who? Aside from the obvious Chisato being Powell ofc.

Contains insults, slurs, profanity and sexually explicit language. Plenty of impersonation.

This episode is quite the rollercoaster of emotions. It starts with curiosity as at the beginning we see that Yoshi is certainly up to something. Then we continue with the happy wholesome adventure of Takina and Chisato as they're trying to to make the LycoReco Cafe profitable. Then it becomes really funny with more expressive Takina face, in this case it's an EMOTIONAL DAMAGE face. Then it starts getting tense as Majima starts to.... connect? with Chisato as they're both Alan children and both have lots of other similarities. Then we get a relatively quite moment where Chisato contemplates her purpose as an Alan children while Takina tries to comfort her. Then the intensity shot up to 11 as Alan institute is going to take Chisato's life for not fulfilling her "role" by straight up removing her artificial heart and ends with a cliff hanger of Takina trying to safe Chisato. GO TAKINA YOU MUST SAFE CHISATO.

After watching this episode, I have no idea what kind of show this is. Like, a weird combination of Yuri, Action, Slice of life, Comedy and Drama.

World building is great, characters design is great, but a questionable story with a lot of weird things along the way. Like, things go boom boom every day, gunshots every day but somehow we still have slice of life moments in it, and people still enjoy their drinks at LycoReco. I'm feeling like this show started going on the same path as Darling in the Franxx.

Well, with those special bullets and parfaits of Chisato’s, I could see how the cafe is losing money lol. It’s all up to Takina to cut down on wasteful spending!

The way Takina saved all those plates was impressive! But you know what was really impressive? The hot steaming turd parfait lol. Did not think it would go viral! The look on Takina’s face when she realized it was like poop lol. Chisato with her big bag of money and the kids playing with it was great too. I also liked the “handstand” part with the language lesson and when the robot helper flushed the turd parfait lol.

Looks like the Tower incident was a huge mess. Lots of dead Lycoris. Majima must have had super hearing if he was blindfolding himself like that. Maybe that’s his “gift”? But man, Chisato WAS a monster. That level of speed and precision was godly. Also, “Guy Hard” is great. Big fan of the first movie. I like “Rum Air” and “Eliminator” too lol.

It seems Chisato’s in real trouble. I knew these Alan guys were bad news. How’s Takina gonna save her now?

So, I'm gonna make the prediction that by the end of the series, it's not Takina or Chisato that end up dead, but Majima instead. Despite all his crimes he doesn't seem like the main main bad guy of the show, but he also did many terrible things that we can't just ignore. So I think he'll get to do one good thing before he dies. Here's hoping that he doesn't commit any more crimes from here on out because he's a free man cause Chisato just let him go, not even attempting to stop him.

I agree with this.. The writers have spent far too much time establishing the friendship between Takina and Chisato. It doesn't make sense that they would suddenly die or have to Takina kill Chisato. I predict that Majima will end up saving Chisato's life at the expense of his own, to make up for the wrongs in his life.

It's predictable that they're trying to reset Chisato's memory or turning her into an emotionless monster once again.

And I do think Majima isn't the villain, they might work together to destroy Alan's Institute.

In summary, at that incident, there were still police/forces involved (not 100% handled by Lycoris) and in the previous episode, the chief (who in ep5 was referred to by Mr Abe) was "presumably" killed at the office. And now they bring out again that two police on the scene.

How do you feel right now DA?

loved the episode, the ending made me want to scream at someone because the music over the ending scene did not match AT ALL. oh yes, let's put the happiest most upbeat outro music over a scene that fills me with absolute dread and fear. No, don't you fucking dare. Here I was having the best time for almost all of the episode, then bam, The Alan strikes. Seriously, the first half of the episode was so fun, it's such a joy to see Takina's development always. Then, Chisato and Majima interacting was really great as well. Aye, he might be killing people and blowing up buildings, but he cool.

Young Chisato was a menace though, she was badass, well, she still is now. Honestly expected that she was legit killing people then, and that something happened that made her switch to the (non-)lethal bullets. But she was already using it back then.

The whole joke with Takina's crap parfait lmao, RoboLyco saying he'll flush it was hilarious.

Cute bench scene, cute bench scene. Nothing bad better happen to those two.

I fucking love this show, if this still stays consistent until the end and stick the landing, I'll for sure end up rating this a 10. Can't wait for the next episode.
