This year's 24th issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine announced on Wednesday that a television anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki's Mokushiroku no Yonkishi (The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse) sequel manga is in production and revealed a teaser visual (pictured).

Suzuki began serializing the sequel to the Nanatsu no Taizai manga series on January 27 last year in Weekly Shounen Magazine. The sixth volume was released on March 17, with the seventh volume scheduled to ship on May 17. Kodansha USA licensed the manga on February 23 last year and will release the third volume on May 24.

The Nanatsu no Taizai manga began in Weekly Shounen Magazine in October 2012 and ended its seven and a half year run in March 2020. Kodansha published the 41st and final volume in May of the same year. Kodansha USA shipped the final volume on January 26 last year. The series receives multiple anime series, movies, and manga spin-offs.

Synopsis
Percival has always lived with his grandfather on God’s Finger, a remote haven that sits high above the clouds. And though he loves the simple life, he secretly longs for adventure. But Percival’s life is changed forever when an intruder—who shares a shocking connection with him—tears away everything he’s ever known.

With nothing left to do but chase down the one who took everything from him, Percival sets out on his own. During his journey, the sheltered boy discovers that there are a lot of things he doesn’t know about normal life. Luckily, he meets friends along the way who can help him get by—but how will they react when they find out about Percival’s destiny... and how it’s connected to the end of the world? As long as the animation is good, I am going to watch it. Otherwise I am just going to read the manga.

I totally understand why people worry about the quality of the animation, but I am amused by those who try to even try to give the sequel a chance because of this.

Almost 6 years of 7DSs has left me traumatized with the extreme tank in quality in the last few seasons, I think I'll pass. It's all so tiresome.

What is this? Should I give a shoot to read the Manga?

It is the sequel spinoff to 7DS that mainly follows a brand new character and team, but the old characters from the previous manga are in it + their offspring - whom are also going to have a big role in this story

What I will say is that as of the latest chapter, we are just now getting all of the 4 Knights together, but despite that, the manga has been pretty enjoyable and consistent thus far
