Dragon Ball Z: Road to One Piece. Honestly, calling the episode "good" feels ridiculous. The action sequences made the episode acceptable. I can't forget the Akazuya cutting down Orochi's head. Well, the best part of the fight scene was 100% Kid and Law teaming up.. Like holy shit? Kid took a fat fucking punch from Big Mom, repelled her into the sky following with an attack from Law and finished by Zoro in the end. The whole aura clash in the sky felt strange. After reading some comments, it seems like it's just an extended fight scene which wasn't in the manga so it is what it is. The last 5 minutes made up for the episode and honestly felt like episode 1015.

There were some scenes I didn't really enjoy (basically, the Dragon Ball moment of Luffy vs Kaido lmao; and part of the dialogue between the Akazaya and Orochi, but I have to say on this one that I liked the comparison of Kin'emon and Oden), but this episode in general has been clearly one the best since after the 1015 one. A lot of plot twists.

I don't know if Oda said anything about Zoro's conqueror haki, but he undoubtedly got it. Remember the scene when Zoro was fed up of the Beast Pirates wasting the bean soup so he beat a bunch of them, and then he knocked out another bunch just by turning around, along with the recognizable red twinkle seen when that kind of haki is used

Orochi and his fellow ninja Fukurokuji are still going around the castle trying to burn everything up. Eventually the Akazaya run into him. Orochi goes into this BORING monologue about how the Kozuki wronged him and blah blah blah. DUDE WE’VE HEARD THIS STORY SO MANY TIMES. Kin’emon makes it clear that they don’t have business with him, but Orochi still wants to fight. Hence, the fight commences, and the Akazaya are easily able to take out all of his snake heads and they head off. Everyone but Raizo though. He stays to take care of some unfinished business with Fukurokuji, who has a grudge against him (besides the fact that he helped to kill Orochi).

Now we get to the coolest, most BADASS part of this episode, the fighting between Luffy’s group and two of the Emperors, Kaido and Big Mom. Luffy and Kaido are moving around in the air, clashing left and right and bouncing off rocks and all sorts of crazy stuff. It’s honestly nothing short of pure BADASSERY seeing the way Luffy moves around and flows when he fights. He’s simply on another level. This isn’t just another fight, but more like a once in a lifetime experience. Luffy just moves like the wind. He is so loose and his fighting style is fluid and absolute BAD-ASS-ER-RRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHY HE IS THE FIFTH EMPEROR! Luffy and Kaido then have a big clash in the air with Kaido’s club and Luffy’s fist where lightning is sprouting out from all over. The castle is tearing apart because the badassery is simply too much!

Some of the Akazaya are worried about Luffy, but Kin’emon reminds them of the promise they made with Luffy, so they understand that Luffy won’t go down so easily. HE IS THE FIFTH EMPEROR AFTER ALL!

Kaido starts talking about how he needs more of a thrill. Big Mom tells him they should end it now, and then Luffy comes in with his own line of pure badASSery. He says, and I quote, “Stop talking nonsense! You can’t end the battle on your own! You’re not gonna win! We’ll show you how determined we are! Kaido!” SUCH BADASSERY!

THAT’S RIGHT KAIDO, WHEN LUFFY IS IN THE BUILDING (FIGURATIVELY NOT LITERALLY), HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO DECIDES THE FATE OF THE BATTLE! THIS WON’T END UNTIL LUFFY HAS KICKED BOTH YOUR ASS AND BIG MOM’S ASS! WHEN LUFFY SAYS HE’S GOING TO DO SOMETHING IT’S AN ABSOLUTE GUARANTEE, PERIOD!

Then Kaido has the AUDACITY to disrespect Luffy’s speech as if he has any importance. KAIDO YOU ARE LUFFY’S STEPPING STONE! You’re not going to twist his head off as you claim. The fighting commences and Luffy allows himself to get hit into a rock. Big Mom goes after everyone else and Law uses Antibacterial Curtain to block Big Mom’s beams. It works at first, and then she sends another one, in which Law is blown back by the explosion. Luffy sees this and goes after Big Mom, but then Kaido had to get in his way. KAIDO, LUFFY WILL DEAL WITH YOU WHEN HE FEELS LIKE IT! WAIT YOUR TURN!

