| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Overall a nice ep, BUT: - main theme of the mage council is terrible (make your own music ffs) - (not connected to the anime itself) Mystogun, is it a new disease or what. Crunchy translators blow. |

It was a good episode. Too bad the fight was interrupted by Frog Faced council representative. Siegrain...wonder what is his little past secret that he does not want Erza to share with the council? The fire salamander was good comedy but I am disspointed it was not Natsu himself but Macao. I did laugh at Natsu trying to be Erza...that was really funny. Mystogan looked some sort of Ninja and I wonder also why he does not want his face to be exposed.....is he living some shame he does not want to share with everyone? How can his sleep magic be so powerful....it even worked of Makarov and he is the master of the guild. Laxus...more mystery as ine what are his powers and why he thinks (even might be) the strongest male in Fairy Tail....I though Natsu/Gray were of the strongest. These S class quests...what are the dangerous elements in their quests that makes them deadly? Monsters? Traps? Of the 5 people who are the 2 others that are S class? It was nice to see a blush of Erza when she was with Natsu in the prison cell and why even arrest to show off? Reputation to maintain? They did really good to me for the fight of Natsu and Erza...just wonder what is so special about her boots. Favorite poses of Erza=> Erza in Fire Empress Armor looks as good as her other armors...and that sword....is it something special too? kashim said: What? What? I saw it as Mystogan where did you get that? Yea, gave them too much credit. It was even worse translated. If everyone translated names like this we would have lots of: Jamesu, Georgi and other funny looking abominations. |

It's supposed to be Mistgun but it's translated like that so we cant do anything about it... anyways, it looks like it follows the manga but i hope they dont cut back on the animations. Natsu's spell circle and the fight animations are getting really annoying... I'm only watching this to see if it follows the epicness of the manga. Arc time i guess...and it's connected to |

| Read the manga and u'll know whats the secret XD I love the last prt when Mira came running down the stairs while telling Markarov tat an S class job was gone and Markarov lag abit than ... XD classic! rofl In the manga, Mistgun is still a mysterious character with alot of ??? The funny thing is... *spoiler* He looks exactly like someone who has already appeared. XD the story is more twisted than expected. |
| I suppose it was a decent episode. The spelling errors for the names annoyed me, though. And the music is kinda weird...doesn't fit half the time imo. Oh well. |
| They really need to get rid of the cast animations, Erza transformation looks like sailormoon -.- . Also Natsu as Erza was done badly, they were trying too hard to make that scene funny. |
| @Quarkboy Thanks for the explanation. Similar situation is with Beat Player Erin where they basically left 'Beast Lords' in romanized form. Strange choicec however you look at it. |

I think it was treated pretty decently compared to the manga. The next episode is where the insanity begins. |

| But it really is Mystogan....I saw it in the American translation. I mean, the episode showed "Elsa" but you don't see it being called that do you? EDIT: Never mind, Quarkboy's here. Hey Quark, how's it goin' |

| Useless stock animation is useless. Finally Mystogan and Luxus make their appearances. Hopefully they can get past the cursed island arc quick. I didn't really care for that arc in particular. |

| The next 2 arcs are okay... i think the best arc is laxus' arc. PS isnt Laxus translated differently or am i wrong i havent seen him in a while so i could be wrong. |

| Finally, the Galuna arc! My favorite after the Paradise Tower arc. This will be the first bigger arc. (and Gray fans should be delighted, because this arc will be all about him and his past) Edit.: Oh, yeah, I almost forgot Laxus's arc. It was great too, with some pretty good plot twists. |

| So Erza relies on armor, with resistance and stats adapted towards her opponent, to win eh? Now that's lame. True warriors don't need equipment or weapons. They fight naked, as one with nature. I hope Erza's a true warrior. :3 Natsu dressed up as Erza was hilarious. |

| I was hoping the frog to be voiced by a guy. This is just weird like that. |
| I hope they change the way they are animating the fights, otherwise the whole sequence -> punch, another sequence -> punch thing they are doing now makes the fights look ridiculous and boring. |
| We get our first glimpse of the Council being fags and we see Mistgun, Luxus and now the start of a new arc. Pretty good ep |

But even the small fights should be given at least SOME degree of decency instead of the picture-book syndrome. I actually enjoyed this episode, maybe cause I was stoned heh, even some of the forced humor wasn't that bad. |

| Oh Laxus has a nice voice. Gerard too. The only thing that really bothered me in this episode was the music played during the council meeting. It didn't fit that scene at all. Now it's time to see my favorite arc badly animated. Yay! |

| I'm getting really annoyed at the introduction that they keep repeating every single episode now ಠ_ಠ Now I'm getting curious as to who that guy with the tatoo or w/e it is over his eye. ¯\(°_o)/¯ Siegrein? Wth is that name anyway ┐(-｡ｰ')┌ And suddenly, out of nowhere, there's Gray in his underwear ( ¯‿¯) Mira-chan~ ◕ ◡ ◕ Mahou Shoujo Re-equip ٩(̾●̮̮̃̾•̃̾)۶ And hey.. Flame Empress Armor ( ´・‿-) WAT? Huge Frog with female voice? ٩(๏_๏)۶ And here I thought I might get a good fight for once, since they didn't seem to be re-using all of Natsu's cutscenes with his firemagic ┐(-｡ｰ')┌ WAT? Arresting mah Erza? ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶ And the frog-thingy makes some annoying "geko"-sounds all the time.. Hahah Natsu, way to go ⊂( ﾟヮﾟ)⊃ Erza~ ( ¯‿¯) Gray's realization that it was just a farce was great too （￣ー￣） Mira-chan! ٩(๏_๏)۶ Mystogan.. | We had the hot Black Armor and now we get twintale Erza with fire Armor. The woman is walking fanservice. I wonder what other costumes she has. BTW the Sailormoon thing is starting to get old. I have a question: Didn't they say in past episodes that Erza was the most powerful mage in Fairy Tale? Who the fuck are this new guys. Is she or isn't she the strongest? That blue hair guy from that council brought a new interest to the show along with the dirty secrets he seems to have with Erza. |
| Erza is so awesome, and I loved how she transforms into a warrior with a sexy armor. Mystogan and Luxus are interesting characters, and I can't wait to watch them and their fights. |

| I can't agree more, kind of annoyed to how they leave out parts of the manga yet they do put in silly filler things like Macao learning Natsu about his fire during his fight with Erigo. And a already complete filler episode which was 9. I'm enjoying the series but if it continues like this they're taking a lot away of the epicness that Fairy Tail could've been and it makes me think that this series won't be running long. Gildartz not beeing mentioned seems to only further make me think this. |
