What's the most episodes of anime you've watched consecutively in one sitting? For me that anime is Monster, I watched from Episode 37 to Episode 74 (38 episodes) consecutively without any breaks. It took about 14 hours of watching to accomplish this. That was 5 years ago though, and I'm ready to finally break that record, but I need the right show, so tying this into recommendations - what show/s would you find most "binge-worthy"? 2 That I'm heavily considering are "Kingdom" and "Hajime no Ippo" |

In the past when I had more spare time on my hands, I would spend afternoons binging on 12 to 13 episode anime in a single sitting. At most though, believe I creamed through 20 episodes in a day for a few long-running titles. Nowadays though, I don't have that much of an attention span to focus on anime for that extended period of time. |

I watched all Clannad After Story in one go, that's my record. I also watched the whole Chimera Ants arc in 3 days. |

I completed Please Teacher and Kiss him, not me (both 12 episodes) in a day in one sitting. I also watched 20 episodes of Yugioh in one day as well. |

48, a few times, back when I still had summer breaks π€ Usually one of the big three, most commonly One Piece. Battle shounen are very naturally bingeable since they aren't boring enough to lose interest but also not complex enough to be mentally exhausting. Nowadays I don't have that energy anymore, regardless of genre. I tend to grow disinterested after ~13-14 episodes and need a break. |

Berserk 1997 with 15+ episodes without breaks when I was sorta new to this anime thingy, my attention span is too low and anime was never an important part of my life so it's really something. |

Usually Animes with only 12 Episodes I can finish in a day but then again it all depends on my school schedule. If the Anime Site I used have a "Skip Intro" Button just llike Netflix, I would have finished like 16 Episodes a day. |

I watched both (at that time) seasons of Toaru Kagaku no Raligun (each 24 episodes) one per day back in April 2019, three years ago. It was great. Third season though, that was a pain to watch weekly, but that's another story involving schedule and production issues. Mech shows and magical girls shows are great for binging in my experience also. Throw in One Piece too, as long as you skip openings, endings, filler episodes or arcs and recaps you can probably power through 40 episodes per day. Or just watch the fan project One Pace, it's almost complete, all sagas (except Wano) post time skip are complete, which is when the pacing gets horrendous. Serial Experiments Lain, Mushishi and Aria are shows I personally recommend to binge in a hot summer day through a lonely afternoon till night with a fan on, in batches of 12-13 episodes, except Lain because that's only 13 episodes for completion. Really makes you think. |

I watched 21 or 22 episodes of World Trigger 1st season in one sitting, though the recaps were almost half an episode long so that was the trick behind. |

Thanks to COVID and quarantine, I started to watch One Piece because all my friends want me to watch it and I managed to finish 700 episodes in 3 weeks nonstop because I was too addicted. Now One Piece is like my Top 3 shows of All Time and I will never regret the 3 weeks I spent with One Piece. I also did the same to Love Live! School Idol Project for both seasons because it's like the best thing I've also seen. I also watched like 30 HxH episodes in one day before stopping and taking it slow. Steins;Gate was also another one where I finished one season in just a day. |

I watched another 412 episodes in that same 24 hour period. Honestly i had to break Aggretsuko up until multiple days. The constant screaming wore me out after a chunk of episodes. I can divide those 1k eps out into like 40 top shows i hadn't seen yet. Lain and Aria, ya i still need to see. Lain is probably a 1 sitting show, but from what ik of Aria its meant to be some kind of atmospheric SoL CGDCT? Something with some "octane" and a strong story might be better for 1 sitting marathoning. |

I haven't checked your list, so going at random: SNK Made in Abyss Btoom Dororo Ansatsu Kyoushitsu 2 Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory These I think anyone can binge easily enough, without even noticing. I binge my anime so depending on how subjectively interesting a show is it will take me one or two days to finish it. If it's boring or annoying, it takes longer of course. |

Both seasons of Code Geass when I re-watched it which is about 50 episodes. It's easily my all time fav so it was easy to binge. Johan said: 2 That I'm heavily considering are "Kingdom" and "Hajime no Ippo" Kingdom is pretty good. It’s like a lesser version of dynasty warriors, since the generals are OP but not OP enough to solo an entire army. The fights mostly revolve around tactics, with some fights becoming a 1v1 general duel fest. There are Generals as smart as Lelouch or Kira. Story revolves around the main character who aspires to become the strongest general and uniting China. At S3, he’s still below General level. It has some romance aspect with the Heroine stronger than the MC himself. I’d say S3 > S2 > S1. I couldn’t binge S1 but S2 and S3 was a breeze. S1 focuses more on the character development, while S2/S3 is a nonstop warfest which made time flew by. |

The 1v1 fighting happens when they are in a disadvantageous position like having less troops or a smaller army in which case the generals take matters into their own hands and goes for the enemy general's head instead to gain an advantage. Although when they go 1v1, the soldiers won't interrupt them out of respect. They will watch and cheer until the duel ends in which they will resume fighting. I don't know if it's a Chinese thing since I see this a lot in Chinese movies especially in Three Kingdoms. |