Then Kaido shoots a big fire blast from his mouth and completely changes the look of the environment. Kaido then says that determination and resolution mean nothing and that the weak will die, leaving nothing for the world.

Luffy remembers back in Episode 1,015 when Kin’emon asked him to carry the Land of Wano on his back! Then he tells Kaido “There’s something I have to do!” IT WAS SUCH BADASSERY. IT WAS A BRIEF, YET IMPACTFUL MESSAGE! Kaido thinks that because he exists, that he can stop Luffy from being free! BRO YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT STOPPING THE FIFTH EMPEROR?!?!?!? KAIDO MUST BE CRAZY IF HE THINKS THAT’S ACTUALLY POSSIBLE!

Zoro comes in and tells Kaido “If you’re gonna invite our captain to hell, I’ll come along as well!” Kaido thinks that Zoro standing by Luffy is not worth taking pride in. HELL NAH KAIDO YOU BETTER MISS ME WITH THAT ABSOLUTE CRAP! IT IS NOTHING SHORT OF A BLESSING TO NOT ONLY STAND BY LUFFY, BUT TO SACRIFICE ONESELF FOR HIM! Kaido tries to attack Zoro, but then Luffy comes in and blocks the attack.

Luffy then prepares his Ryuo for his next attack. While he’s doing that. Water droplets are floating IN SLOW MOTION! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH BADASSERY ONE NEEDS TO CREATE SLOW MOTION WITH WATER DROPLETS! THIS IS ON A HIGHER LEVEL THAN WHEN LUFFY TOLD WHITEBEARD TO SHUT UP AT MARINEFORD AND MADE HIS VOICE ECHO! Luffy’s punch to Kaido was such AMAZINGNESS and BADASSERY… that it played THREE TIMES!

Kaido is sent back and Luffy says again “There’s something I have to do!” and then he adds on by saying “That is Kaido… I’m gonna kick your ass and blow right past you!” Luffy tells Zoro “Sorry… Now you have no reason to die.” Zoro says “I knew that all along!”

THAT’S RIGHT ZORO! HE KNOWS THAT LUFFY IS GOING TO KICK KAIDO AND BIG MOM’S ASSES! Kid and Law tell Zoro and Luffy that they shouldn’t push forward by themselves! IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT ALONGSIDE THE FIFTH EMPEROR, YOU BETTER BE ABLE TO KEEP UP THEN! Luffy then uses his Conqueror’s Haki over a wide and creates a huge area of red. From then Luffy charges straight at Kaido with his Ryuo. Luffy and Kaido start flying around in the air, clashing against one another over and over again… until Big Mom has the AUDACITY to intervene. As I told Kaido, WAIT YOUR TURN!

Kaido sends another fire blast at Luffy and as a result he starts flying in the air… But, just like the opening, Law and Kid catch Luffy and launch him forward. Luffy uses Third Gear plus his Ryuo to get a good hit in on Kaido’s face. Kaido then uses Conqueror of the Three Worlds Ragnaraku! He hits Luffy directly, but we all know that won’t do anything as Luffy’s badassery is simply too much for any being to handle. Big Mom targets everyone else, but Law, Zoro, Kid, and Killer execute a plan. Kid creates a box, and then Law uses Shambles to trap Zeus in it. Then Zoro charges in and cuts Prometheus. Zoro then goes even further and uses Flame-Rend, Crossing the Six Paths!

Finally, Killer attacks Big Mom’s sword. Kid goes on to use Punk Pistols on Big Mom. Big Mom retaliates and punches Kid in the face… but that was apart of the plan. Kid attaches metal to her arm and uses Repel to launch her into the air. Law hits Big Mom with Takt! Big Mom is still so cocky that she didn’t see the full plan! Zoro cuts the rock beneath Big Mom and now she’s falling from the island!

MAN THIS ONE PIECE EPISODE WAS ACTION PACKED WITH BADASSERY FROM ALL OVER! IT WAS SO JUICY THAT I COULDN’T QUITE CONTAIN MYSELF!

Bro That’s toei animation. They messed it up . This felt like same in jimbeis case …… toei messed up big time. You’ll find out .Zoro doesn’t even know that he has haoshoku haki.

