Cowboy Bebop is as close to perfect as it gets in my book, where I could spend hours watching and talking about almost every individual episode and would rank most episodes higher than most anime in their totality. |
I probably regret this post by now. |

The only one I’ve come across so far has been Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song. It has the fewest weaknesses of any TV anime series I’ve seen so far (the animation quality, music/soundtrack, voice acting, story construction, and character writing are all VERY strong) and it packs an emotional punch that few other pieces I’ve seen are able to match. The only things that come close in that last aspect (for me) are Your Name, Violet Evergarden, and Madoka Magica. So far, Vivy has been the only anime series I’ve given a 10/10 to. |

I dunno but i think the "Perfect Anime" isn't about the visual, story line, and the other stuff. But i think the "Perfect Anime" is the Anime that the person love the most,i mean like in terms of visualization, character, and the story line anime like Bleach and Gintama might be the "Perfect Anime" you're mean, but still so if u don't seem to be liking the anime no matter what do people say about it you will be thinking the same. |

I love Clannad but there's a few really bad episodes in the mix especially 1-8 of After Story. Aria doesn't have that Kyoani animation quality. Nor does Girl's Last Tour so they don't qualify either. So...I'm gonna have to go with K-On!!. It checks all the boxes that even my other favorite shows can't. |

Steins;Gate is the only anime I've seen that I haven't been able to pick apart. Like, to the point where I'm kind of upset. The ONLY thing I've been able to even consider "bad" is their whole deal with Ruka's transness, but like. That's of the time, it's not meant to be perfect "representation", and that's totally fine. But, that's just my personal opinion. There are people who dislike parts of Steins;Gate, and that's because the idea of what's good/bad in anime is totally subjective. |

For me a perfect anime would require: -Top tier story/plot -Top tier characters/cast -Top tier music/soundtracks -Top tier animation/visuals Let me know any animes that meet all the requirements. There is no such thing as a "perfect anime". You can say you had 10/10 enjoyment (which I certainly did on a few shows) but quality is entirely subjective. One person may find some incredibly popular anime to be trashy and vice versa. |

it depends on your own version of what perfection is; i don’t think perfect exist in real life for anything, bc everyone wil have different views and their own definition for perfect. i genuinely don’t have an answer that would please everyone and i don’t think anything is able to be perfect; perfect is a concept us humans aren’t able to fully comprehend although we have a term for it, there are things that are close ofc but nothing can be truly perfect bc if something is perfect then there wouldn’t be any room to improve and humans are always changing and evolving which is what I think is so beautiful, I consider anime or any medium is a preference based thing and im sure there are anime that have come close but if we were able to turn something into a such a tangible concept such as “perfect” then there wouldn’t be a point in having ur own taste and uniqueness bc no matter how shit something may be someone out there that loves it and no matter how “perfect” something is; someone out there will hate it; which is what so great about having such a diverse medium that has a broad spectrum of peoples tastes :) |

I don't know about perfect, but looking at it from a more objective perspective, rather than discussing the story, ost, characters, etc. I think its more beneficial to discuss the anime's importance, relation to real events, its place within the mediums history and its respective genre. For those then I'd say:
Keeping in mind that like 90% of these anime are not my favs, but i cant deny solid work |

I wouldn't say there is a truly perfect, without flaw, anime. Even the ones I give the highest scores to I wouldn't deem that. But to me, among my favorites, the closest I'd say to perfection would be March Comes in Like a Lion, Honey & Clover and Fooly Cooly. |

As most people have said, I'm not sure there's any anime that is absolutely perfect but I think Monogatari Second Season is as close as you can get. I genuinely can't think of how you'd improve it. |
