| We all know that Death Note has been the #1 anime for almost 16 years now when it comes to introducing average people to the world of Japanese animation, but for the first time ever, it seems like a new show will be able to take that spot once and for all. What do you think? Will CSM manage to become the most popular starter anime for new anime watchers? Everything so far seems to indicate so. Best animation, music, sound design, story, characters, creative designs, originality, etc. Discuss. |
| I mean, every new generation of young eager anime watchers need its own "starting anime" so sure, yeah, why not. Young anime watchers love gore, and when 2d girls talk nasty to them. |

| I'm not sure because the anime hasn't even been released yet (although I'm certain it'll be well adapted). But talking from the storyline of the manga, my answer would probably be yes. Gore? Check. Waifus? Check. A cool power system? Check. Demons and monsters? Check. Cool fight/combat match ups? Check. Fairly simple and easy to follow storyline and also quite fast paced? Check check check. Basically what you'd be expecting from most shounens with main focus being fights and conflicts, it has it, and the teen edginess adds on to satisfy the taste of majority of the anime fandom. |