Wow, the episode was very different from the past ones. As far as I remember, that eight headed snake has an ability to survive if one of the heads is barely alive, so, I don’t think Orochi is dead, he will reappear. On the rooftop, the battle was amazing, Luffy received a direct attack from Kaidou and the combined attack from the others (and their plan) was good, lets see if Big Mom really falls to the sea. Was Big Mom shooting beams?

A pretty good episode. The fights were insane. Next episode is gonna be crazy. I thought Zoro's Ashura was purple? The fight between Kaido and Luffy went DBS level. Lol

Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load.

Reasons to HATE / DISLIKE

1. Orochi missing access to a 45 caliber gun
Bad story writing for Orochi to NOT even pull a gun out of his chest to shoot one of the samurai between the eyes before they take his heads. Instead , we get a story of him easily taken down. Nothing but incompetence in not having that revolver. This one I HATE
2. Kinemon and the samurai taking the easy way.
Kinemon decide to take the glory of a defenceless Orochi.The samurai show they are cowards by severing the heads of Orochi as if they cannot avoid and dodge passed him. They showed how to be a coward here. I HATE this story
3. Where is Zoro's funeral Arrangements?
zoro should have passed away from taking Conquest of the Sea head on. Trafalga Law should be selecting a Coffin using that unfair teleport to a Funeral Parlor. Wo ro ro ro ro, I HATE this... Ma ma ma ma ha :(
4. Big Mom and Kaido's Incompetence
What happened to taking candy from a baby? The two of them together are struggling to put an end to even one of them. This is bad and makes you wonder how they optained the Yonko Level status if the are this bad at fighting to the point of being separated from each other. I HATE this WANO story given to them.

The Straw Hats keep getting up like nothing happened. Breaking Rocks like Demolition Men but only destroying with their bodies instead. Only to get up again and again. No incompetence on the Straw Hats but Yonkos get Incompetence. Plus No Fan Service like pantyshots as a anime only exclusive filler to add Nami, Yamato or Nico Robin means its a HATE vote for this episode from me.

Man this arc is so much damn good , animation sometimes reach god level, but still don't know i feel that kaido is not same as other emperors even mama feels very strong but when it comes to kaido i just questions about his power is it me or anyone feels that too?

What are you talking about? Kaido and Big Mom successfully landed some attacks and helped each other out this episode, but it's still 5vs2. Kaido was busy with Luffy when the others took care of Big Mom. When characters(including ability users like Kid and Law) gang up on one there's not much you can do and everything happened extremely fast here. Plus, keep waiting for the next episode regarding Kaido interfering and Zoro's limits.

You're confused. It's the Worst Generation who's at their limit, not Kaido and Big Mom. Zoro is almost done for, meanwhile Jack got up again and Orochi was also still kicking. The way you nitpick makes it seems like you're suffering from memory loss. Not to mention that you only think up to certain point.

Last episode you complained about Jack letting the other Akazaya pass. What was he supposed to do? Fight them all and lose for sure? You say characters are incompetent, yet there's no alternative for them in certain situations. Yeah boyo, your trolling ass makes no sense at all. So pls keep hiding behind the fanservice gimmick.

KAIDO MUST BE CRAZY IF HE THINKS THAT’S ACTUALLY POSSIBLE!

Zoro comes in and tells Kaido “If you’re gonna invite our captain to hell, I’ll come along as well!” Kaido thinks that Zoro standing by Luffy is not worth taking pride in. HELL NAH KAIDO YOU BETTER MISS ME WITH THAT ABSOLUTE CRAP! IT IS NOTHING SHORT OF A BLESSING TO NOT ONLY STAND BY LUFFY, BUT TO SACRIFICE ONESELF FOR HIM! Kaido tries to attack Zoro, but then Luffy comes in and blocks the attack.

Luffy then prepares his Ryuo for his next attack. While he’s doing that. Water droplets are floating IN SLOW MOTION! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH BADASSERY ONE NEEDS TO CREATE SLOW MOTION WITH WATER DROPLETS! THIS IS ON A HIGHER LEVEL THAN WHEN LUFFY TOLD WHITEBEARD TO SHUT UP AT MARINEFORD AND MADE HIS VOICE ECHO! Luffy’s punch to Kaido was such AMAZINGNESS and BADASSERY… that it played THREE TIMES!

Kaido is sent back and Luffy says again “There’s something I have to do!” and then he adds on by saying “That is Kaido… I’m gonna kick your ass and blow right past you!” Luffy tells Zoro “Sorry… Now you have no reason to die.” Zoro says “I knew that all along!”

THAT’S RIGHT ZORO! HE KNOWS THAT LUFFY IS GOING TO KICK KAIDO AND BIG MOM’S ASSES! Kid and Law tell Zoro and Luffy that they shouldn’t push forward by themselves! IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT ALONGSIDE THE FIFTH EMPEROR, YOU BETTER BE ABLE TO KEEP UP THEN! Luffy then uses his Conqueror’s Haki over a wide and creates a huge area of red. From then Luffy charges straight at Kaido with his Ryuo. Luffy and Kaido start flying around in the air, clashing against one another over and over again… until Big Mom has the AUDACITY to intervene. As I told Kaido, WAIT YOUR TURN!

Kaido sends another fire blast at Luffy and as a result he starts flying in the air… But, just like the opening, Law and Kid catch Luffy and launch him forward. Luffy uses Third Gear plus his Ryuo to get a good hit in on Kaido’s face. Kaido then uses Conqueror of the Three Worlds Ragnaraku! He hits Luffy directly, but we all know that won’t do anything as Luffy’s badassery is simply too much for any being to handle. Big Mom targets everyone else, but Law, Zoro, Kid, and Killer execute a plan. Kid creates a box, and then Law uses Shambles to trap Zeus in it. Then Zoro charges in and cuts Prometheus. Zoro then goes even further and uses Flame-Rend, Crossing the Six Paths!

Finally, Killer attacks Big Mom’s sword. Kid goes on to use Punk Pistols on Big Mom. Big Mom retaliates and punches Kid in the face… but that was apart of the plan. Kid attaches metal to her arm and uses Repel to launch her into the air. Law hits Big Mom with Takt! Big Mom is still so cocky that she didn’t see the full plan! Zoro cuts the rock beneath Big Mom and now she’s falling from the island!

MAN THIS ONE PIECE EPISODE WAS ACTION PACKED WITH BADASSERY FROM ALL OVER! IT WAS SO JUICY THAT I COULDN’T QUITE CONTAIN MYSELF!

He is so loose and his fighting style is fluid and absolute BAD-ASS-ER-RRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHY HE IS THE FIFTH EMPEROR! Luffy and Kaido then have a big clash in the air with Kaido’s club and Luffy’s fist where lightning is sprouting out from all over. The castle is tearing apart because the badassery is simply too much!

Some of the Akazaya are worried about Luffy, but Kin’emon reminds them of the promise they made with Luffy, so they understand that Luffy won’t go down so easily. HE IS THE FIFTH EMPEROR AFTER ALL!

Kaido starts talking about how he needs more of a thrill. Big Mom tells him they should end it now, and then Luffy comes in with his own line of pure badASSery. He says, and I quote, “Stop talking nonsense! You can’t end the battle on your own! You’re not gonna win! We’ll show you how determined we are! Kaido!” SUCH BADASSERY!

THAT’S RIGHT KAIDO, WHEN LUFFY IS IN THE BUILDING (FIGURATIVELY NOT LITERALLY), HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO DECIDES THE FATE OF THE BATTLE! THIS WON’T END UNTIL LUFFY HAS KICKED BOTH YOUR ASS AND BIG MOM’S ASS! WHEN LUFFY SAYS HE’S GOING TO DO SOMETHING IT’S AN ABSOLUTE GUARANTEE, PERIOD!

Then Kaido has the AUDACITY to disrespect Luffy’s speech as if he has any importance. KAIDO YOU ARE LUFFY’S STEPPING STONE! You’re not going to twist his head off as you claim. The fighting commences and Luffy allows himself to get hit into a rock. Big Mom goes after everyone else and Law uses Antibacterial Curtain to block Big Mom’s beams. It works at first, and then she sends another one, in which Law is blown back by the explosion. Luffy sees this and goes after Big Mom, but then Kaido had to get in his way. one of the best anime and world building concepts ive ever seen. It contains a vast amount of entertainment, comedy and experience that everyone can gain. Myself i have grown to love one piece and i like to say i dont regret spending years finishing more than 1000 episodes even after i saw that it was all filler/prolouge/not the main story.
